Yes, there are so many free IPO coins, but only a few of them are serious. ENRG is one of them, hope it will be the best. +1 At first, I applied COMM. But the dev of COMM is just a joke. I think the COMM dev created COMM but also killed it by his greedy. But the dev of ENRG is serious. I think ENRG will do better with a good dev. |

Please list community coin (COMM) in the poll. It is a new proof of stake coin that is currently being fairly distributed among 500 bitcointalk members. The distribution is almost complete and a big community has already grown around the coin who would like to actively vote for it to be listed on bter.

But before casting our votes, Are we going to concentrate on one exchange aka mintpal first or we are trying multiple exchanges at the same time? COMM already has an exchange now. But people are not encouraged to use it before distribution finished. And this exchange is not popular and may not be helpful. The exchanges should be Mintpal and Poloniex. |

You guys are still all missing a even deeper implication of P2SH^2. I'll give you another hint: Does data need to be stored forever to prove it was published once?
I think you just need to have proof that it's been seen/published before  So P2SH^2 makes it hard to publish data by requiring another hash. If we can't send data directly via P2SH^2, we could still reveal our data in the actual script later on. Once the data is seen elsewhere (like in the script to redeem), we can then look at the previously confirmed P2SH^2 txn for the proof. I think a big problem also plaguing GPUC is the oversaturation of shitcoins everyday, people that used to hit every launch are now like "why bother" and going back to mining multipools or other stable coins. I don't think blaming Jaymes is the answer. This is just more fallout from all the scams and dead coins that have been dragging everything down for the last few months. That and in the last few months you could count on a certain amount of profit, not anymore. profits are down close to 50% so people are not adding cards right now. Drastic measures are required if this is going to succeed in these circumstances.

Its a good idea as all the other coins are falling in price, it will attract the attention of more people who will see the prices rise. But i would have waited or coincide the launch on mintpal with the offer, unless this is planned.

I've proposed a solution, similar to what you suggest, reduce subsidy at a certain point and hard fork..
But as I've said, i can implement anything, but it requires an executive decision from the CEO and owners of GPUCoin LLC. Without that I cannot make these kids of economic changes.
Ok, this is (probably) crazy.... but... what if the currency was re-issued at 1/100th the volume of this one (200 subsidy, 135M maxcoins, etc)? Is there some way current GPUC holders could convert to the new currency? I know that's a bit drastic and perhaps impossible practically but something has to be done and cutting the subsidy isn't going to be enough IMHO unless someone supports the price during the transition. Well, part of the problem is that because coins are being produced too fast the price is lower than was originally expected and because of this investors are losing a lot of money. Converting to a new volume would not remedy that if investors have to convert their coins over as well. The best solution will be one that ensures the investors can make money.
