1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][ICO]Kambio Ventures - A Regulated Security Token Exchange for Startups on: November 22, 2018, 03:00:02 PM
I'm starting to see a clearer picture now. Last weeks was a disaster form cryptos in general. SEC ruling, the two idiots fighting over BCH, future expiring from the CBOE... This is a strong market correction if I've ever seen one. Next week the first BTC ETF launches.

GOOD times ahead gents and gals, good times... I'm with Lee, we can definitely see 15k by the end of the year. This time last year BTC was at around 5.5k

exactly! Many analysts make doomsday scenarios based on TA, but seem to have forgotten fundamentals. And recent Eth exchange exploits also adds to the party. Personally, I am extremely bullish from here on, unless there is another major drama. Seems all the rotten apples have been removed from the basket.

Bakkt was also pushed back to January, and next week the Swiss ETF launches. Should be an interesting ride

Wow, what a week. With the new SEC ruling, this really does seem like the end of the ICO as we know it. At the same time, opens the floodgate for regulated tokens and more serious players. I just hope the entire ICO concept does not die off, but evolves, it really is an elegant social crowdfunding solution.

The only problem I have with securities is that traditionally they are out of the reach of regular people, which is a damn shame. One of the promises of tokenizing assets would be to lower the barrier of entry so much, while increasing accountability and transparency so much - surely there is a way to democratize this investment vehicle.
3  Other / Meta / Re: if I were a join two years ago I was membem but now I'm newbie this is not fair. on: September 17, 2018, 11:13:34 AM

What is so special about being senior or newbie? Just participate, contribute to meaningful and positive discussions with good content. That is what forums are all about. Not "very good project, solid team, wise investment" on and on and on.

I guess this means great things for the forums and the community, the growth is there. Anyway, this is not a membership competition, it is a forum for people to meet and discuss

I would like to thank you for explaining how it works. As I understand, the merit point system was introduced as a means to increase the general quality of posts here on bitcointalk. It seems these past few years this foums has seen a fair bit of abuse. Yeah, I've been a lurker  Grin

First post by the way, pleasure to meet you all ...  Wink
