1  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 18, 2014, 11:45:54 PM
WHY DO my posts keep getting deleted?
They are not attacks
They get deleted because they speak an uncomfortable truth and that truth is that Ken has failed and makes excuses
and that the company needs to be liquidated and distributed to shareholders.

That is not trolling
It is just acceptance that tomorrow's news will be more vaporware.

Why do my posts get deleted?
Because I speak the truth?
That unless Ken comes up with something honest and real soon, that it would be better for all shareholders for him to liquidate and distribute the proceeds?

What is troll-like in that?

Getting something is better than nothing.
3  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 13, 2014, 02:42:33 PM
This actually is good news.

Why? Because it shows that Ken understands that he needs help and has hired someone to handle tasks best left for someone else.

On the other hand, again he tells us to wait.

But! VMC BTC had no business being on MtGox. Since there was no way to get USD out of Gox, leaving them there was really, really stupid.

Weekly Update 3/12/2014

VMC has hired Kris as their new customer service rep and she is getting all of the old messages caught up.

VMC is expecting to start sending out refund check again in about 2-4 weeks.  This delay in refund checks
was caused by VMC's loss of bitcoins on MtGox.  All refunds will be covered 100%.

I will be in California this next week and I am expecting to announce some really good news next week.

Why shouldn't it be easier to use bitcoin anywhere and everywhere?

No it shouldn't.

It should be easier to travel on a motorcycle and use bitcoin everywhere and anywhere.

Trolls are unavoidable online/

One must differentiate between a troll, whose only purpose is to goad, taunt, harass and get a rise out of others, and someone who is a shareholder and is very frustrated by the situation.

Ken seems to have only a few standard answers to every question. For example, below, his response is, something good is coming, and wait, there will be a full report soon.

Once, deferring a proper response would get us to wait. But, it is like that story about the boy who cried wolf.  Too many times with the same story, and no one in the village will believe you.

The real issue is what to do now.

Should we all wait for the "good news"?  Should we walk away from this mess?
Should we demand Ken do something?

7  Economy / Securities / Active Mining Thread (Troll Free) on: March 04, 2014, 02:21:24 PM
We all know the problem with the multiple Active Mining threads and the many trolls.
We also know how the CEO of Active Mining has made multiple bad business decisions.

This is a moderated thread which will remove any troll post, where we, the betrayed shareholders, can discuss and organize to start a plan of action to retrieve what assets we can before the CEO of Active Mining loses it all.

De-castroized, too!  De-decastroized?

Point being, it will have no graphic images and no vermin.

No trading-->Not So Good

Weekly PR now in response to pressure from Share Holders--> Yes Good!

Team of Engineers hired--> Yes Good!

Real plan for 55 nm chips--> Yes Good!

Real Plans for 28 nm chips--> Yes Good!

Being investigated by Missouri Securitires Division--> No big deal, they are dealing with something new. After they investigate, they will move on to something else.

Several technologically knowledgeable shareholders in frequent communication with Ken--> Yes Very Good!

Someone else commented on why someone would buy a miner that would not reach ROI.
Actually, at $1500 for 432 GH, even a couple of months out, it will reach ROI. At that price it is still competitive with what other companies are offering. ActM is primarily a mining company, so if not a single miner is sold, and all ActM's production is directed to just go online to mine for the company, ActM will make lots of money for its shareholders.

For everything to be Yes Good! Ken merely has to hold to his promises to get this out by Q2 2014.
It is not Q2 yet, and everything seems to be on schedule.

104 wafers. That's good, can anyone work out how many chips that will be in total.

No trading and being investigated by the Missouri Securities Division - not so good.

Quit with the stupid graphics.
They only serve to annoy, and unless that is your purpose, they contribute nothing.
They only conversation that is important here is the one that involves Ken answer direct questions on what the progress of this fiasco really is.

Ken refuses to answer the important and persistent questions.
Several in our little friend community seem to feel that Ken and ActM is on track. That might be so, but it is not right that trading has not yet begun. Now, Ken has a team of at least three or four coders. Surely he could devote a little time to get trading happening. After all, he promised several times to do so.  Ken does lies and justifies it because he believes it is to either protect us or that when the company succeeds, we will all forgive him.

Dear Fellow (disappointed) Share Holders,

Why do you all think Ken ignores all requests and demands to restart trading?

He is skilled at ignoring postings that might be found as offensive. We saw Ken break down just once.

Tomorrow is weekly PR day. Will there be more lies and excuses or will Ken finally come clean and be honest about the state of affairs of Active Mining?

12  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 11, 2014, 06:34:35 AM
The price of bitcoin has gone below $700.
Gox is dying.
Ken needed bitcoin prices to go high in order to make active mining make a profit on paper.
Bitcoin price has dropped, difficulty has gone up.
There will be no profit.
It is predicted that Ken will shut down operations in a few days and come up with some excuse to legitimize doing so.
It is all over.

13  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 11, 2014, 12:47:14 AM
Ken-- Is today the day that you are permitting your beleaguered shareholders to verify shares and finally begin trading?
More delays, less confidence.
We will cease losing you Ken.  Do you really want that?
14  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 10, 2014, 03:58:44 PM
That COBOL Hollerith card, IBM 360 joke will go over the heads of those who were born after 1990.

Ken says the company is in good financial shape.

This is how much your shares are worth=(Total finances held by the company) divided by (total outstanding shares minus shares held by Ken and family)

Soon, Ken, your car, your house, the contract with eASIC, your plans, will be put into receivership and a better team of managers will be appointed by a judge in Missouri to take the remains of ActM and lead it to some salvage of profitability.

Ken- When will verification begin? Why have you lied deceived us about the date of the start of the verification process?

The verification process has begun when Ken started working on the incredibly complex COBOL code he plans to run on his IBM 360 server.
No lie.

Ken- When will verification begin? Why have you lied deceived us about the date of the start of the verification process?

Ken- Why do you avoid answering direct questions?

A full scale shareholder revolt, in which the shareholders actually organized and contacted a lawyer would not be very good.
You may believe that you will lead ActM to success, but if enough shareholders do not believe that, you will have a bit of a problem.

16  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 10, 2014, 06:36:23 AM
Ken,

When will trading begin again?

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Doesnt Satoshi Continue Replying on the Forum? on: February 10, 2014, 06:28:30 AM
Satoshi disappeared because He did not need to be around.
He delivered His message, initiated the movement, and His job was done.
Time to ascend.

Why did Satoshi disappear completely? He could have stayed on the forums and could reply to our questions on bitcoin.

He should just return. Please. Thank you.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / State of Florida attacks Bitcoin on: February 09, 2014, 03:57:11 PM
First, read the articles at these links:

http://www.morningnewsusa.com/three-bitcoin-traders-arrested-in-florida-238060.html

http://www.dnaindia.com/world/report-three-arrested-in-florida-over-bitcoin-money-laundering-charges-1960172

http://www.theverge.com/2014/2/7/5390782/three-bitcoin-traders-arrested-in-florida-on-money-laundering-charges

Summary of those links is that the in Florida, the state decided to go after some localbitcoin traders for money laundering after setting up a live in person exchange.

Bitcoin is not cocaine. Bitcoin is not crack. It is not cannabis. It is not stolen guns with the serial numbers filed off.

There are a variety of forces that fear technology they do not understand.
There are a variety of forces that fear any technology that breakdowns international borders and barriers.

We, the people who support bitcoin, need to come out in the defense of the guys who were arrested in Florida and support bitcoin.

Ken!!!!

Do the right thing!

YOU PROMISED THAT VERIFICATION OF SHARES WOULD HAVE STARTED BY NOW.

Quit lying. Quit rationalizing your lies with excuses.

The time has come for you to do as you promised weeks ago.

When will you honor your word? When will you honor your promises?

When will verification of shares really begin?

KEN!!! Quit making excuses. Time really is running out for you.

20  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 09, 2014, 06:42:36 AM
Does anyone know the number of outstanding shares of active mining stock?
That is, the number of shares not held by Ken or his family?

Does anyone know what the value is of active mining? How much money in US currency and bitcoins does he/active mining have?

If you divide that amount by the number of shares held by shareholders, what is the value per share?

It is time to organize and either force Ken to liquidate the assets and return it to shareholders, or force Ken to hand over management of the company to someone or management team who can lead active mining to achieve some of its potential.

Thefunkybits may be right, maybe it is time to take some actions to persuade Ken to quit his nonsense and do the right thing.
What is the best way to persuade Ken to either do what the shareholders want and to fulfill his promises?
If this was a real company with real shares, we could organize shareholders to vote in a real board of directors and a real management team.
If we took some legal action, we could use legal means to force Ken to either accept proper management or liquidate assets.
Legal action requires organization and money. Could we organize enough shareholders to do this?
VE tried to influence Ken but in a harsh and unsuccessful way.
What would be the most effective way to persuade Ken to fulfill his promises?
FunkyBits---what are you suggesting we do?

Ken--- Start verification of shares now.

Ken why the fuck hasn't this been done yet??

Please no more lies about our shares until the verification process has started.
I've been buying some ridiculously cheap shares this week and I appreciate the opportunity but if you haven't noticed NOBODY is buying your walls anymore. Dumping Ukyo's/ACTM shares before we get the chance to trade is questionable and confidence has been lost in you by many. Your horrendous PR and grade-school spelling errors have apparently turned people off of buying since Wednesday (before that the strong buy volume had me shocked, but understandable seeing as .0005 is a steal).

Get it together ASAP. There's been enough excuses and bullshit, pissing off shareholders will not do you any good.
I would hate to have to rally the troops again to spam VMC phone lines to get some answers...
