What do you guys think, will the project please us with something new next year? I very much hope that the project will develop further.
Development plan is more or less defined, all is lest is to finally start releasing something. |

Agreed. Too much factors should be accounted for to have a fully automated vessel control and navigation system. So far it doesn`t seem realistic. |

I`m related to the charter business, and I can say that it is interested in the possibility of remote control of the vessel. I wonder if Boat Pilot can offer this feature?
I think such a function is possible with the advent of BoaGod. It allows a navigation program installed on a tablet computer to connect to onboard networks, thereby providing the ability to analyze information and receive/send data to the onboard network. Additionally, BoatGod users will be able to control onboard devices such as the vessel's autopilot, engine, onboard lighting, and media system. With BoatGod skippers will be able to monitor the status of all the vessel's systems and manage them. Sounds pretty much like a yacht remote control system. As for charter companies, I imagine it is possible for charter companies to code their vessels to return to base on its own. It will be really convenient for users, but seems dangerous in case of communication problems. |

Ur welcome. It was natural though that they`ll also consider these regions, otherwise they`ll lose a huge portion of the market - there`s no use making navigation tool only for Mediterranean.
Same as releasing mobile app only for one platform: iOS or Android. Good that BP has no such division. |

Check the White Paper again carefully, there is a link to the Yellow Paper somewhere in the text. Yeah.. It was very difficult. I searched for about an hour.  Why can't the creators put a link to the main page? I guess it isn`t something that people pay attention to too often, honestly. For most people just the White Paper is enough. |

As far as I remember, it`s development started in 2012-2013. |

As for advertising, I completely agree! This is almost inexhaustible source of income. Many still underestimate this. I think Boat Pilot is a great way to advertise. And it gives a chance for a good payback and income. The targeted audience seems a bit limited, but it`s compensated by the fact that the chosen market is one of the fast-growing ones. |

I`m sceptical, it may be just a regular tablet with BoatPilot on it. Hopefully it`s not the case, but still. I agree. I think the creators would say it officially on their website or on Facebook. In any case, I looked for information in official sources, and found nothing. Yep, only one photo is up there on the site. |

It seems to me that the developers do not spend much time on their Navy token, but have gone deeper into the functionality and design of the application. It could have bad consequences. Do you think I'm right?
Seems like you`re right. But remember, NAVY is a utility token with functionality tied to Pocket Skipper. Once it`s released it will have much more volatility and usage. |

Why did you choose BoatGod and not some other system?
Technically nobody chose BoatGod, it is just a hardware component You are speaking about BoatPilot for sure. But to the point: I believe in future this project will be a huge one. Even if token fails, it has great potential just as a marine navigator - its user orientation and unique features give it an opportunity to find its niche in the market. |

I have such a question .. What do you think, if I don`t have a BoatGod, but i have a BoatPilot app, and I report any geodata, I will receive Navy bonus tokens for providing information?
I think you will be able to receive Navy tokens. After all, you bring useful information to the boatpilot project, which must be paid. I found the information that without the BoatGod you will not get Navy tokens!! I think this is done on purpose so that people also buy a BoatGod. Yes and no. I think it`s easier from hardware point of view: you make a separate module instead of overloading your main device. |

Or maybe just some Internet event, some Q&A session - that would be nice, interaction with the community is always a great thing. I absolutely agree. The project lacks more promotional activities. I would be interested to attend such an event. Moreover, they need to advertise themselves better. Marketing, it all comes down to this. With more promotion the token price will also go up for sure. |

It seems to me that most likely you will need special glasses that will fit the application, so you will not be able to connect your glasses. I think there will be no problems with compatibility of the gear you are using. The same as with the tablet, BP specialized equipment will just be more convenient to use. |

Why should it be high? I don`t think it will be any different from regular tablets in terms of hardware. I don`t quite understand why we need some kind of special tablet. It seems to me that the iPad will be ideal for this purpose. You see, you`ll have to look for a tablet is you don`t have any at the moment - while in boxed version it goes in one package. Just for the sake of convenience, technically any device is suitable. |

Yes, it is really convenient!We get the ability to control devices included in the on-board network: for example, autopilot, engine, onboard lighting, media system, etc. Thanks to this, the skipper can monitor the condition of all systems of the vessel, as well as manage them. So BP basically brings all necessary information to one screen? That`s great, but I think it requires rather powerful tablet to be able to control all those devices without any lags. Aren`t they going to release their own tablet configured only for Boat Pilot? |
