Manchester United should do their best to keep Rashford in the team. I don't think Rashford aims to leave the team now. Surely he would like to listen to a new contract offer by his current team first. Erik ten Hag also made a statement like the team were preparing a deal for him. As he is about to have six months left in his contract, they had better hurry.

PSG have been the most rumoured team with him indeed. However this would be a big mistake for Rashford actually as long as PSG have the same trio for a long time. There is no way he is finding a place for himself in the starting eleven there. It is much better for him to stay here in that case.

Dortmund might have a really big difficulty in retaining the second spot in the standings this season. I don't even talk about their leadership possibility because there is no way either Dortmund or the rest of the teams can catch up with Bayern Munich that easy. Dortmund have really tough opponents in top 4. Their form so far hasn't been impressive honestly.

They lost like the half of their games in the league so far. They have been competing in the Champions League as well on one hand maybe. But they should still be able to keep two tournaments balanced to have a decent season.

I think the Argentina - Croatia game is really likely to end up with penalties. Croatia seem to have the strength to have another similar game to the Brazil one. Brazil were also a very powerful attacking team but they had big problems on dealing with Croatia defense and their goalkeeper at the same time. Livakovic was even the man of the match.

Argentina will need to play a very effective game in attacking. They need to be as precise as possible to break the lock of the game early. The more time they don't get ahead the better for Croatia to keep the game balanced.

Giroud has already been an important part of Milan for a long time. He played a really critical role in some of their games so far as well. His World Cup performance is also very valuable because this is helping him become a more valuable player on one hand. He is getting quite old maybe but the quality is still staying the same.

I think he is already a serious candidate for Milan's starting eleven in the rest of the season. I mean of course they give him chances but he should be getting more playing time thanks to this very impressive effort.

Neuer's absence would be a big hit to Bayern Munich actually. Maybe his absence wouldn't change much thing in the Bundesliga. But I don't think the same when it comes to the Champions League. Because they are already going to face one of the biggest title contenders like PSG. They need to stay as strong as possible in defense just as offense. PSG have the best trio in the world in their attacking line. They wouldn't forgive weaknesses in Bayern Munich defense that easy.

Mane is also a candidate to miss the first leg at least. It feels like PSG are becoming more favourite slowly.

Yusuf Demir has been giving really interesting interviews since he came to Galatasaray.  Grin  He wants to be clear about his every answer maybe but we see some funny statements in the meantime. This attitude might seem annoying for many people actually. But as long as he makes a big effort in the official matches there is no problem.

He was a really promising player before. Barcelona's interest wasn't in vain. However I don't know if he still is now. Otherwise I don't think he would have continued to play for Rapid Wien after his loan time at Barcelona. There is no big team interested in him for now as it seems. But he can still impress such teams by showing a high level performance this season.

It was really another big disappointment for England supporters. After 56 years they were closing in on the title slowly here. But they couldn't get past the France obstacle. England could have prevented the game from ending in 90 minutes as well. However the penalty Kane missed cost them this. I wish Rashford used that last chance free-kick more effectively like a passing organization.

I was expecting that kind of an organization actually after seeing how it worked against Argentina by Netherlands before. But he decided to take that huge responsibility and failed. His shot wasn't bad maybe but here we are.

Manchester United are pushing for Gakpo transfer to make their attacking line more active and capable. They have been struggling with some issues there for some time. They need to stay as productive as possible to make their goal come true in this season. Qualifying for the Champions League is really important for them.

Manchester United are a big team and they don't deserve to struggle this much. They already have great players to be successful in the league. While some big teams are having bad days this is just an opportunity for Manchester United to take advantage of.
Manchester United have indeed planned a lot of changes in the upcoming transfer market, it depends on how they will face obstacles or not. Because most of the players they are after are also players that other big clubs are after. Cody Gakpo, for example, apart from Manchester United, Liverpool are also reportedly eyeing this player.
Manchester United needs a lot of changes to restore the title of a feared club in the Premier League. Erik Ten Hag has taken steps that are expected to quickly make Manchester United even stronger. I actually didn't think Manchester United would be that fast in doing it, considering that now many Premier League clubs have also improved very significantly.

Not only Liverpool actually. I have heard of Real Madrid's interest in him as well. If Real Madrid intervene this agreement then Manchester United wouldn't stand much chance I'm afraid. Manchester United's condition in the recent years is a big hindrance for them to sign top players when more successful teams enter the race with them.

Manchester United need to improve their performance this season somehow. The current level wouldn't be enough for top 4 I think. It depends on increasing their goal productivity especially.

Aston Villa are still going for big transfers maybe but it doesn't mean anything unless they improve their form in the league. We still see them being only five points above the relegation area. Coutinho's being signed should have made them much more productive. But the current look of the team is not good at all.

They have serious problems in defense as well. I think their priority in transfers in January should be defenders.

I also don't expect Pogba to perform impressively from now on. Because he has got injured so many times recently and all of them have lasted really long. He is still injured now as well. Juventus must be really regretting for having him back in the team after some years. They at least signed him on a free transfer.

If Pogba wasn't an injury-prone player he would be really helpful for Juventus in the midfield now. They have been doing good in the Serie A for many weeks though but Pogba's presence would make the midfield more credible.

Ronaldo's presence on the field has changed something in Portugal's attacking line obviously. He is the leader of this team above all else so it is good for the manager to have him in the game before it is too late. Ramos and Ronaldo both are playing now actually. They are just making all of their offensive moves to make a comeback.

Morocco have been really successful about defending them so far. Sometimes Portugal found crucial chances but couldn't take advantage of them. Fernandes wasted a huge chance a few minutes ago for example. I hope Portugal will score the equalizer as soon as possible.

14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 09, 2022, 06:28:39 PM
Atletico Madrid are just a team waiting to be saved now. I respect Simeone's great work with them in the past. But it is obvious that his tactics don't work anymore. His game plan is solved by many teams. We have witnessed a great example of it in the Champions League this season. They just finished the group as the last.

Things aren't very well in the La Liga either. As long as they are out of the title race with a great squad like this, things are just bad for them. Simeone should make changes or just leave his job to a different manager.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 09, 2022, 06:23:28 PM
Napoli are a promising team in the Champions League as well. They only need to keep the same motivation after the return of this break. In that case they can have one of their most successful seasons in the Champions League as well. Frankfurt is an easy target for them of course. I don't expect any surprises.

But by the quarter finals, things are going to get really serious. They are most likely to have a draw against big title contenders. If they somehow get a lucky draw then they can reach semi finals easily. The luckiest one would be the winner of Milan - Tottenham or Club Brugge - Benfica matchups.

It is a really big shock for Brazil. Nearly everyone was favouring Brazil to eliminate Croatia. I was even waiting for them to do so in 90 minutes. But Croatia defense was just too good to prevent them from scoring a goal. Brazil's goal which came in extra time seemed like the finishing blow but Croatia somehow found the equalizer in the last minutes.

I was worried about penalties as Croatia were full of experienced players. They really did it through penalties. Livakovic was amazing today and he was great in penalties as well by saving one.

For now it seems like Mane is enough for Bayern Munich. Because while Mane is performing impressively Choupo-Moting is also able to show the expected performance. Choupo-Moting is doing even better than the expected because he is very productive as for scoring these days. Maybe the reason why Bayern Munich don't want to sign another striker yet is this now.

As a result I think they won't sign a top striker in January and they will just wait for next summer. They have already started to score so many goals in a game just like in the old times.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 08, 2022, 05:45:31 PM
Messi, Neymar and Mbappe all are still continuing in the World Cup which must be worrying news for PSG. Because even if one this great trio gets a serious injury then they might have a really big problem against Bayern Munich. PSG have got a very tough draw in last 16 round already. I assume they were hoping to face a weaker team. Now it is more important for them to keep their best players healthy.

Especially Neymar is very injury-prone. He already got an injury too as you know but he is good now. If he gets another one then it might be more serious. Because we are in the later stages of the World Cup and teams would try to defend their opponents harder then before.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 08, 2022, 05:41:14 PM
I started to believe in England to eliminate France one way or another. Especially if they manage to carry this game to extra time it would be in favour of them. Because I expect France to try to keep the most ball possession from the beginning of the game. England might let them do it until a point. England should just look for opportunities with fast attacks.

They have just the players to take advantage of that kind of attacks. I hope Kane continues to score as well after scoring his first goal in the World Cup against Senegal finally. His performance can also play a big role for a win.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 07, 2022, 04:46:28 PM
Real Madrid seemed weaker than Barcelona against smaller teams in the recent games of the season. However this is still not a proof for anything of course. Real Madrid are still only two points behind them and they can easily fix these bad results after the start of the second half of the season. Benzema's return from his injury will be a big improvement for them as well.

I don't know if Real Madrid need any transfer in January. They already have a squad whose quality is enough for reaching their goals in this season.
