I don't think there is anything wrong with being at least a little worried about AI. It has great potential, but there is also great danger. Many scientists are worried about the possible sentience of AI.

Can you sign a message from a staked address?
Hello, Vod, I see that you asked someone if they could sign a message from a staked address to try to prove they are the owner of their old account. Please forgive my ignorance, but I'm not sure what the process is to do this. Is this some kind of PGP signed message using an email client? I'm still unclear on what to do. Again, I apologize for the ignorant question, but if you could explain it to me, it would be most appreciated. It looks like Agruw may benefit from this as well. Thanks. Questions are not ignorant - they actually destroy ignorance. First of all, did you write any bitcoin address in any of your old posts or PMs? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0This will help you learn how to sign. Good luck. http://support.vaultoro.com/knowledgebase/articles/536758-how-do-i-sign-a-message-with-my-bitcoin-walletVod, I never had any bitcoin address in my profile or any of my posts before. Does this mean I can't recover my original account? Agruw, my apologies. I didn't mean to derail your thread.

I mentioned firefighters and police previously, but I should also have mentioned those in the armed forces that are protecting us. Many of them have served in some pretty undesirable and dangerous places. I've been to a couple myself. Luckily, my military career was mostly spent stateside. Thank you to all the military folks out there keeping us safe, and happy Veteran's Day to you.

Wow, a lot of accounts got hacked! You can add me to that list too. My original account (axel2078) got hacked in October of this year. Unfortunately, I was using a simple password and hadn't changed my password in a while and someone managed to crack it and immediately removed my password recovery email address. Now, that person continues to post as me like nothing ever happened. Very aggravating. This was my original post about it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5050230.msg46890037#msg46890037I PM'ed the mods per the instructions I was given, but haven't heard back yet. I know they are busy, but I'm hopeful that I'll eventually get my account back. You know, it wouldn't bother me so much if someone had cracked my password and then somehow deleted the account altogether. What really bothers me is that they are STILL posting as me, while enjoying my Full Member status and pumping their signature campaign.

Have you tried contacting Bitcointalk moderation and telling them your problem?
I'm not sure if that was addressed to me or. the OP, but I did try contacting the mods, per their instructions, but heard nothing back. This is the link that one of them pointed me to when I first reported it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

I don't know if Bitcoin will be the crypto currency of the future, but it certainly did pave the way for whatever will be. They all get their roots from the OG, which is Bitcoin.

I was thinking of buying bitcoins via Bitcoin ATM. Is that process safe?? Is there escrow involved??? What is the procedure for a trade? What are your experiences (good and bad) Where have you seen one of these things? I'm in the metro east area and I've never seen one. I don't know if I trust them enough to use. them anyway, but I've still never seen one.

As others have stated, be wary of online wallets. I have a hard wallet and a mobile wallet. Long term saving goes in the hard wallet. Small amounts used for spending go in the mobile wallet. You may do as you wish though.

Codecademy is a good suggestion. Udemy is decent too. Either of the two would be my go-to for newbies.
Oh, great point! I forgot about Udemy. I use a lot of their Cisco training videos, but. they have lots of programming ones too.

The same exact thing happened to me back in October. My original account (axel2078) was also stolen. I have appealed to the mods to restore my access, but I haven't heard anything back. I guess I have to start over from square one. Very frustrating that someone stole my account and is carrying on as me like nothing ever happened.
I left negative trust for your hijacked account. Contact me if you recover it and I'll remove it. Thank you! I really appreciate that.

Never have and never plan to. If could, it would send my career right down the drain. Not worth it.

Apple already confirmed that they are dropping Intel. They are going back to manufacturing their own chips because the chips in their newest mobile devices are outperforming the Intel Chipsets in much bigger devices. Intel is stagnating and Apple isn't waiting for them to catch up.

Happy one year at bitcointalk! Unfortunately for me, my account was stolen about 2 months ago, so now I have to start all over again. *sigh*. Anyway, congrats on making this milestone! Hang around here. There is a lot to learn!

I don't know where this is coming from because I can still see that there are facebook campaigns that are listed with the bounty campaigns and there are a lot of people that are still participating in them. I know there was news of facebook banning crypto ads but I don't think that they banned people from being able to promote coins from their own pages
In early 2018 facebook has announced that it will ban all cryptocurrency ads. But it did not happen so now you can still see the bounty hunter joining the facebook campaign Hey there, axel2078. I'm still waiting for an answer on why you hijacked my account and are still carrying on as if you were me. Not cool at all.

I have a few Bitcoin books to recommend if you are interested, but these are primarily for those just getting into crypto currency. I got the kindle editions on Amazon. Here they are:
The Internet of Money by Andreas Antonopoulos Bitcoin Revolution: Ending Tyranny for Fun & Profit by Jarred Dennis & Max Wright Bitcoin Explained Simply by Mark Jeffrey
