no-ice-please was an account I had for a while and have not used for a while. Somebody else got the password I guess and hijacked the account. They deleted and/or changed some of my posts. The last post that was made by me was https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1780039 which included the statement that I was no longer going to use that account. The hijacker deleted that and changed the original post. Please give that account a bad trust rating if you have a longstanding account. ~ add Here is an easy way for somebody to earn at least 1 ltc. I am going to drop the lost profile issue and return to the Esar Met issue and offer a bounty for the trial transcript. If somebody gets the trial transcript from the Esar Met case, I'll pay a) 1 ltc or usd50, whichever is greater, in addition to b) their expenses in getting the transcript which can be up to 2 ltc or usd100, whichever is lesser. The first part of the bounty will increase by 1 ltc/usd50 every week, 7 days by the timestamp on this forum, for every week that nobody pursues it. The bounty will be removed if it is not accepted within 5 weeks, which is 5ltc usd250 min for the first part, the second part of the bounty won't change. A person interested should first post their intent, to lock the bounty up and ensure somebody else isn't counting on the same bounty. Once you post your intent you have a few weeks to produce some proof of advancement in your efforts, or the transcript itself, or the bounty is open to anybody else. There can only be one person in line to claim the bounty at a time, since my finances are ok but not great. After you have posted proof that you have the transcript I'll pay half the bounty and the other half once it is posted. It should be posted on a public file transfer site in .zip format and downloadable from anywhere. I obtained the initial documents, including the confession tapes legally, by submitting paperwork, and the transcript should be obtained the same way, and you could post a statement along with the transcript specifying that you obtained it through paperwork. But as long as the transcript is verifiable and complete the bounty will be paid as long as I am able to pay it. Additional documents in that case, including specifically what happened to all the material that was sent to the fbi, are also bountyable as long as they are obtained reasonably legally. A person can specify a document type and reasonable cost and it either works or it doesn't. I specifically am not pursuing the paperwork route because I have probably annoyed the paperwork people by putting the other material online.

The same exact thing happened to me back in October. My original account (axel2078) was also stolen. I have appealed to the mods to restore my access, but I haven't heard anything back. I guess I have to start over from square one. Very frustrating that someone stole my account and is carrying on as me like nothing ever happened.

I left negative trust for your hijacked account. Contact me if you recover it and I'll remove it.

Have you tried contacting Bitcointalk moderation and telling them your problem?
I'm not sure if that was addressed to me or. the OP, but I did try contacting the mods, per their instructions, but heard nothing back. This is the link that one of them pointed me to when I first reported it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

I never figured out how to sign messages or pgp keys or whatever, but I can prove the account was mine many ways/ add though I did pay a lot of hbn bounties and would still have the keys for those wallets somewhere. Some of them may have been sent from Cryptsy though. I did once pay a bounty to somebody who became a mod here, Hilarious&co though I don't remember if the bounty was from no-ice-please 1) Mods can check that all the ip addresses on accounts I used were from Alaska up to about Feb 2014, then from the big island. 2) I am probably the only person on the planet that tried to get a fair shake for Esar Met, a Burmese accused of a horrendous crime. You can go to any profile online, Liveleak, YouTube, Websleuths, trying to help that guy. I can log in and respond from those profiles still, but have no control over the no ice please profile. 3) There are a few specific coins I've liked over the years, and have posted on their various threads as no ice please and also using other profiles when I forgot a password or just felt like using a new account. You can go to the Huntercoin, hbn, namecoin, gapcoin etc threads and any other threads no ice please posted on pre hack and I have comments on those threads under other aliases. I never posted anything positive on shitcoins like doge that the hijacker supports. I only noticed the account was hijacked because yesterday I posted a comment on the websleuths site about something I noticed regarding a photo from the Esar Met case, then I went to look back at an old post on bitcointalk and saw my old profile was active even though I was not using it. It isn;t a big deal but it's annoying that somebody would do that shit. add I also have additional material from the Esar Met case, police documents, purchased legally, that the hijacker does not have. I posted some of the documents online, but I have more that has not been posted and can fish around for those but it would be a while before I could find them. They would have the same timestamps and other attributes as other documents from that series such as http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=28tgz9f&s=9#.W-mlLfZFzIU and I also can be verified by the Rohingyas who did the various translations, one a Burmese girl in Burma, the other a stateless guy in Delhi. add2 Anyway, obviously not important enough to put any effort into, just annoying. I'll drop it and just ask mods to cancel or deactivate that account if they would. I'll try to go through other old accounts I haven't used in years and see if those are hijacked too. I might have created no-ice-please with a disposable email that I can't access anymore, so partly my fault if that's the case.

Can you sign a message from a staked address?
Hello, Vod, I see that you asked someone if they could sign a message from a staked address to try to prove they are the owner of their old account. Please forgive my ignorance, but I'm not sure what the process is to do this. Is this some kind of PGP signed message using an email client? I'm still unclear on what to do. Again, I apologize for the ignorant question, but if you could explain it to me, it would be most appreciated. It looks like Agruw may benefit from this as well. Thanks.

... Questions are not ignorant - they actually destroy ignorance.
...
Never heard that articulated so well Somebody should print that on a Christmas card then strap it on a bomb and send it somewhere. ~ ... what is hijacked account?
Hijacking means taking control of something in a way that is inappropriate to somebody else. In the 70s and 80s young people used to grow beards, rob banks, then hijack a plane to Cuba and pretend they were revolutionaries. D. B. Cooper refined that, successfully, but ultimately ended up where everybody ends up. Hijacking an account can involve buying the password, getting it from somebody, hacking or other ways. It is a trivial issue in this case, hijacking an online account, but it forces a person to waste time and effort on the stupidity of having to protect their accounts from that kind of stuff. ~ add Here is an easy way for somebody to earn at least 1 ltc. There are lots of unanswered questions in this case, and I'll pay bounties to anybody who answeres any of the questions to my satisfaction.
First question I'll pay 1/4 ltc for
Why would the murderer stage the crime to look as if a rape had occurred? Are there any cases in the country where all involved are from that might explain it?
The body had a severe injury that seems to have involved being stabbed or "raped" with an object. The first impression of police seems to have been that the child was stabbed with a towel holder, which was not recovered. This information was never made public.
The two possibilities that seem most likely are either a) the killer used the object as a substitute sexual object or b) the killer wanted to give the appearance of a sexual assault.
The bounty will be paid to the first person who produces and answer that clarifies things substantially in any direction, meaning facts that are facts, regardless who they indicate might be guilty or innocent. It's my own determination, for the sake of the bounty, which answer does that best, regardless who agrees.
If this question is answered to the point that it warrants a bounty I'll post a second bounty question.

I just got this message from the no ice please profile Hi Agruw,
just saw your posts. I am quite sure you were the one selling the account to me. I paid you a good amount of money. You said you don't need the account anymore and so on and so forth. You even confirm in one post now that you left this account more or less behind for whatever reason. You didn't reach out to me via pm, never said a word and it made total sense I bought this from you. Now you assert this is your account, awesome... It is either well played by you or true what you are saying in so far as you claim the account has been "hijacked". I haven't hijacked this or anything and you probably know it... I paid you roughly $400 for this and now after several months you post that stuff about this account all over the forum without saying a word for so long.
What is the quintessence now? You spam this forum with your claim that this account has been hijacked if I don't give it back to you? In earnest, this feels like parody and kind of unfair...
and answered Continue the discussion on the thread. I'll post this message. If you can show that you paid somebody for the account then I'll post negative feedback on their profile.
So it's possible the account was hijacked by somebody else and bought by the person who was using it. If somebody dealt with the person whon bought the account then they might have bought it thinking that I had sold it, which I did not.

Here is an idea. I don't want to make private deals with somebody who I have reason not to trust, but publicly I will make the following
1) If the person gets the trial transcript for the Utah case and posts the full transcript and I can verify somehow that it is complete and legitimate then
2) I'll change the negative trust on that account to neutral but leave on the fact that the account changed hands. 3) I'll pay the person the bounty listed on this thread i.e., all the expenses to get the transcript, plus the bounty.
~
My profiles do not ever have high credibility and for long term use a person might think about just creating their own profile.
I do not buy or sell profiles and if somebody ever offered to buy a profile from me I would suggest them to just create their own. I've created a shitload of profiles. When one has annoyed too many people I stop using it, try to improve my attitude and create a new one.
If somebody is trying to make money online there are lots of ways to do that with your own profile. When I created the no ice profile I was homeless and working faucets and airdrops. There are still plenty of those.
~
I'll check this thread if the new no ice, or anybody else, wants to try and get the transcript, search on google how to get a transcript in Utah and find out what the costs are. I might pay the initial paperwork fee upfront if it's low. I've always paid the bounties I said I was going to pay.
add I'm sorry if I come across as an asshole. If somebody is using an account without the knowledge of the account owner then my first guess is they hijacked it somehow. In this case I honestly don't know if the person bought it from somebody who claimed they were me.

If anybody, including the person who has control of the no ice account, finds some conclusive proof that Esar Met is either guilty or innocent I'll pay a fair bounty too. All of the evidence I've seen shows him to be not guilty, and there are indications of who is guilty, but if somebody finds conclusive evidence of guilt or innocence I'll bounty that high.
To restate the evidence that most people thought indicated guilt
a) The body was found in his shower ... but the roommates and others had access to the shower
b) There was a confession ... but the confession looks like a coerced false confession. He tries to give a "true" confession but he does not know the facts of the case and there are significant other problems with the confession too.
c) There was dna evidence ... but the dna evidence that the prosecutor presented to the jury was very different than the dna evidence returned by the lab, which did not indicate what the prosecutor claimed.
d) There were four blood stains on the back of his jacket ... but when his jacket was initially tested, all the blood stains were his, from the beating he got when he was arrested. Further the bloodstains supposedly on his jacket contradict physics.
e) He agreed to plead guilty when he was privately interviewed by his lawyer ... but once they got him to the courthouse he began yelling that he was innocent, so they accused him of being disruptive and kept him in jail several more years trying to get him to plead guilty. They claimed they could not find an interpreter.
f) There were people from the Burmese community that gave conflicting statements about events ... but early on, when people in that community spoke to reporters the judge put a gag order on the case and forbade anybody involved in the case from speaking to reporters.
g) The roommates were portrayed as innocent goodguys ... but they were all evicted from the apartment soon after and were known for partying. The accused did not drink with them.
There are a lot of additional small indications that he is not the person who killed the child.

I just saw this article https://news.bitcoin.com/a-brief-introduction-to-voluntaryism-for-crypto-neophytes/ which has the symbol that was on the hijacked account. I don't support taking people's accounts, but in this case I changed the feedback on that account to neutral since I generally support the philosophy behind that symbol and no harm was done. If somebody needs an account then just create one. If a person wants to take somebody's account that is not being used then they should at least be decent enough to ask, but no harm done in this case. The bounties on the case I posted stand for 3 more weeks. If nobody takes them they expire. The end.
