2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to run an Anarchy on: June 25, 2011, 04:42:10 AM
IMO it depends on what your running before the anarchy.

If you run a capitalist OS it'd be difficult to maintain lawlessness because of, yes, all that organized crime that comes with it, black markets ect. Those people like rules, rules create markets, markets create boundaries. Just like governments they occupy territory with street soldiers and killers in reserve. Claiming land as their own. Buying land with bodies.

To run an anarchy properly, you need community. Thb you may even need structure at some point, but as long as it remains a decentralized localized collective authority I consider it lawlessness as no one explicitly stated making laws was against the rules of anarchy. Not everyone will choose to abide by these laws and that's why you need community to make these people feel alienated and push them out of the community like a child from a mother's womb. Rejecting those who would be better suited elsewhere. In other communities. Alternatively a loosely affiliated nomadic lifestyle of people roaming, not having any guidelines to follow at all. Free to join as soon as you step away from the clusters of humanity. Until you find you're own little place to carve out that is.

Certainly violence would be a problem, but when is it not?

The point of a strong community would primarily be to retaliate against thieves and strengthen the bonds held by the neighborhood. Effectively enabling the protection (say of women and children) without paying the taxation. Indeed social connection is the a most powerful tool of the people.
Crime would likely be targeted at people who have done something to provoke a grudge if you can wrap your head around that. Generally by the people who cannot be persuaded to live any other way. These people would likely run into trouble more often than others. Putting their lives at risk and potentially causing fatal incidents to occur at a higher rate than say a person raising livestock(doing anything else). Think wild wild west without the need for a sheriff. A self sustaining system of crime and punishment without the need for taxation or military.

No less is desirable. Anarchy is not crime. Anarchy allows crime to work itself out. Which I believe it does. Criminals reproduce with criminals then the criminals keep crime in the family. Then the family has a significantly reduced chance at surviving than a normal family. Seeing as that family has a lot of criminal opponents. People die. Only the strongest remain to profit.

Then only the fittest people, those who refuse to be victimized by the thieves, extortionists, thugs are strong enough to survive the onslaught of fraudsters, scammers with their lively-hoods intact.

Which is where community comes in again. Those willing to work together, like organized criminals, will always get ahead of the rugged individual. Which is why the concept of anarchy as this sort of free for all every man for himself scenario will never work. Because it is already implemented. It's been labeled the free market economy. Fraudsters paradise built of the blood of the innocent. Where cheap drugs and insurance policy reigns over government. The prisons make more money than the artists because of all the return costumers.

The issue is race primarily. You see race interferes with community. Racism causes people to behave strangely and often we have seen nations formed more on genetic (alt. religious) guidelines than physical boundaries. Perceived racial superiority driving one race to ban together to subjugate another. As a unified people or perhaps it just happens by chance, regardless it happens.....a lot. It seems conquering the deep seated race hatred programmed into the administration, prison system and law enforcement agencies is the only viable chance we have at achieving a state of global self perpetuating anarchy.

Anarchy in the modern day. Say in America would be very violent because of the sadism perpetuated by our culture. The hypocrisy and already considerably violent media (socialization) is a bad combo for lawlessness. Oh and then there's all the guns. It would be difficult because our community is shattered and fragmented like our environment. The social atmosphere can be suffocating and it really doesn't inspire what I would call a sense of strong community. Given the loose bonds of trust and overbearing paranoia, yes a lot of people would die if we just up and got rid of all forms of ruling class organization. Eh....

I especially hate it when the police officer tells me I'm driving my car to fast, what does he know?

Yeah fuck that shit.
3  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin forum is terrible on: June 25, 2011, 03:45:17 AM
I agree with OP most threads on bitforum make no sense what so ever!

It's like the more sense threads try to make, the less other people can comprehend the point they try to convey.  Grin

Take that truthers, more lies with your complimentary pudding pops?

Donate to my charitable cause or die vehemently!

Other than that post the location and time you witnessed your first [anything]. Certainly that will fix the global war-ming dynasty.

More like die nasty. Punks. Get me a beverage  Cool

Below we discuss about current events, such as, like well anything you'd like to post about really
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Your Political Perspective? on: June 18, 2011, 05:15:45 AM
I think the government mostly responds to the people.

If the people say kill and harass people browner than you....

...well it'd be sorta hard to argue with that now wouldn't it?
6  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoinvert.com - Dead Simple Bitcoin Currency Calculator on: June 18, 2011, 05:01:08 AM
Very nice
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Would Las Vegas still be like that in an ideal world? on: June 18, 2011, 04:44:00 AM
Ahahaahaha @ 'voluntary taxes'  Grin

As for op, that's sort of like asking:
Would the mob still know how to reel in the suckers in a world free of restrictions?

my guess would be yes!
they might even do it better!

of course vegas is more than a few gangsters now

I think there would be less suburbs...  Smiley
oh and the dancers wouldn't cost a dime

Edit: some people would definitely still be addicted to gambling
8  Other / Meta / Re: Kill the Politics forum on: June 18, 2011, 04:28:42 AM
Yea the politics forum was probably a mistake to add to a fledgling economic proving ground, but hey we all make mistakes. I think the site wouldn't be complete without some downright dirty free-speechering! It'd be hard not to be completely blindsided by the whirlwind of conflicted and contradictory statements generated by the postmodern american culture; anyone could get caught up init! For the most part though I think anyone who could consider putting their money in a place where trojans pose a bigger threat than bank robbers are more than capable of taking bitcoin seriously regardless of a few political musings. I'll admit it would be nice to see some diversity in op every once in a while. Maybe we should separate? See other people?

The political forum and everything else/

Would certainly make the whole movement seem more professional
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: African Economist: “For God’s Sake, Please Stop the Aid!” on: June 18, 2011, 04:12:47 AM
Yes, another case where throwing money at a problem won't solve it.

The money will generally end up in the hands of the people who need it the least because those are the people who the money attracts. The greedy.

The poverty remains, the people sell their dwindling resources for sustenance and the whole cycle is powered by home bred altruism. I'm with this guy to a point because while most of us would like to make up for the damage done to Africa by the world at large. This is not the way to do so. I for one think we should lay off.

Some countries actually bar the importing of foodstuffs as aid because it screws up the local food economy creating more poverty. Really terrible ideas and while people starve without this free food. We shouldn't be creating more hungry people by handing out free meals.

That's just asking for dependents...
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Please, stop having children. (Discussion about overpopulation) on: June 17, 2011, 02:47:24 AM
genetic advances are making crops highly efficient.

HAaaa

IMO suicide should be a basic human right because, let's face it no one wants to live on a planet full of jerks garbage and radioactive waste. Fapping themselves to sleep every night while the people causing the serious, widespread, immediately life threatening problems that affect the entire planet's population get to fly around in aeroplanes. Fucking up the atmosphere even more. That's just downright lame.

In other words if you'd like to escape this shit hole via suicide you deserve a voice in the matter. Instead of being force fed a steady stream of propaganda by family members, social media platforms, and educators [spiritual or otherwise].

On the other hand I don't think you should kill yourself just because we have a burgeoning population and some people told you to do so on the internet.

Also I can confirm, lower birth rates have been correlated to education for women.

So if you really want Africa to stop producing lots of kids, stabilizing the continent, stopping the rape, and setting up schools and hospitals like our Multinational corporation have been promising we'd do for generations now, would be a top priority. Seeing as you don't care, Basiley, and would like to pick more fights we can't win I suggest you stfu
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: There is no such thing as poverty, folks. on: June 17, 2011, 02:20:37 AM
Didn't read op, not going to read your reply in the other thread.

Simply posting to tell you that while ignorance may or may not be bliss.

Poverty kills people. Every. Single. Day.

Sure, the cause of death : poverty. it isn't, but old age isn't real as well

coincidentally the people with more money surrounded by people with higher economic standing live longer

...

Unlike the child prostitutes in your area

they won't live very long that's practically a guarantee

nothing personal <3
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why mining Coins or buying hardware from China is supporting murderers.. on: June 17, 2011, 02:14:54 AM
I guess you could say because the Chinese are somewhat intelligent and kill fetuses that would eventually contribute to the downfall of their own society you could say that buying anything from wal-mart or similar corporation would be like aborting your neighbor's unborn child, forcefully, with a coat hanger.

We don't walk around the internet saying things such as this because in internet lands everything is nice. The electricity comes from the wall and the computers come from Asia. It's all happy sunshine in internet!
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sweatshops in a realistic light. on: June 17, 2011, 02:08:49 AM
Anyone who can be bothered to say that people working in sweatshops would like to be doin so or enjoy it, has never worked a fucking day in their entire life. that is all

16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The 1 thing we NEED to do in order to make Bitcoin more popular on: June 17, 2011, 12:57:54 AM
When I read the thread name I was thinking....

Get hard drives, shaped like coins, designed for the specific purpose of running bitcoin. Storing your wallet, keys and connecting to the network. Checking your balance and transfers. Then mass distribute for bitcoins

That way you make all the transactions via computer and you have all your sensitive info on a separate machine. Plus it would be portable enough to take with you eg. not leave lying around the house to be stolen.

EDIT: Alternatively they could run linuxcoin.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie restrictions on: June 16, 2011, 02:54:09 AM
You're right now that I've got six this seems less restrictive
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Leaked - One of the items on this year's Bilderberg Group agenda is Bitcoins. on: June 16, 2011, 02:46:14 AM
At least the trilateral commission is still busy enough not to care
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC Concept & Mining = waste + rich founders. [Proposal: use charity] on: June 16, 2011, 02:33:28 AM
Well I like your ideas, but you forget that this is community existing at all is a big step towards the currency you are imagining. I suggest you play along for a bit and see where this project goes. If the ship starts to sink PM me and I'll jump on your new currency, for profit, like the early responders did on this one  Cheesy

Sounds like you want a way to distribute the physical representation of currency through the internet with a means for verifying transactions using reliable third party intermediaries? If you think banks are gonna give up their rackets for charity work and cyber-currency you're dreaming harder than the people who dreamt this place up. Credit unions, maybe, but the idea I think here would be to get something set up so that you can actually walk up to a friend of yours and transmit him a bitcoin (w/e) in exchange for his old stuff, buying a pizza for you, the clothes off his back ect. Then when currency X is widely accepted and traded by people stores might start to ease into the idea and paperless transactions would eventually over take payment in cash and via previous credit scams. As it should.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What stage is BitCoin at on: June 16, 2011, 02:07:18 AM
Seems like if the competition can be held back this venture will be a positive and rewarding experience for all who can avoid being hacked .

From my perspective bitcoin is in it's developmental stage.

Waiting for the user friendliness to set in....
