Nice find! Personally, I like Crypthena a bit more because they actually allow you to review the resources.
They also write good blog posts like this one: https://crypthena.com/coinbase-pro-review/ .
You can find the original site here https://crypthena.com/.

Hope this helps  Wink

Its also not about find that one million dollar topic idear thats going to give you loads of merit. For me it was just about posting which I have been doing the last couple of weeks. Good luck on your journey.

4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Confusion about BCH hard fork and clear statement for newbie. on: November 15, 2018, 08:16:26 AM
wow i never realized that BCH is also changing! i only thought that they are forking the SV thing as a new protocol but with a little search it seems like they are also changing BCH. so technically speaking they can end up with 3 new chains for 3 different coins!
1. the old BCH
2. the new BCH with new rules
3. the SV fork
of course i doubt that #1 is going to exist but i am only mentioning possibilities.

ps. SV is increasing block size to 128 MB Cheesy

sadly this forum doesn't have any option for spoilers
Sadly, thanks for the answer brewmaster. Exciting times. Excuse me for asking a newbie question but is there any other reason besides trying to make more money of another coin to fork BCH ? Doesnt make any sense to me.

Its a comlete shitshow. Have you seen the candle on Bitmex ?
IMO the market is so full of manipulation now, its disgusting. A message to newbies stay the F away from Bitmex.
Just HODL dont trade short term if you dont know what you are doing because it will cost you your money.

PS. I know that this was not the purpose of your topic. Just wanted to warn them as I think its neccescary.

PS 2. Is there an option to put the image in a spoiler ? So its not huge and only appears when people click the spoiler.

7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Complete ICO guide 2018 on: November 14, 2018, 09:30:53 AM
I made an ICO pr guide update to 2019-2018 that cover all of the topics, really think can be a handful to all of who interesting in this field.

Press here for the full ICO pr Guide

I will be happy to get any notes or review on the guide, hope you enjoy it.
Im going to be honest, that article is super detailled and well written. So much good information, im definetly bookmarking it.
HOWEVER, I do think the super hero theme while its a fun idear does make it a bit chaotic. The images and everything take away from the pure information which is a shame.

I just invested in bitcoin a month ago, although I have not had any profit but I am very excited about this investment and I hope a lot in it.
I say this a lot but sound like the perfect time to get in  Grin. Definetly man. Why did you invest in the first place ?

ohh... we starting here by project AIDUS
This project officially named as the ‘AIDUS Global D-Fund Platform (ADFP)’, is decentralized platform business by establishing a ‘decentralized fund market platform’ in which the AIDUS Coin will serve as the main currency that would be used for the signing and redemption of various fund portfolios. The platform will connect global investors (the demand group for the asset management) with professional asset management companies, while it would supply the ‘Quant Trading System(QTS)’ to the asset management companies in order for them to create various high profit fund items, all aiming at truly revolutionizing and establishing a new ecosystem of global asset management market.
https://aidus.io/
Nice look ICO you got there. If you want I can list it on my website (for free). Are you the owner of AIDUS ?

I got into crypto last year. I heard friends talking about bitcoin at first, and then I tried to search information about bitcoin. The first came up after Google searching was bitcontalk forum, after that I started my real crypto journey. There are discussion about bitcoin and altcoins here. We share our experience and information here, that was how I develop my interest in crypto. Grin
Nice story BaoBao! So how are you liking everything so far ? Are you still invested in Bitcoin ? Or just Altcoins.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How and when did you get into Crypto ? on: November 05, 2018, 09:13:25 AM
from beginning i knew only about bitcoin  and i started working in bitcoin company and from there i got interest in crypto
How did you get to know about Bitcoin ? And what company are you working if I may ask.

Yes. I also knew about bitcoin from a forum too, I didn't actually put more attention to bitcoin until its price reached $1000. I returned back to the days of which the price were still $2 and got myself stunned thinking I could have got millions if I just saw the possibilities of it. I'm probably one of the huge guys with thousands of BTC if I just believe to the guys who knew the future. So I started to invest to  BTC while its $200 after it. Didn't buy much but yes I worked as early as 2014 to buy myself some BTC.
Damn you were one of the early birds then. Thats cool man, I still kick myself that I wasnt one of those. You know through life, you become sceptical of get rich quick schemes, that sometimes the real opportunities pass you by. Are you still in Bitcoin ? And did you manage to get your hands on many of them? Just curious you might want to be carefull telling people how much you are actually holding. Also are you still working or having an early retirement now.

I came to know cryptocurrencies abou the year 2015. I was browsing through a nigerian blog www.nairaland.com and I saw a thread titled earn bitcoin though a faucet. So i chatted the creator of the thread an we hooked up on whatsapp where he just gave me the basics of creating a coinbase wallet and earning bitcoin through a faucet where you roll every hour to earn little satoshi.
I was persistant on the site for 3months where i earned about $4 which i was very happy. I started making more research on cryptocurrencies, how was it created, why was it created and its usage. One of the mistakes i made that time was not buying Ethereum when it was $13
Very cool story! Are you still using the faucet? If so which one is it ? Hats of to you sir that you made it work for yourself Smiley.

2014 baby!  My buddy introduced me to it.  Bought my first three Bitcoins drunk hahha
lol, drunk descicions can be good ones aswell ey haha. You still HODLing ?

I got interested when I read about the crash and a long term bear market that followed. I started to watch Bitcoin, because people were saying that it's in such a long term decline that it's not going to achieve anything. When it woke up and reversed in 2016 my first thought was to try it out, buy some while it's cheap. It was a great decision. Been a holder ever since.
Nice man, you are one of few that actually see through the smokescreen and buy when its low. A lot of people get put off by the FUD and just decide its dead only to buy it at its ATH. What do you think about the bearmarket now ? Are we seeing another year or is it going to reverse ?

A few months ago, I met my old friend and he told me about this opportunity, initially I did not believe it but later I realized this was the opportunity for me to change my life.
I can take only one good choice that might change your life. I hope this one is yours buddy!

I heard about Bitcoin for years.    I think I even went to this forum long ago (never signed up).          I couldn't wrap my head around it and never took the time to really learn and figure it all out.          Fast forward about a year and half ago -  I heard Mark Cuban was getting on board with some start up blockchain thing,  Bitcoin was up in the thousands and I thought okay,  I really need to figure out what this is about - there are too many people making a ton of money here.

So I invested like 6 months too late, lol.    Shortly after the big China FUD happened and everything was down.     Eventually we hit the massive bull run in Dec and I felt like a genius.    Now everything is worth so so much less -  but I'm not down any money.       So now it has become a waiting game.   I'm in it until this goes to zero or I can be one of the ones that "made it"
Yeah im basicly at the same point. Or I go down with the ship or we set sail to new ATHs. Eather way im in it to win it. So what time did you actually get in ? You say after the big China FUD so I think around last year september than ?

My economic teacher took me here. He told me a lots this great world and I decide to learn about it. Not invest yet, i am still learning about cryptocurrency and will join soon.
He is a great mind to put you on this track. Always do your own research though. What are exactly still learning about ? And If I may give you one tip; check out https://crypthena.com/. It may help you find what you are looking for.

Damn, sorry guys, you are right. It was my cache.  Sad Apologies to Lauda. I send the message October 26th and I think she has modified it immediately. (without sending me a response so thats also why I thought it wasnt fixed)

If any mods are reading this, this topic can be closed.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Ranking requirement incorrect - Mods not responding. on: November 02, 2018, 10:58:11 AM
So I was reading up on some sticky's and I actually found some incorrect information; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689727.0
It says under:"What forum account levels are.'' that a Jr member need 30 activity but 0 Merit to become a Jr Member.
Now If I remember correctly it should be 30 activity and 1 Merit.

I think this information should be correct because newbies are continually confused about the requirements, incorrect information in sticky's isnt helping.

I PMed Lauda about this but unfortunately havent had a response yet, im sure she is busy but I do think this should be fixed rather sooner than later.
It would be appreciated if I Mod could take a look at this.  Smiley

I was looking for a new gaming GPU, when I saw something about Bitcoin mining and people getting a good income from using their GPU to mine virtual coins. I thought it was a scam, but I did some more information and I saw that it was not a scam.

I bought a GPU for gaming, but I never mined any coins with it, because the gaming took too much of my time. I later saw Bitcoin was more popular, so I bought some before the big boom to $1000 and I never looked back.  Grin

If I only knew what I know now, I would have mined those coins.  Sad

Lol thats awesome. You were so early too, gaming does add value to your life ey  Grin. What kind of games are you playing ? Also are you still holding BTC ? Or did you sell at the top ?
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How and when did you get into Crypto ? on: November 02, 2018, 09:48:31 AM
I get into crypto since early of January 2018, i learned and know about crypto things from news and post in Social Media, especially Facebook & Twitter.
Crypto is kinda famous and trending in my country, especially in this year.
Cool, which country is this ? I know in the Netherlands it took a while before it got more accepted. Must have been a rough year for you too with the market going this low. How are you holding up ?

It happened 2 years when I accidentally searching on how to make money online and bitcoin is the top that I have search. Thats the time when my bitcoin life started.
Haha did you actually earn money ? How is bitcoin life treating you now ?

I was hear about bitcoin when bitcoin made ath December 2017 because many news about it. And then i search at internet about it and asked my friend who joined early then me. March i was joined to crypto world learn about bitcoin and joined bitcointalk forum. From that i interested with trading at cryptocurrency until now and i can get small profit from this.
Thats cool, are you still making profit ? And are you like day trading then ?

I literally have no idea. I have a hunch that it was a suggested youtube video, because all I remember afterwards was trying to find videos with/of Jimmy Song (this was in June).
Lol nice one, you still following him ? he seems like a nice guy, watched some vids of his while working on my crypto directory. Definetely one of the more likeable youtubers. For example I dont like suppo that much as I feel like he shills too much. Are you into any other youtubers aswell ?

16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How and when did you get into Crypto ? on: November 01, 2018, 09:25:08 AM
One of the main reasons why I hate banks that they are become more and more greedy year by year. For example, in past they were paying interest to customers who keep money in bank account. Now customers have to pay monthly maintenance fees just to be able to keep money in bank account. I don't think it's normal. And they are have too much control over our money. They can close account for whatever reasons they want, for example if you get money from Bitcoin exchange
Now I don't have any exact goals. I'm not looking into far future too much - offcourse, it would be nice to earn enough money for retirement, but becoming crypto millionsire or billionaire seems to be too much ambitious. I'm thinking about about buying a house with my earnings from crypto. But I need few years to earn enough money, because real estate is expensive. Offcourse, rise of cryptos like we saw last year would help me Smiley
Yeah exactly, completely agree with the things you are saying about banking. Buying a house with Crypto seems like a reasonable enough goal! Definetly not the ''when lambo'' dream but a bit more realistic. No one knows what the future holds for us. A good bull run will help all of us  Grin. However the technology is definetly here to stay so whatever might come, if you believe in that, im convinced good things are ahead.

Yeap, he's still mining and earning. I think he has a private mining farm or something. Not much of a game plan at the moment. Just reading up and Googling up just to see how I could get back in the game. So, you're just HODLing at the moment?

Nice, good for him! You could use the new directory site Crypthena to get back in touch. Im using that site aswell as some paid signal services, however im not doing much with those because i dont have that much time to be actively trading all day. For now its just HODLing yes.

Previously I was with forex trading and one day one of my client told me about that and he told me we are planning to develop crypto forum so are you able to contribute for us? After that I told him yes and by this way I'm onto this...
Cool, so what do you like better ? Forex or Crypto ? Furthermore out of curiosity, did the forum thing work out ?

A friend of mine told me how he earned so much from this and all. I asked him to teach me as he teaches so many people about this. And here I am. Still learning.
How are things looking for you ? Are you earning in this bearmarket ? You have a nice friend there, should keep that one around Smiley.

18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: For writing a good article, some of my suggestions. on: October 26, 2018, 08:04:35 AM
Good points. Every newbie should definetly take a look at them. And yeah it might be better for some newbies to just post and contribute but I think we got some hidden gems(new users) aswell that are certainly capable of posting a good thread.

One if the things you already mention is keeping the thread active. Personally I aim to reply to every post in the thread I have made because first of all I think its the polite thing to do. How would you feel if you asked someones opinion/advice and he took the time to respond only to get ignored. Further to your points I think its a virtue if you can acknowledge the fact that you are not going to know it all. The thing is, even if you're the biggest Crypto Expert YOU know, there are going to be things you know very little about. And if someone asks im going to be honest and say:''I dont know.''. Instead of making up an answer and I think admitting to the world and yourself that you dont know is a virtue and not a lot of people do.
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: Red Dead Redemption 2 on: October 26, 2018, 07:17:11 AM
With the game releasing tomorrow, im hyped. Anyone here a fan of the genre ?

Yes, I'm a fan indeed 2! Cool
You playing yet ? Im still waiting for it to download.  Grin

Waiting for this game for two years, of course it will be cool.
I'm not a very strong fan of the series, but this game I follow as long as possible and hard
Man this is going to be a treat!

I can't wait to get my hands on this game too, on the XBOX ONE! Cool
Cool Cool Cool Cool Enjoy the game man!
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How and when did you get into Crypto ? on: October 26, 2018, 07:13:25 AM
Four years ago. It was easier to send bitcoin to a friend in china and fees were much less compared to paypal and other options.
Makes sense, your friend must be quite happy now with that payment ey  Roll Eyes

I remember that I wrote several times how I did get in crypto world. I don't want to repeat, but I can't find these old posts. This is only thing I found:
Basically, I was looking to ways how to make some extra cash online. And I found that I can earn money through Bitcoin. But it's not only thing. I was amazed by idea of Bitcoin - decentralized currency not controlled by banks and governments. I really wanted to get some independence from banks, because I hate banking system. I wanted to have full control of my money and get some privacy.
Yeah understandable, with such a big forum threads like these will be posted multiple times. Which in itself I dont see as a problem, like we are seeing new people such a myself register everyday. Its a thread we can talk about our experience without thinking:'' Oh shit is this going to be seen as a contribution or just random spam?''. Conversations like the people here are having, are what makes you part of the community and feel a bit more at home. However it might not look that usefull to older members because they have seen this topic a million times, its still nice for us newbies Smiley.

Anyway onto your story! So why do you hate the banking system besides the privacy and no controll part ? Is it something that happened to you or just you read up on it and knew it was a crap system so you hated it? Its a funny thing to see that a lot of people got into bitcoin to make some extra cash, we are an ambitious bunch, we humans. Hope it made things happen for you. Further to that, do you have any other goals now ? Like aiming for your retirement fund or just become a gazillionaire ?

Good question. I got into Crypto by looking for a way to donate to charities around the world. It's still tough to do, but there are lists of crypto accepting charities online, and the infrastructure around it is growing every day.
Alright thats the first story I heared about getting into Crypto to donate to charities. Very cool! Do you have any specific reason ? And what kind of charities you donate too ? Its something I think is very cool and at a later stage in my ''Crypto Carreer'' when my website community is a bit bigger, I want to do something with charity. Like maybe every advertisement sale goes 25% to charity or every donation to the website goes 25% to charity. Or do a charity live stream. T

My best friend told me about this interesting investment. at first, i didn't believe in crypto and then i searched more about crypto and found that this is a profitable investment. You know what, my advice is that whenever you invest in anything, juts believe in your investment, don't let others affect to your opinion
100% spot on. Do your own research and stick by yourself. Good advice Louis. So you are still HODLing strong then ?

Like most of you, friends and news affected my decision. Almost a year ago, for the sake of news, I understand the importance of cryptocurrencies. One of my best friends also advised me to invest in crypto projects. He explained every detail.
All stories look the same but the feeling and thoughts behind it are yours and even if I see similar stories, I feel like they are different in a sense aswell. That was deep ey, sorry about that haha. You sir have a good friend. The fact that he went out and took the time to explain everything in detail is very nice of him. Definetly not all people are like that. So how are you holding up with this bear market ? Been a rough year for you and your investment I bet  Undecided
