.. what? BTC or FUN?

Yeah… this is more of a moral note, so feel free to skip this paragraph. I’m on the side of “everyone is the master of their own life.” We all knew or at the very least should have known the risks of leaving coins on a custodial site. I think some people somewhere around 2013 kept drumming that no private keys here so be careful. At the same time, I'm also on the side of "words do matter". FBC should have kept their promises (well lah-dih-dah - how cutely naive of me! At my next post I’ll probably rant about world peace!), and the same goes for the endless “told you so” sermons. People have every right to say it, but I don’t see the point. Losses like this already push some to the edge; I can imagine suicides happening, and the internet has enough loose cannons who might go hunting the supposed “owners” and end up hurting an innocent person instead. This isn’t a movie where the good guys magically win. Losing money is frustrating and painful, and I don’t want to offer false hope — because frankly, I don’t see much if any. Having hope is just the worst.

That said, and I’m sure these aren’t exactly groundbreaking ideas, food for thought: if anyone does want to turn some stones, the Dutch gambling authority (KSA) might be the only angle. They’ve already fined or tried to fine FBC B.V., which looks like a Dutch limited company rather than just a Belizean shell? If that’s the case, it should show up in the Dutch company register? There has also been some dialogue between KSA and FBC(? according to linked 2 daya old article), so there must be some representative in the open? The authority itself is probably bound by GDPR, so a public register may be the only real starting point — and unfortunately, maybe also the end.

Any native Dutch residents or speakers here who can confirm what this article says, or explain how these things usually work in the Netherlands?

I guess they pseudo-deposit them - there are still issues. One day I had 1865 spins, next day I had something like 3900 and been getting more of them all the time. Sounds good so far huh? Well when I try to spin it, then I just get the message "This free spin is expired" and spin counter resets back to 1865 spins. When I refresh the page it shows 4400 spins but in reality, under the hood, I still have 1865.

Oookey.. they credited missing WOFs? I've suddenly quite a lot more than I had yesterday. I've never mailed support or DM'd anyone.

Edit: No, not really. It showed 3500 spins, and when I clicked "Play one" it went down to 1800 and that spin was expired.

Just a guess, but "12" is probably a number that is connected to bitcoin's value. Just like the value of free roll. Spins hold no value to me either.

Hehey, new problem. Locked FUN actually stays locked - Expires 22/3/2025 4:57:25. I do think that's passed already.

I just wanted to make sure everything is OK, so I guess "peace of mind". And I did waste some money for two transactions, yeah. Paid dollar or two. I'll know better next time.

Thanks to all of you. Got it now. I canceled it, it returned to me and I resent it. Originally I used 3.5, I bumped it to 7.

Well I got it all wrong then.. so "Cancel (double-spend)"-increase fee and "OK" and that's it? What happens if I don't do that? It takes weeks / months to transfer?

There was quite a lot info about it, but I didn't quite catch what happens if I don't cancel it? It's stuck for a period of time and transaction either goes through or returns?

I have no idea what I did, but clearly something. Should I cancel it? If I cancel this then transaction just returns and I've paid some fees "for nothing"?

I guess I can say that too. My "your benefit level days" is just empty, and I have no benefits in 0 days. WoF/day 0 - cashback 0% - interest 0%. I have to add though that on "earn BTC" tab it shows annual interest rate with +interest and indeed it has worked.

I'm quite sure it wasn't down at any point. Miners have been steadily going away, unfortunately. It's been 5 kH/s for ages now. Used to be 120 kH/s back in the day!

Well hot diggity.. welcome back once again. It was a long crappy year, let's hope this one will be better. Starting point feels to be a bit more challenging than it should be. To some extent old users may need some re-assuring that everything will be great at the end. Then again, constant updates may do just that. I don't know if this project can take another long absence from you again (or at least without knowing that there will be a long absence). WELL ANYWAY what do I know? Who gives a crap what I know? There's certainly some catching to do.
