1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / HoweyCoins is completely SCAM!!! on: February 18, 2019, 10:16:23 AM
This Bitcointalk sponsored ICO is completely SCAM:

2  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WEECOIN - SCAM - FAKE TEAM on: February 15, 2019, 09:44:14 PM
Nice try but not necessary.

Regarding the project's Risk Management Plan (if you read), it is completely up to the team members to publish their identities, use alias, or hide their identities. Hence, they are not fake but hidden behind other names.
In addition, it is not a reasonable talk when you say someone (Laura Zaharia) is a scammer just because she has been the advisor of a scam project. We know Laura from LinkedIn as much as you know her.

We decided keep all the team members' identities hidden except for the main owner (Ali Ghobadi) and some Advisors. We cannot force the team to publish their identities since they worry about their security, as Satoshi and Monero team were.

Finally, we suggest all of you to read the project's documents and its outstanding features rather than entitling such a solid project "SCAM". Thus far, more than 10 months of research and experimental work have been performed on this project. It is not a game, scam, etc.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / If you read the whitepaper, every misunderstandings is resolved. on: February 15, 2019, 01:32:48 PM
In regard to using ALIAS, we have conducted based on the Risk Management Plan as mentioned already in our WhitePaper. In addition, we have had the permission of people whose photos were used as alias. The original team rather to remain anonymous. Is it so hard to understand?

However, if someone wants not to understand you can never make him understand.

Meanwhile, it is better for Bitcointalk to think about its own, sponsored SCAM HoweyCoins!

Yet, there has not been any evidence showing that many institutional investors are investing on crypto.

of course those who still hope are investors who have the confidence and patience to invest in crypto currencies whether it's any coin

Definitely we will see huge growth for cryptos in the future.

8  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain a new technology or just a method of data storing? on: November 28, 2018, 10:02:25 AM
The blockchain is technically a distributed ledger. It does work as a database, but it is more than that. It is, of course, new technology and is just one decade old. I will also like to add that blockchain is still in the infant stage and has a lot of room to grow. It is a technology that is currently changing almost every industry out there, just like the internet has done.
It has a lot of doors to be knocked and grow, as you say. But I am wondering why so many people who claimed they know blockchain well do not consider it as a database. Oddly enough, it is just a data storing structure with a new method of encryption, confirmation, save, and retrieve. Is that so hard to realize?

Who will finally be the Blockchain Leader in the world; USA or China?
I support USA. We not know any exact thing from China. In my opinion, USE will pass China and win this competition.
Unfortunately, China does not a clear strategy neither on Blockchain nor on other novel technologies. I personally cannot say what exactly China is looking for. However, when it comes to people of China, things changes really. Chinese do usually their best on adapting themselves with new findings, especially if they smell financial taste.

Who will finally be the Blockchain Leader in the world; USA or China?
I think no country will win in blockchain. China and the United States do not support the development of crypto so traders will not have the opportunity to develop it around the world. so i think it can not have a great future. It can only be anonymous throughout life.
Of course if countries support the development of crypto, it will be accelerated around the globe. But, technology does not essentially need governmental supports to live and grow. It will finally find its way.
11  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain a new technology or just a method of data storing? on: November 15, 2018, 07:21:15 AM
A blockchain in itself is just a data format and without a proper consensus algorithm it's worth next to nil.

The innovation that Bitcoin introduced came from combining the data structure we now call blockchain while using proof of work as centerpiece of a consensus algorithm. Each piece by itself was nothing new, albeit rarely used, but combined it enabled permissionless and secure monetary transactions without the need for a central entity or federated trust -- a solution to a problem previously unsolved.

In short: Cryptocurrencies are a new technology, but blockchains alone, while also new(ish), are little more than a cumbersome way to store data.
If you say blockchain is a data storing structure, do you agree it is one the worst database produced ever? No records, no specific retrieving format, etc. Everything is stored as transactions with a huge amount of redundancy.

the two countries not only compete in crypto currencies. a lot of fields that become competition between China and the USA. but for crypto currencies, I'm sure China will be the winner
Why you claim such this? China is doing well about crypto currencies but there is also a list of banning activities in China. I personally think China does not know what would be the best to do about crypto, and China will not be the final winner unless it open its hug completely against crypto!

The Chinese are not making much effort in cryptocurrency and the blockchain. I see the US dominating them in this technology. There is more acceptance of the blockchain technology in US than in China.
Please refer us to a couple of solid references that support your idea.
Why do you say China does not make much effort in cryptocurrency and blockchain?
Instead, name some blockchain-based projects under development in USA.
When you provide audience with reliable references, your comment is acceptable much more.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will finally win the Blockchain competition; USA or China? on: November 11, 2018, 07:06:50 PM
I see most of comments are concerned about the word "competition" as the vast majority of them is saying there is no competition.
However, I had better mention to a similar competition available in economy between these two countries. We should clarify the fact that this is a kind of implicit, hidden contest among several nations; China and USA as top representative of them.
Hence, please do not repeat "there is no competition" since there is actual a big one.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will finally win the Blockchain competition; USA or China? on: November 10, 2018, 08:07:15 PM
The one who will be able to introduce this technology into the lives of ordinary people to make their lives easier will win.

Exactly, who is capable of introducing the blockchain technology into people daily life and society acceptance will hold the first position. In the meantime, we had better take the crypto into account much more than any other blockchain-based services. In my opinion, the nation that make the most adoption with crypto payment systems would be the ultimate pioneer.

Huh Huh I hear that USA are giving good resouces for Blockchain investigation, but definetely China will be the winner, becouse they know that this technology will be worldwide.  Cool Cool
I doubt china will be in the top 2 when its all said and done. China keeps on trying to ban stuff related to crypto and just recently published a new desire to stop airdrops as well which they already explained their hatred towards ICO as well. So it means blockchain is improving all around the world while having setbacks when it comes to china, that's why it is hard for china to actually beat any country in blockchain competition.

Certainly not a big country like USA which already has many countries trying to build blockchain softwares to help out corporations on their needs. Blockchain software is now used in many third world countries like carribeans and bahamas and malta and so forth, it is quite soon that it will start to work its way towards first world countries and meanwhile China is just trying to keep its people away from it.
When Blockchain comes to crypto, Chain and some other nations try to prevent their people from investing on. However, Blockchain is not only crypto, and there are a variety of projects all over the world using several benefits of Blockchain. From this perspective, China is one of the pioneer countries.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will finally win the Blockchain competition; USA or China? on: November 08, 2018, 08:08:13 AM
Not an easy consideration to say which one of these two is concerning more on regulations. USA pursues almost a fixed road to regulate the blockchain, while China is frequently changing the orientation. Yet, it is only one side of the problem, and blockchain development is not all about regulation. In fact, a variety of other perspectives should be measured such as human resource, budgeting, public acceptance, capitalist mafia, etc.

USA will always be the first and China will always be the second. USA has much more influence on many countries so whatever product from the   blockchain platform they endorsed, those other countries will follow especially the small or poor, undeveloped countries.

I was wondering what makes people think like this? No pioneer has remained at the first position forever. Any other countries could surpass USA even in Blockchain technology.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will finally win the Blockchain competition; USA or China? on: November 06, 2018, 08:43:05 PM
Blockchain in China is added to long term China economic plan
There is around 26 blockchain project supported by China gov
I know at least one what is already in use that is food tracking blockchain
All of China blockchain are specialist blockchain
So answer is above whatever press is telling China is IT top 1 country
China knows value of innovative technology on how new technology can support his economy

Could you please name those 26 blockchain projects, or refer us to a reference?
