Apparently, all US Banks and companies that I have credit cards with have issued policy updates to not allow cryptocurrency purchases.
I actually agree with them on this. Surprised it took this long honestly. It only took the last couple of months to make them notice |

Perfect Storm... Also during the timeframe when China is cracking down on exchanges and mining firms. Maybe they are trying to unload them and make a quick buck before they are forced to move or shut down |

So anyone else see the issue that this can only mine Siacoin (SC)? Even a small batch would decrease the profitability of mining SC by 60-80% given the current global hashrate.
Current profit approx 1400$/month.
So we are looking at approx 560-700$/month in profit on a 2375$ machine after they are all up and running. A 4 1/2 month or so ROI, not great, not bad either...
Thoughts?
I think you have your inputs wrong on the profitability calculator. At current rates, its $489 per day, $3400 per week, and $14,000 per month. That will dramatically drop though as soon as the first batch is shipped and added to the overall hashrate |

So apparently Segwit 2X hardfork is coming back and will happen on block 501451 (approx 12/28). Interestingly enough, if this is true, they'll be changing the mining algorithm to X11. Take a look at the article below, it was posted on a few different sites. https://hype.codes/segwit2x-still-possible-againIm confused by the dates. At the top of the page it says the hardfork will happen on 12-28- 2018 and in the body of the post it says it will happen on 12-28- 2017? Im not sure the info is accurate |

In the USA no customs until you hit $2500 I believe. Members have ordered miners 1 at a time and mostly kept under the radar, though one had FedEx add together two shipments that arrived separately about a week apart and still charged him!  they now charge on 1 piece around 45 usd it could be they are count all the ones I purchased during the year. translation order 1 = tax order 2 = tax order 3 = tax this is as applied to ups I have 3 coming today. coins now over 15000 usa ! I had a couple of miners delivered by UPS individually, and they required me to pay with a check for the duties and taxes, however what I found out on all of my later shipments was if I picked the Miners and power supplies up from the UPS facility I was not charged at all - They just gave me the package, had me sign and I walked out without needing to pay at all. It has worked out for my last 10 shipments. A quick 15-minute drive to save 100s of dollars on duties and taxes! They all arrived separately though |

I'm paying 318euro for one AntMiner D3 send to Ireland in UPS Delivery customs duties - its normal??
I paid USD 42.72 per each D3 in New York, USA Looks like it's much cheaper than in Europe. I had a couple of miners delivered by UPS and they required me to pay with a check for the duties and taxes, however what I found out on all of my later shipments was if I picked the Miners and power supplies up from the UPS facility I was not charged at all - They just gave me the package, had me sign and I walked out without needing to pay at all. Soooo i saw some post on reddit - Someone was complaining that Bitmain didn't sent them PSU even if they did make same order Miner+PSU. Someone replied on it and said that they sent 2 of those in 2 different shipments... Is any of this true? Can someone please answer, Did anyone had problem like this? With common sense i am expecting for shipment to arrive both at the same time, is that how they work? Or is really 2 different shipment?
All lot of whiners on the Forum today.... So I take it you have never ordered anything through the mail/internet before? Apparently to some folks this will be an earth shattering epiphany: More often than not, items are shipped separately.... Yea i understand that they are shipped separately, but i don't want to be in same cae, S9 received and PSU not... Won't have PSU to turn it up then... Just asking in advance because there are a lot of experienced members here... That is not whining that is looking for advice... For the latest batches you will not receive the PSUs at the same time as the Miners. You will probably end up waiting a couple of weeks between receiving the Miners and receiving the PSUs |

sorry did not want to hurt you, but if somebody bought 10 D3s, he will be able to get 1 S9 free of charge. You can only use 1 coupon per product. So no I cannot get a free S9. If I wanted to use all of my 10 coupons I would have to buy 10 S9's !! Yea and I bet they will raise the prices on the next batch of S9s by 1000 Yuan (150 USD) or more too so the coupons wont make any difference |

I wanna try to get some kind of profitability out of my shipment that i just received a couple of days ago, but they still havent shipped the bloody PSUs out yet. WTF is that all about. By the time I get the power supplies the next shipment will have already gone out.

Everyone knows there is an incoming dump for BTC after the fork and there will be a correction in crypto prices. Things could change in a few months, who knows..   Ironically, gotta say DASH saved my ass yesterday! With the profit I made, I was able to cover my loss with the miners plus replace them with L3+! How many D3s did you buy? Did Bitmain ship PSUs in a box along side with your miners? My November D3 Miners arrived early, however no PSUs were shipped. The UPS website also said I had to pay customs, but when I went to the UPS Hub they didnt charge me anything and just handed the boxes to me.... Still waiting for the power supplies though |
