Closing Loan Request and selling domain.
The domain was only offered on namepros.com briefly. I have over a decade of experience in selling domains and personally do not recommend or utilize generic domain sales sites as niche, brandable names are best sold by approaching potential buyers directly.
(I have been a member at namepros for over ten years so perhaps it would be advantageous for me to also offer the lender the ability to confirm my namepros.com account which is a domain sales related community)
The name I have is a one word brandable domain that would be specific to the ERC721 non fungible token industry (aka cryptokitties). i have a personal expense I need to pay asap, and i determined it was a good time to solicit the domain to potential buyers. Especially with cryptokitties just receiving another 25 million investment round, it is just a good time. I therefore found the contact information for roughly a dozen venture capital firms, along with a few developers of other non fungible tokens that have seen success, and sent them all a basic sales solicitation with an asking price, and a price that I would consider offers above (which was $7500). I have received two offers on the domain thus far, both above the minimum price. Both offers came with legal conditions which prevent me from sharing the details of them. Which is why I say that the lender will have to judiciously determine valuation based on their own common sense. I think that any potential lender will be able to determine the value far exceeds the requested loan amount by the name alone.
I do have a pressing need for the funds, but at this point I am hesitant to sell the domain because it appears the value may even far exceed what I had assumed.
Also, I do not go off of estimation services for my valuations. For instance, I own the domain BlockBunnies.com (Imo more brandable than cryptokitties) and have been given estimates on it between 3-5k, but would personally never value it anywhere near that. In fact, it is a domain that I was willing to tack on as a free gift with the other.

LOAN REQ CLOSED> MOVING FORWARD WITH SALE OF DOMAIN IN THE MORNING
Looking for: .25 btc loan, for 1 month. asking for interest of 10-15% (20% maximum I can afford) Can repay in full on or before January 05, 2019.
Collateral: .com domain with two standing offers both exceeding 5x loan amount requested. domain has been registered six months, and is a one word highly brandable blockchain related .com domain. will provide name via pm to any interested lender but prefer to keep out of thread in event i decide to sell in future following loan. I had planned on selling domain and solicited roughly a dozen blockchain vc firms including a few developers roughly 48 hours ago. received two offers same day. now see it may have greater value than i first estimated and would like to avoid selling if possible. willing to use forum escrow and transfer ownership of domain for period of loan. i am legally unable to share details of standing offers, so you will have to use your own common sense to judge value of domain. willing to provide proof of ownership as extra security by providing picture with ID and handwritten note of lenders request to match whois information.
in event loan could not be repaid on time terms would be an additional 20% of loan in interest due per month for two months, ultimately forfeiting the domain if not paid back with all due interest by march 05, 2019. this is highly unlikely situation as the loan will be paid back using funds from an annual disbursement payment that i receive.
if interested please post in thread any questions or offers. if loan is not filled by monday morning the loan request is to be considered rescinded as i will have to sell the domain.

i appreciate the reply. do you know of any members that will do a loan for domains? the domain has legitimate value, not inflated estimate value or anything. the two offers i have standing both came within 24 hours of soliciting it to vc firms, the lowest still being in the high x,xxx range. i'm looking for roughly $1500 loan. could get by with $1100 with ability to repay in full on january 05 with up to 20% interest. if you know anyone who may be willing, perhaps let them know to contact me. domain has been registered for six months so no risk of anything funky going on with disputed registration payments or anything.

I apologize. I just saw that you do not take domains as collateral. Disregard previous message.

Curious if you would take a domain as collateral. I imagine I would have to transfer ownership of the domain to you, and then rely on your trust to send back. As I don't think there is a service that holds a domain in that type of escrow. It is a brandable, one word .com domain relating to ERC721 tokens. I have solicited sale of the domain to a list of blockchain related vc firms, and have 2 standing offers back in relatively short time. This made me reconsider my decision to sell the domain, that perhaps I did not understand the potential value in it. But I have very few other options at this point. Would you be open to giving a loan if I were to transfer the domain to you, and then you agree to transfer ownership back after I have repaid the loan? If you would be open to this type of arrangement, and you determine the value of the domain to be worth loaning please let me know. (I would be asking for roughly 25% of what I have been offered. Both offers contain legal disclosure that I cannot share them, but you could assess the value yourself and if you deem it to be reasonable then we could move forward) if this is something you would do, please let me know!

entertaining serious offers for this domain. have never marketed it for sale, but the potential for this name is immense. perhaps the single most brandable name for a cryptokitties of the animal kingdom. have received low x,xxx offers forwarded from registrar. if you are a developer of unique assets, i would also consider going into a development partnership and branding.

Lol your versions are getting more responses than mine. I need to source some other translators. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) This coin will be successful. You will see. Success comes from genuine effort. I am sure this quote will have some parts lost in translation, but it is one of the only quotes I have ever found and liked "Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back-- Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth that ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now." "

I understood. well, I played it like an erection - the restoration of manhood. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) By the way, we are still on page 1. Haha. That's pretty funny. The token store listing should be taken care of and paid today. Just a little more to come up with. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I also just realized that the name probably will be confusing to people who don't speak english. The name represents the english word resurrect, which means to bring back from the dead. But is a play on words, replacing the RECT with REKT which is the slang for being broke

Haha. nobody has replied but it looks awesome. Hehe. This is tough to get following but I found someone who believes in coin and is willing to pay for us to be listed.
Haha. That is awesome. Maybe they will be the one's to help the coin take off! It's very simple what I want to do. To just have a large group of people that are't just bounty hunters or people looking to dump the coins, and who are willing to all come to a consensus that, for example, nobody would sell more than 10% of their coins over the current 2 week period. If a coin was built from the ground up with that kind of discipline and solidarity and support, it's value would end up being enormous.

What's the deal with deposits? do we have to manually write support to get them credited?

Soon enough every government and bank in the world is going to understand that the more you try to kill bitcoin, the stronger it becomes.
Hal Finney was Satoshi. and it's so glaringly obvious it really boggles my mind how it isn't basically acknowledged as fact.
Hal finney was basically the original G of cryptography. He was briliant. Predicted basically everything that has happened with bitcoin. He spoke about bitcoin in a way that a parent would speak of their most loved child. He lived a few blocks from Satoshi Nakamoto. His writing styles were most identical to satoshis. He was a cypherpunk. He wanted to change the world. He received the first bitcoin transfer Satoshi disappeared when hal got sick. .... and I could keep going on.
But don't worry. It will all come out in roughly ten years, when the attorney who has been entrusted with his entire stash of bitcoin releases them using an absolutely brilliant mechanism of dispersal unto the poorest people of the world.

Well Good news. We will be getting listed on token store by the end of the week. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I feel a bonus is in order for you since you were the only one who responded to my thread and showed any support.

I love you poor man! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I don't know what button bounty you're talking about, but when I was a kid, I wanted to be an astronaut! I don't know English and I don't know cryptography-coding-ets. So I think you should take me on the team! Can't I be an Advisor?! And your english is pretty good for not knowing it! What language are you a master of? In your new role as advisor, would you be able to potentially translate our announcement thread? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)
Haha yes of course. You can be an advisor. Absolutely. The Whole point of this project is that all people have value. And that's ok about the bounty because I found out if people submit the bounty I have to spend even more gas than if I just sent directly to their address. Since you are employee now, come link up on twitter. Twitter.com/resurREKTcoin and DM me your ETH address and Ill send you your welcome gift and we can get your business cards ordered once you pick a proper title. Unless Advisor is good?
