The statistics just goes to show there have been an increase in the number of scammers across the network, installing malwares is one very way to get the better of crypto enthusiast, but I think the success of such attempts have been at a reduced level, as people are now more vigilant, far more wiser and more proactive to such scam attempts

News such as this in my opinion is basically to spread panic,i honestly think we should ignore such statistics/information.. When did you guys first buy Bitcoin, what was the price of BTC and are you going to panic sell now?
I bought my first BTC in the first month of this year, and I'm still hodling till now, I definitely am not panic selling just yet

i personally would never trade on this forums.. its too ripe of scammers. so i just dont bother in the first place.
Well it's definitely your personal decision, but many users in here trade with fellow members, and definitely haven't had any problems.. The thing is all about following the due course, and procedure to make sure you're safe in case of any wrong doings One way to do that is through an escrow(trusted)service, and making sure such user is a reputable member of the forum...

I for one definitely think that a reference for any trust issue, whether positive or negative deserves to be referenced, without a reference it's basically your word for it, as there happens to be no proof of illicit dealings, nor trustworthy dealings, whichever way you look at it.. Negative trusts, are invariably used to warn the community off a particular user, would you do that without quality proof/reason as to why we shouldn't... While a positive trusts basically tells the community that such user can be trusted, how then can we trust such user, without a reference to any of his/her trustworthy dealings on-the forum/with other members on the forum.. I think OP made a whole lot of sense By the way, I do strongly believe that there are a bunches of thread regarding this issue. You should check those before creating a new thread so that you could get the output without creating a thread.
I've been reading voraciously on the forum since coming on board,i haven't come across any topic such as this one.. Links please!!!!

If you feel the price will further deteriorate and you feel you wanna cut down on possible loss, then you can also sell off right now, hodling is just the best way to see if maximizing profits could be on the card soon, its not a must/compulsion...
With the number of threads about the bitcoins price this week, it seems most traders are panicking,or is it simply the noobs who got onto the investors train recently...

Most bounty hunters hardly know the purpose of putting on a campaigns signature,i must confess, what's advertisement, when the advertiser isn't one to pay attention to.. Who in his right senses would click a link below a one line spam reply, its basically simply, if one comes up with more quality posts, the better for the campaign..And the more the willingness for users to try out the link on their signatures..
If the managers can take their time to sort this out, really it'll not only be better for the forum, but also for their projects/campaigns

Probably OP didn't get any replies over there, qnd thought, hey "it'll definitely get attention over here" Now sadly I really think he has to move it back.. The report looks like a blatant merit abuse to me though

This trend is mostly synonymous with day/active/short term traders, long term traders hardly ever take notes of short increase/decrease in price.. Hodling may probably be the best option at the moment if you ask me,but what if one hodl and the bitcoin hits below 3kUSD, would it not have been better to sell of right now.. This network is filled with uncertainties,no one can lay claim as to knowing which methodologies are best to adopt

I looked through your post history ( the OP ), and I managed to award 5 merits spread over 3 post. Now you are ready for the next rank. Based on your strict meriting criteria,i think it's a big plus to me,and much more encouragement on the forum, and a prove that the merit sources are always on hand to hand out merits where it's deserving.. I've actually earned 6 from you now(my biggest fan)

I've been on and off the beginners board since I came on this forum,i actually thought it could be the right section for a noob to get started and get acquainted with the nitty gritty of the forum, likewise answers to questions..
But topics in the beginners board hardly ever get enough replies, and if it does its probably from a fellow noob who has zero knowledge of the forum, like the very noob who posted or asked the question..its a really funny one and shouldn't be so
I honestly think high ranked up members really should try and provide help to noobs on the beginners board,it will help to develop the forum and get them started the right way.. It really shouldn't be backlash upon backlash, and complaining about bounty signatures, without actually providing any help to better the forum or see noobs educated
|
|
|
You're also a beginner, dishing out instructions is bad English and hardly coherent words, apart from the fact that you just stated the obvious, and put a link that's just 3--4 posts above yours, just shows you're the noob who needs tutoring on the forum.. I'll advice you stay on read mode, till at least you can communicate effectively, with at least 10% quality

Lol... Your reply actually cracked me up,more than the OP.. Excessive merit begging

While suing them may make some sense, there is actually no reason to do so, as they are apparently lazy and not innovative, they'll always remain in bitcoin talks shadows Suing them could actually give them cheap/fake popularity,as their site name would actually be flashed around the news, all thanks to us.

Scrutinizing users post history before handing out merits could help in reducing the actual large amounts of merits that gets wasted due to a merit to a potential banned/banned account.. But it's down to meriter, some sources/members actually do a bit of the scrutiny before handing one or two out, especially when dealing with an unpopular account on the forum, but you really cannot expect everyone to follow such strenuous routine simply to hand out merits, some users simply hand out merits based on the post on sight, and it's perfectly OK,if you sure do have time to do a bit of search into users post history,it could also be beneficial...
Now talking about the boards you're requesting to be ousted, thid forum is an open/user friendly forum, yeah the major reason is discussions about the bitcoin, but narrowing it down to simply that will make this place boring and inhabitantble.. We need meta to discuss issues pertaining to the forum, how to move the forum forward, and were users come to make appeal Off-topic is simply for fun, discussing issues ranging from favorite food to musicians,it sure helps ease some tension up, if you can find willing replies We sure have over 2000 Altcoins,we definitely need the Altcoin discussion. I'll rather discuss some political issues in P&S than engage in some generic topics on the BD board

Will you likewise leap to the defense of a newbie if they made a redundant post, such as this one, no one on bitcoin talk cares about who or what you put on your ignore list, its your private matter.. This post is unnecessary as well as unhelpful and of low quality(i guess it's not only noobs that make up such blend)

thank you guys for your support. . . have a nice day and good luck. I hope I can be better than today and can be useful for forums.
I really do not understand the purpose for this thread, nor this redundant reply, what exactly are you thankful about.. we sure were having a nice day before you decided to bore us with this redundant sort of thread.. Forums???,that's in the plural form,i wonder what other forum could be worth it when it comes to cryptocurrency discussions

copper member = member (earnings in signature bounty)
Nah,not again, you failed it mate.. Copper members=Jr member(1 stakes to be earned in signature bounty...thats even if the bounty accepts copper members )

Yeah definitely the loss of users without merits has changed a lot of things such as a reduction in shit/copy pasting/low content post/replies...
I couldn't agree more with you I really wish they do not come back!!!

1)Interviews with forum users you would like to see.. User1:@Tman User2:@Vod.. 2)What questions do you wanna ask them @Tman:You seem never to get a chill pill when it comes to plagiarists/shit posters, would you use words such as fuck off/pajeets if we had less of them on the forum @Vod:Why have you been licking your boobs since 1970,its been quite a long time 3)Would you like an Interview yourself?? Yes, definitely

The OP really isn't quite knowledgeable on the forum, and he sums it up with this: haw can i see my post with merit?
His initial merited thread was definitely worth the merit, and for someone with low knowledge about the forum, and who hadn't earned any merits hitherto, his ecstasy drove him to start up this thread, and considering the fact it's in meta and about merits I do not see anything wrong with it Neither do I see anything wrong with the merit it got, merits have been handed out for memes far worse than this
