Im posting this in this section so that it will reach out directly to the admin and staff of this forum which Satoshi created. It seems like people had no more interest with BTC and they are dumping it already even if people are losing already their money. I know that this is not appropriate to talk this here but I would like to passed on my story about cryptocurrency to the new comers.

I came to know cryptocurrency/bitcoin when my friend introduces me this after the highest market price for BTC recorded. From that moment I made up my mind that this system would be one of a good form for gambling. Risking money for gain through investing. I know that after investing all will HOLD and wait for the bitcoin market price to go high. At first I was able to experience ups and down with bitcoin during the first quarter and the second quarter of the year 2018. Thus, making me enjoy more with cryptocurrency. As getting hype and interest with the system I decided to invest little by little every time market is down and selling it little by little if it gains a good market price increase. I then earn a little with that period but that was only a little amount and could not compromise the loss I made right now. It is so sad that my interest now had gone after seeing bad condition of the market and that means I quit already by selling my BTC. I still have my altcoins but I am not interested in it also and will just hold it so that if i can check back I still had hope that I could recover some loss.

The learnings and the effort for getting merits now are considered useless already. I have no more motivation to continue and enjoy the stay in the forum. However, I am still looking for something that could motivate me to stay with the system and the forum.

As I made huge losses of my hard earn money after withdrawing my BTC. This is what I would like to ask from the experts here, forum moderators, admin and staff to what are the things to consider for a newbie like me to continue and enjoy the forum or with cryptocurrency involvement? You see, I could be a representation in behalf to all investors/contributors of BTC that are also asking same questions. Is there anything else that we could expect for BITCOIN to happen?

To: SATOSHI NAKAMOTO

Do you plan to make an announcement here in the forum you created? What to expect in BTC?

PS. Sorry for this post if you will find this offensive but this all because of the bad market situation.

You seem determined to be the poster child for buy high and sell low.  I apologize for how harsh this will sound, but it must be said.  The worst reason to buy an asset is because the price has gone up, and the worst reason to sell an asset is because the price has gone down.  There are many real reasons to buy BTC, like changing the world for the better, or dozens of use cases.  I would ask if you had a real reason to buy, what about that reason has changed to make you sell, anything?

The main reason we all should use bitcoin is simple easy and one - Change the world.
It is in our hands not someone hands, now we don't have excuses, now the power is on our hands.
But seems like most of the hands here are greedy and shaky and that's why our coin is shaky also.
The true supporters and believers will remain in the "game" and the cause.
Don't get me wrong, we do care about the price but we do care more about the idea.

Most people buy with money they don't need for 5-10 years time as the technology and asset class are new. If you weren't planning to hold for that amount of time than it's more like gambling and hoping to win big and cashout. That isn't what bitcoin is for, that's what casino is for.

You do realize that Satoshi has been out of bitcoin since forever right? Or is this another case of investing without doing any research whatsoever?

The learnings and the effort for getting merits now are considered useless already. I have no more motivation to continue and enjoy the stay in the forum. However, I am still looking for something that could motivate me to stay with the system and the forum.
That's the problem right there. If your motivation to stay in this space is only money, then you're probably better off in other places.

It is so sad that my interest now had gone after seeing bad condition of the market and that means I quit already by selling my BTC. I still have my altcoins but I am not interested in it also and will just hold it so that if i can check back I still had hope that I could recover some loss.
Just so you know, in a bear market, alts usually fall a lot harder. That might just be a worse move as it's actually better to hold BTC than alts right now.

1. You should never use your "hard earned money" to "gamble" on any investment. Every market has its cycles and it seems you bought at the top.
2. I don't consider you a newbie, you have more than 250 activity already. This forum will always be a place for you to engage and enjoy cryptocurrency related discussions.
3. BTC was never created as an "investment" if you read the whitepaper. There is no fucking ICO here. It was created as a means of payment. You can't sue anyone, this ain't a company where you became the stakeholders and can complain whatever the hell happens with your company performance. The contributors to BTC aren't those who buy the coins and hold it to expect it went to 100000x in 1 week. They're the one who coded it, fixes the bugs, keeps the network running, educates people about it, and so on. If you decide to be a contributor, please do one of those options.

My advice for you: if you can't handle the market and losing too much, then forget about it and see it again 1 year or 2 years later. Don't sell your assets unless you don't have any money left. The first thing that you should do in any investment is to make sure you only invest what you can afford to lose. And I'm afraid you don't do that.

Whatever non sense you're all talking about BITCOIN now is in really bad condition glad to sell it because it gets worse. You see it is not only me who had the kind of feeling that BITCOIN is like a shrinking ship. Take a comparison between the first image I posted from coinmarketcap.com and this one!

In just few hours after posted the BTC market price still dipping. Maybe it will continue to fall who knows?

Guys I admire your positiveness and would like to ask if how to be you. And also I do not want to be a victim of the word HODL and that is why I sell all my BTC. You could not blame all the BTC investors for this and making an exit for current market situation.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL HOLDERS!!!May cryptocurrency save you the best and those who bag our money from our investment then regards to all of them. Wish them more money to take care of them having bad health condition and sickness. LOL. Kidding...

You're quite funny to blame Satoshi for the market crash. Maybe his the one should blame you're nasty attitude. He created the bitcoin for people to have a new method for payment but you're complaining with its price going down. You're lucky it still have value.
It is true. We can not blame Satoshi for the market crash. He is the creator and developer of Bitcoin but i believe he already left a long time ago.

Bitcoin is maturing, and is becoming a store of wealth. This is good, and the recent drop is shaking out the speculators who think of it as a money tree. Lets hope that the drop will shake out the posters in Bitcoin Talk who think BT is a money tree as well.

I don't understand one thing... What Satoshi have to do with the bitcoin price, and why he should post on the forum announcements ? About what ?
I do not understand also why you say about blaming Satoshi? I was just asking if Satoshi can show up and make some announcement on whatever updates about the bitcoin and how come it all just came to this point or maybe something more. If you had only read the title Sorry I cannot Hold Anymore My Love is not all about blaming Satoshi but a decision being made after a huge market price fluctuation. If you think that way then you are wrong. I had no intention ever to blame anyone except for the bad market situation. You should understand how is it hard to loose some of your money that contradict to your expectation of the bull run in this peak season of the year 2018. In short I just blame the bad market situation and not the one who created the system.

Hopefully Satoshi could show up here in this forum he created and made some announcement to which we could expect good things or if not then it is still better to show up for moral support to the BTC contributors/investors.

BCH gone so BAD also. sighs

You should think carefully before deciding. In my opinion, this is not a good time to sell, you will suffer a loss. Maybe you should think again.

This guy is calling out for satoshi to help navigate his misplaced idea of the market, very funny. If you had made more profit, would you be here asking for a feedback from satoshi or the admins? Get your head and notions straight and you will understand what the best course of action is also, if you had spent good but quality time here outside gambling and quick money system, you would have understood what to do. This shows your little time here so far wasn't well used.

You know fully well you couldn't handle the pressure that comes with investing on this network, why then did you get in..
To cry foul play and blame an anonymous satoshi when the prices fall..
And play the cool guy, open a bottle of beer and hail satoshi's creation when the price pumps up..

Things do not work that way in here,if you're in the system, stay in it, for the fact that the bitcoin ever came on board is more than enough reason to be grateful...

For those people who are selling now, an example-
Bought @ $10k, price is going down and down, sold @$5k. Then, BTC started to gain price again. OMG, it's $8k, it's the bullrun. Bought @$8k. Price is now @$10k. Let's wait. Let me recover my previous loss. And price is again at @$6k. Fuck, I messed up. I should sell @$10k. Sold @$6k. And the chain will be continued, it will never end. Yeah, that's what is happening. By the way, I didn't invest too much and that's why I am still sitting on the boat easily. The universal truth-
"Only invest if you can afford to lose it."

Right now people who bought bitcoin when it had a higher price are only suffering from a *potential* loss. If you chose to sell at this price, then you transform that potential into something concrete and you will incur an *actual* loss.

As Jet Cash said earlier, this is actually good for the ecosystem, because all those speculators who saw bitcoin as a get rich quick scheme are weed out and only those who are actually interested in developing the ecosystem will remain.

And maybe this price drop is for the good, settling the price around $4000, and then sit there for a long time, transforming bitcoin in a store of value, not just a means of payment. And if you look at the fundamentals, with limited supply and market penetration of only 10% (according to some optimistic opinions), there is a strong foundation for secular growth in price.

This trend is mostly synonymous with day/active/short term traders, long term traders hardly ever take notes of short increase/decrease in price..
Hodling may probably be the best option at the moment if you ask me,but what if one hodl and the bitcoin hits below 3kUSD, would it not have been better to sell of right now..
This network is filled with uncertainties,no one can lay claim as to knowing which methodologies are best to adopt
