It's literally impossible for me to "stop paying" or "run away" with anyone's money, because I don't have access to anyone's money. Only the contract does. That's the beauty of smart contracts: unless you believe the Ethereum network itself will be 51% attacked, the rules will play out exactly as coded. It's as secure as a Bitcoin transaction - and if you don't believe Bitcoin is secure, what are you doing here?  |

I'm worried!"The whole point of MetaMask is to provide you with a secure environment to interact with smart contracts. You can read that on their very own website: https://metamask.io/MetaMask protects your privacy by default, so it asks for access before interaction with any DApp. 2) "You will run with my money!"Impossible, thanks to the game being a smart contract. The smart contract is immutable, secured by the same technology that guarantees nobody can doublespend bitcoins either. If you don't trust the website, you can clone it yourself through Github, or interact with the smart contract directly on Etherscan. 3) "I don't trust the code!"Then you should get someone you trust to audit it for you. We'll just say our other DApps, linked above, have been running for months, without any bug causing loss of funds. We're not copypasting code from someone else, but writing it from scratch and testing it extensively. 4) "All daily ROIs are scams where only the dev/early adopters can profit"That would give you a good chance next Saturday then, wouldn't it? There's no dev fee in SnailTroi, and you're strongly encouraged to refer your friends and use your friends' referrals. Beyond that, the game itself has several characteristics that should prevent the pot from draining too fast. Can you give an example of a HYIP project that has been running for more than 3 months?
I made a blockchain game inspired by HYIPs. With centralized HYIPs, best case scenario you come in early and make a little bit. Worse case scenario, admins run with the funds. Decentralized doesn't inherently make it better - lots of scams on Tron, for example, because people don't look at the code and blindly trust websites changing functions. But with due diligence, smart contract HYIPs will play exactly as designed. |

Closing in to the 8th Round of SnailFarm 3, we're forced to admit there was no spike in interest for SnailThrone. What a shame. Current SnailThrone holders had to share the 3 ETH in payouts all to themselves. Which might not seem much, until you consider there's a whole 17 ETH in the contract.
