NO, NO and NO! Every single HYIP is a scam and run by a group of scammers! Only the scammer who runs that HYIP is going to get benefited out of it! I see a lot of users are advertising HYIPs in this part of the forum and I think the forum management should take some actions against such users promoting HYIP scams! There were few companies back in 2008 started this boom and I remember an hyip called "Geniusfunds" which was active for around 2 years offering daily returns and ran away with few millions after two years of operating. But after that I could not find any single HYIP which is not scam. Stay out of hyip market at any cost!

It's probably possible but you are playing against a really stacked field in general, some just straight scams. There may be some that are more legitimate that others but that's only if you are very careful. You're better off with almost any other option.

HYIP's are ponzi scheme, and you can only make money if you are an early investor and you are active in referring people but when there is no fund coming in people who are late in investing are left behind, only the admin is the one who will make money in HYIP so better not invest in this kind of investment.

By definition, HYIPs can only run for as long as new money streams in. With centralized HYIPs, best case scenario you come in early and make a little bit. Worse case scenario, admins run with the funds.

Decentralized doesn't inherently make it better - lots of scams on Tron, for example, because people don't look at the code and blindly trust websites changing functions. But with due diligence, smart contract HYIPs will play exactly as designed.

Smart Contracts may be safe since it is publicly available but this doesn't advocate that Smart Contracts HYIP are doing better than the usual ones; most investors are putting their eggs in the contract within the first days after launch and don't re-invest what leads for all players into a loss. Thus, the creator of the contract and its promoter are the only ones who profit. Naturally, the cash flow must be steady in order to profit from.
