PM me with a full list of requirements/info, and maybe we can work something out.
2  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: $2000 loan on: October 23, 2014, 09:20:03 PM
I have been hired to work for uber as a driver I need the down payment for car. I can re pay this loan in 6 months you name your terms. I will video chat with anyone who is serious about investing.

SCAM-POTENTIAL=100%

You have been hired as a driver and you dont get a company car?
One word: SCAMMER

Did you even read the post? Uber doesn't give their drivers cars.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uber_(company)

Then give him the $2000 loan if you trust him so much.  Shocked

I never said I trusted him. But you seem *very* quick to accuse people, and in this case your accusation seems to be based on a misconception that you have. It seemed only fair to correct you.

6  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BTC Capital on: October 22, 2014, 03:34:11 PM
There's a big difference between investing in the stock market at a university and investing in unregulated securities with the money of people you met in a forum. Being decent at one means nothing in terms of the other.
7  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BTC Capital on: October 21, 2014, 11:31:50 PM
You should probably get an actual domain if you want people to take you seriously. Somebody who can't afford $10 a year to seem professional is not going to be trusted with any of my money.
8  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Other websites like btcclicks? on: October 19, 2014, 09:53:33 PM
Do they have to be bitcoin sites? There are plenty of PTCs out there if you just want to advertise.
9  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: There is an epic blockchain.info theft method out there on: October 19, 2014, 09:43:12 PM
Occam's Razor would suggest that there isn't a problem with blockchain.info or with TOR, but rather that you made some sort of error or were just unlucky.
10  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 6 Bitcoin service at 1 site on: October 19, 2014, 08:15:19 PM
To be blunt, you need to have somebody fluent in English rewrite all your materials to even have a chance at being funded. I'm willing to do it, for a fee of course; PM me if you want to discuss further.
11  Economy / Services / Re: coinmarketcap api in word press on: October 19, 2014, 01:40:17 AM
Here is an example that uses the coinmarketcap API, updating the price every 5 minutes. You can modify the code to put the text wherever you want, as long as you keep the id.

Save the code as demo.html and open it with your browser to see it in action.

Code:
<script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.0.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
function updatePrice() {
    $.getJSON("http://whateverorigin.org/get?url=" + encodeURIComponent("http://coinmarketcap-nexuist.rhcloud.com/api/btc") + "&callback=?", function(data) {
        $("#BTCPrice").append("<center>BTC: $" + data['contents']['price']['usd'] + "</center>")
    })
}
$(document).ready(setInterval(updatePrice(), 300000))
</script>
<div id="BTCPrice" style="height:40px;margin:auto;position:absolute;top:-20;left:0;bottom:0;right:0" />

12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Need Auto Payout Script (Possible Bounty) on: April 26, 2014, 01:43:03 PM
Is it necessary that it uses Electrum? Or can it be based on bitcoind?
13  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitCoin Billion EUR IPO Imminent. Invest in FREE Energy with BitCoin on: April 20, 2014, 02:40:15 PM
Huh. So you guys have managed to create this miracle of an energy source, but still can't manage anything other than a virtual office?

Also, there are these neat things called the laws of thermodynamics. Maybe check them out sometime.
14  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [InDev] [ANN] The revival of BitVegas - BTCVegas (BitVegas v2) on: April 19, 2014, 12:22:10 AM
I've toned down our initial estimate of 16 GB as I don't plan to launch with 150 players. However if 4 GB really isn't powerful enough I'll run it on a 8 GB with 50 players. That should be more than enough.
I'm telling your right now your going to get ddosed to hell so prepare for this. Also a bit off topic i know bitvegas had a copyright so you might want to not name it the same thing because you could get in legal trouble. Check if the copyright expired/
We're called BTCVegas, not BitVegas, however I will remove references to BitVegas in the OP to prevent legal trouble.

We will see what we can do about DDoSes.

Like I said in an earlier post, I can develop you some custom DDOS-prevention software. Let me know if you're interested and I can outline how it might potentially work. I think it would be really easy to integrate with your website and effective at preventing attacks.
15  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [InDev] [ANN] The revival of BitVegas - BTCVegas (BitVegas v2) on: April 18, 2014, 01:45:20 AM
The server you're getting isn't powerful enough, I can tell you now.
16  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [InDev] [ANN] The revival of BitVegas - BTCVegas (BitVegas v2) on: April 17, 2014, 02:58:52 PM
All help is appreciated, right now we'll need the following:

- Builders
- People who can staff the server
- People who can try and help develop some plugins, no matter how good or bad your experience with Java is everyone who actually helps with programming will be given an honorary staff rank Smiley

We'll also need some people who are interested in purchasing ranks so that we can get a very good spec server. Right now I'm thinking in the regions of 0.25 BTC for a VIP (Green) rank with a small lounge and higher stake PvP games, and 1 BTC for a VIP+ (Gold) rank with a lot more benefits on the server.

Coinnewbit, it's fine Tongue Right now I have 4 helpers for building, 1 helper who may be able to do a little bit of Java dev.

The max you'll need to spend on a server is $100 a month. I know java, but if you need somebody to secure and set up the VPS/dedicated server I can do that too.
17  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [InDev] [ANN] The revival of BitVegas - BTCVegas (BitVegas v2) on: April 17, 2014, 02:45:09 PM
Let me know how I can help, I'd like to work on some of the stability infrastructure, but I can do any sort of development.
18  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The new bitcoin police on: April 17, 2014, 02:27:45 PM
What's to stop me from paying you to put a competitors site on your blacklist?
19  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [InDev] [ANN] The revival of BitVegas - BTCVegas (BitVegas v2) on: April 17, 2014, 02:19:46 PM
also make sure this is hosted non us and has bulletproof hosting because i no bitvegas was ddosed a lot

One thing you could do, especially if you have multiple IPv4 addresses, is use something like nginx to proxy all of them back to the minecraft server, then script nginx to monitor the amount of traffic through each and turn them on/off to prevent DDOS. Or even better, write a server to sit in front of the minecraft server and generate a custom IP/port for every player that would only work for them, and monitor each one for abuse.
20  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unique(?) Medium/High Risk Investment Opportunity. on: April 16, 2014, 02:58:59 PM
either you don't understand what you're talking about, or you do, and you're a scammer. which one are you?
Finally somebody else who sees this for what it is. Thanks.
Really? If you have a dice bot and rather use that, go ahead. I'm not claiming to guarantee profits everyday. You might go a whole week without seeing profits. THAT'S WHY IT'S GAMBLING.

That being said, I'm funding the pool myself with 0.1 btc and will be updating everyday. :-)

So why should people invest with you instead of in the house? They're doing the exact same thing you are but with better odds.
