1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: January 09, 2015, 06:45:25 AM
I'm also not getting any replies on my emails. Withdraw error lost me 5 bitcoins and they aren't responding. Anyone else having problems getting in contact with Bitfinex?

Update: They responded to my issue and will be looking into it Smiley
2  Economy / Exchanges / Bitfinex Security Question on: January 09, 2015, 02:19:43 AM
After the recent reports from Bitstamp, I'm becoming increasingly worried with storing my coins on any site now. Who's to say Cryptsy or Bitfinex is next. This led me to contact Bitfinex and ask them what they would do in case of a security breach (hacking) and if they would reimburse my coins. After days of waiting, I've received no response so I've decide to come and post a topic. What do you guys think? Is Bitfinex reliable or should I pack up now and leave?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★ [ANN] ECCoin (ECC) ★★ Final 5 Days to Mine ★★ 2 Days to First Stake ★★ on: April 15, 2014, 11:24:51 PM
Most ECC pools turned scam. I quit mining ECC when ecchouse.com turned scam (like most) and prevented cashout just like the previous user. If they stop cashout option, LEAVE IMMEDIATELY! They WILL scam you. I used one of the pools mentioned by user above me and wasn't getting paid honestly. I found a couple blocks in short time and wasn't even rewarded for it. Mining ECC is not worth it and wont reach ROI
4  Economy / Scam Accusations / [SCAM] ecchouse.com on: April 10, 2014, 12:13:41 AM
All was going well with this site until they did an update and now there is no option to withdraw. Just a few days before eccoin PoW stops, they decided to turn to scamming.

Beware and don't mine at ecchouse.com as auto payments have stopped and there is no option to manually withdraw.
5  Economy / Scam Accusations / [SCAMMER] ypool.net on: April 05, 2014, 09:04:26 AM
Just wanted to let everyone know that ypool.net is a scam site.

I mined with 6 GPUs for a few hours and didn't any credit. Just another site to add to the list...
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPA] SpainCoin: freedom for Spain, LAUNCHED! on: March 17, 2014, 05:22:44 PM
LOL @ the people looking for instant millions! Might as well dump everything you have since these troll know so much about the future of crypto. Just ignore these idiots.
7  Economy / Scam Accusations / shibepool.com is scam on: March 11, 2014, 10:41:43 AM
Just mined on shibepool.com for 12+ hours with 3.7 MH/s and didn't earn anything. Definitely a scam site. Avoid!
8  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Be honest, do you miss CPU/GPU mining days? on: March 03, 2014, 10:40:55 PM
Reaper will use GPU & CPU at the same time, which helps me get an extra 40khs.

There are coins like Yacoin, Maxcoin, and the newly GPUcoin that will allow you to use your old equipment to mine with. Coins that focus on CPU don't seem to get much hype right now to drive the price up but that also means you get a steady payout compared to pump/dump coins.
9  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Feb 2013 1 GH/s = Feb 2014 1 TH/s! on: March 03, 2014, 10:27:24 PM
Quite ridiculous if you ask me. Articles like these only reflect the greediness of mankind. All that wasted material being used to calculate meaningless equations for some number to show up on your computer for something that just so happens to be of value now. Too bad ripple (XPR) is centralized.. They had a good idea to include BOINC with their projects to help people. To imagine this person would have dedicated his money and creativity towards the health sector.
10  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: March 03, 2014, 10:15:17 PM

Quote

Angela

Never LightningAsic for me again  Angry
That is some poor customer service for how expensive these things are!

asiabtc, will there be any more powerful miner available in the near future?

He already said they are "working" on a 10Mh and 20Mh version.

Give it time....
Yeah, why dont we wait for them to capitalize first THEN sell them way over priced so you can pray in 6 months you'll hit ROI like the bitcoin ASICs. ASIC ruin any sense of community when it comes to crypto-currency. Scrypt-N FTW
11  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MtGox source code leaked ... on: March 03, 2014, 10:02:36 PM
i wouldn't be surprised if the alleged 20GB of data comes up for sale
I guarantee you it is. There is no doubt the encrypted passwords (if gox even encrypted the database) are being sent through the grinder as we speak. Everyone should change their passwords if they used the same one on Gox!

Glad I didn't complet my registration ont heir website, I was about to sent them my passport, and what's not info, and when I saw how complex the process compared back I back peddaled and didn't confirm the uploaded documents I uploaded at the time
haha. SO... you uploaded your personal information to their servers (Now take time to think about that) but didnt click accept to complete the process. My advice: Get lifelock.
12  Other / Archival / Re: BTC-e Account Hacked!!! on: March 03, 2014, 09:29:42 PM
Your email has been hacked also. You should receive emails when you sign into BTC-E. The attacker used TOR to login to your accounts and take the money. When the money is missing but you still have access with same password means he is just waiting for you to come back so he can take more. There is no way for you to get your coin back. Get Kaspersky & Malwarebytes and safe guard your cold storage reserves. Good rule of thumb: 10% on exchanges, 10% on your computer, and 80% cold storage (offline). Oh and don't forget to use a token / multi-factor authentication when logging into your accounts.

You'd earn more on eBay considering you have all the original packaging.
14  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bter.com cannot withdraw currency/funds on: March 03, 2014, 07:58:37 PM
Good post. Hopefully people can see that BTER is nothing but a bunch of chinese scammers.
15  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTER.COM SCAM? THE THEFT PROOF! on: March 03, 2014, 07:44:39 PM
I was looking for an exchange to trade doge on and tried to sign up at http://bter.com after following that link from coinotron, site has issues I would guess as it wouldn't accept the passwords I gave it to create an account but sort of logged me in anyway without even creating an account! Huh

You can use Vircurex now to trade Dogecoin, but wait for Doge to be added on mcxNow which is much faster and more secure than any other exchange.

Thanks for the pointers,

Tried to sign up with mcxNow, what if name of pet is two words?

Interesting site RS has created though... found an article on coindesk about it.

8 )

McxNow is the best. No other place allows you to earn interest on your balances. I'll never go back to BTER. If pet is two words, make sht up!
16  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bter.com cannot withdraw currency/funds on: February 15, 2014, 02:35:09 AM
I wish I would have found this thread before I decided to exchange anything. Now my money is stuck there and I can't get a response from them. BTER is a scam
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Exchange] Bter.com Announcements [VTC/NXT/MAX added] on: February 14, 2014, 06:56:24 PM
This place scammed me for all my LTC and now its stuck there and I can't withdraw it.
18  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTER.COM SCAM? THE THEFT PROOF! on: February 14, 2014, 01:28:35 PM
BTER.com is a scam! I moved LTC to them and when I went to withdraw it asks for a fund password which is never asked when you signup. I tried multiple times to receive this so called fund password and I didn't get anything. There's no way to change your email and if they decide to just ignore you, your money is gone. Avoid at all cost.
