Do you think the Satoshi p3nis will sell?

What do you think would you bid on it?

Is there still a size limit to announcement images? I read it was 2.5 mb per image but is that still true?

How does it work when you get your token listed on an exchange. Does the exchange require you give them a large amount of your tokens so they have liquidity? Who gets the money when they're selling them?

If you create a coin with 100 million total supply, how much do you recommend giving per person in an Airdrop to get things going?
|
|
|
If you create an erc20 token with 20 million supply, how do you distribute it? I understand doing an airdrop, but that would maybe only give away 1 million. So I don't get how these new tokens are trading on exchanges...how did they distribute their token so quickly?

What are the best exchanges to try and get your new token listed on? I'm talking about realistic exchanges that you actually have a chance with.

If I hire a developer to create a fork of Bitcoin with a small premine. How do I make sure I get my premine and that the developer hasn't ripped me off. Is there a way to know for sure that I have received my premine? What would be the steps when launching the network to verify the developer hasn't done anything 'tricky'? Thanks!

Okay thanks for all the replies. Now lets take a coin like Bitcoin Gold. Which has a daily trade volume of ~28 Mil. What's the most someone could sell at a time without causing panic? Because even on the exchanges that do millions in trades a day, there doesn't seem to be any sell orders for more that $1000.
|
|
|
If you have $400,000 worth of an Altcoin, that has a daily trading volume of $100,000, how do you offload it? Because it seems like a coin with a medium amount of trading volume only has maybe $500 trades at the most. So I don't get how someone could offload a large amount?

So the fee was 0.0024 btc last week, then when bitcoin and the fiat markets started crashing, fee was raised to 0.0045. It's just a nasty thing to do at a time like this. Even from a 'symbolic' stand point - Not Nice!

Absolutely disgusting that as the word is in chaos - people are loosing their jobs - The moderators on this forum decide to double the paid membership fee! Even though the price of bitcoin is down - They should still be HALVING the fee - not doubling it! To the moderators - You should be ASHAMED of yourselves! ~ Wonder how long until this post gets removed.

Does the exchange need to be informed of the fork ahead of time, or can they credit their customer accounts long after the fork date? Thanks
|
|

Hello, I have a question. If you fork a coin, such as bitcoin or ripple, to create your own altcoin. Do exchanges need to be on board before it launches in order to prepare for crediting their customer's accounts with the new coin? Or can exchanges decide after the launch, if the coin is gaining steam, maybe even months afterwards, to then credit their customers accounts with the new coin?
Thanks in advance!

Is anyone going to answer my question regarding forking at a reduced rate. Or does no one know the answer...? So far people are just responding about how forks are worthless...which is not what I was asking...

I know when you fork a coin you can give the new coin out at a 1:1 ratio, or even a 1:1000. BUT can you give it out at a 1:0.1 ratio? So it's a REDUCED ratio. For example you hard fork litecoin (60 mil supply), but make the new supply at only 6 mil. Then give the new coin out to anyone holding litecoin at a 1:0.1 ratio? Some tech specs on how you can do this would be great! Sorry if I sound like a total newb

Can you hard fork a coin such as litecoin (which has about 60 mil supply), but change the new coin's supply to that of bitcoin (about 17.5 mil), and then have anyone who owns litecoin receive the forked coin on a proportional basis (if you had 1 litecoin you now get 0.3 new coin)? All the hard forks I see seem to be at a 1:1 ratio...So is this possible to do? Please Explain. Thanks!

Hey Marlborozo - FYI I created a new account thinking that might solve it. I'm guessing you went in and viewed my profile because I'm a female and you're probably so lonely living in your parents basement.
