1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Accepting multiple cryptocurrencies in ICO on: April 19, 2019, 04:23:16 AM
I am wondering some ICO's accept only ETH. Some accepts BTC, ETH, LTC and other cryptocurrencies as well. Does accepting more currencies in ICO plays a roles in its success.

Also Ethereum's smart contract are built for accepting only ETH. How other ICO's are accepting multiple cryptocurrencies and pays tokens accordingly? Do they have to maintain a sheet of who pays in what currencies in a sheet and allocate tokens accordingly. It seems to be a hard manual process.

Did click or watch the video.

However, we really need those classifications? Are we not contented on what we have right now? Yes, everything evolves but for me I'm happy to where I'm right now, just saying.

We are struggling to reach even Mars now. Just want to have those technologies so that we can explore other galaxies. We are tiny and limiting ourselves to a very small space among vast space outside.

I am happy that we are the early era of Technology in Human civilization.
I am sad that we are not even Type 1 now.
We are type 0.72 civilization! When can we be Type 3?! Sad

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How ICO's decide what countries to blacklist for before their sale? on: April 13, 2019, 01:24:49 PM
A: I can't understand completely. Can you explain it.

Yes. Basically i am pointing trust issues. If a project says they blocked more countries thinking it is a legit project and if not then it is not legit. Do investors think in that way?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best time to launch ICO ANN thread in Bitcointalk on: April 13, 2019, 12:30:05 PM
Do not care about when to post, it will be automatically bumped to the first page after some one replies to the thread.  Smiley

I think time plays an important role in ICO's success. Need to know when most of the ICO's are posting their ANN thread.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Best time to launch ICO ANN thread in Bitcointalk on: April 13, 2019, 11:56:17 AM
Everyone knows Bitcointalk is the best place to launch an ICO project apart from listing sites.  What is the best time and day in a week to post the Announcement thread like at some time more users will be active in Bitcointalk so that making announcement at that time will have more traction towards our project?

Also what are the important points an Announcement post should cover about the project?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How ICO's decide what countries to blacklist for before their sale? on: April 13, 2019, 10:34:10 AM
I have seen ICO's that block mostly USA, North Korea, China and some Middle East countries. Also i have seen ICO's that block more than 10 countries. So its confusing for me why some countries are restricted and why some countries aren not restricted.

  • How they decide what countries they are blocking?
  • What's the difference between ICO's that block say 4 countries or more than 10 countries?
  • Does this come into factor when i am investing in such projects?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: April 05, 2019, 03:22:57 PM
This totally depends on the type of wallets you use and the level of awareness you have on wallets.

  • Web Wallet
  • Exchange Wallet
  • Desktop Wallet
  • Hardware Wallet

There are cases where even hardware wallet can be compromised when you put your seeds around. This totally depends on the awareness you have on how different types of wallets works and knowledge on how to secure it.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an ICO go for[BOUNTY] thread first and [ANN] thread later? on: April 05, 2019, 05:51:56 AM
I have seen almost all of the ICO's going for ANN thread first and announcing BOUNTY later at least after a week. But some have gone for bounty first and ANN later. Is it necessary to announce ANN first or is it some kind of strategy?
ANN thread is more important than the bounty thread so it will always come first. If the project does not have an ANN thread, where will you get your updates from here? So bounty is always an option in most projects

Yes. Understood that ANN matters more than BOUNTY. What if ICOs' releasing BOUNTY first to increase the community base and launching ANN in about week after?

Like as i said Cryptoindex and Deepcloud AI where they have websites and Whitepaper V1 and they head for Bounty. Takes some time to Improve website, prototype and Whitepaper and releasing full fledged ANN thread after.

When someone doing bounty first and the ANN later then they are doing for making money alone so better stay away from those projects.

Ok. I have seen some players like Cryptoindex, Deepcloud AI announced BOUNTY prior to ANN. Think this is some kind of strategy!

12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Privacy-first Internet! Are we there yet? on: April 04, 2019, 09:15:40 AM
Not yet. People tried it.
  • They introduced TOR for user privacy still it's centralized but protects user identity.
  • Torrents for file sharing. It's going well.
  • And now Blockchain for totally Decentralized internet. Have to wait for it to see the results.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO are good for startups seeking funding. Is IEO efficient enough? on: April 04, 2019, 08:58:25 AM
But I wonder, what will happen after the IEO is finished, did the tokens or coins will get a list on that exchange or they need to wait for a while so the investor can sell the token or coin to make a profit.

They initially will make a deal with exchanges so it will get listed once IEO ends so that investors can start trading. Am i correct?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ICO are good for startups seeking funding. Is IEO efficient enough? on: April 03, 2019, 12:57:13 PM
As everyone knows ICO's are good for startups seeking to raise investment for their products. Nowadays IEO slowly gain popularity. Still i am confused which one is effective enough.

Also is it necessary to use Blockchain technology for raising ICO investment?
