1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 5 Essential Tips for Successful Trading in the Crypto Market on: February 28, 2023, 05:13:51 PM
1. Do your research: Before investing in any cryptocurrency, it's important to understand its technology, use case, and potential risks. Read whitepapers, follow news and social media feeds, and understand market trends.

Even if you do all that, there is a big chance that altcoin will fail. Instead, buy bitcoin.

2. Diversify your portfolio: Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Consider investing in different cryptocurrencies and other asset classes to spread out your risk.

Investing in other cryptocurrencies is not  diversification at all.

Remember, the cryptocurrency market is highly volatile and can be risky. It's important to approach trading with caution and always do your own research before investing."

95% of all traders are at loss so if you want to have some fun with your money, better gamble. If not, stick to bitcoin.

Also, please reduce the image size if not completely remove it as there is no need for it, it serve no purpose.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still hunt for airdrops? on: February 27, 2023, 01:40:40 PM
Best is to avoid altcoins all together and just stick to bitcoin that you store in open source wallet like Electrum or even better hardware wallet.  That way you dont have to worry about these types of airdrop scams
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first pizza purchase using Bitcoin in lightning network on: February 26, 2023, 04:00:14 PM
I don't like Pizza, I don't spend my bitcoin for Pizza but will probably spend it on something that will benefit me in the long term.

I think this is the first time i met someone who doesnt like pizza.  Grin

For whatever reason, I'm happy to hold onto my bitcoin so far instead of spending them and I tend to use fiat for any transaction. In the future it will only be different, and I hope we all benefit from it.

If no one uses bitcoin, how can we expect it to enter into mainstream? If everyone just keep holding, 20 years into future no store will accept it.

Good luck with your journey. I was also newbie once here and i know that bitcointalk can be confusing place at the beginning, especially if you never visited other forums before.
Take your time, don't rush and when in doubt ask question and more experienced members will help you.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is owned! on: November 26, 2020, 10:45:41 AM
The question what's just happening to Bitcoin dumping?

What you expected, that bitcoin will go up indefinitely forever and those that bought at lower price wont take their profit?Nothing is happening that we didnt see many times before with bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency. It has to go down a bit before it goes up again. You should see this  correction as a way to acumulate more bitcoin. People started fomoing and beliving in those 100,000 dollars predictions from big banks.
To sum it up,business as usual.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blocking accounts by PayPal for crypto activity on: November 26, 2020, 10:40:42 AM
What a dirty tactic by Paypal, but it was expected because they cant change their habits over night. They just want people to hold bitcoin there, but not to trade and make profit.
I hope that more people will realise how shitty Paypal is and they will start using other ways to buy, sell and store their crypto.

8  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tennis G O A T: Who Will Eventually Be Considered the Greatest of These Three? on: November 25, 2020, 04:05:09 PM
Some studies says vegan diet all alone cannot sustain longer when your having sports activities, you should mix it with lean meat instead. You can turn to fish if you don't want poultry animals which feed with processed feeds. However, if you're talking about the ability of these athletes I believed Nadal is more energetic and powerful over those mentioned guys.

Nadal is probably physically most dominant tennis player ever, he is a beast so its not even close comparison between him and those two other guys.It is a miracle that he is still so good when you think that he is already 34 years old and how much he uses his body in every match. What Cristiano Ronaldo is in footbal, thats Nadal in tennis.

Djokovic should really give up on that vegan crap and  start eating normally.Professional sport is not healthy in general and you can make it even worse if you dont have proper diet.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 25, 2020, 03:48:59 PM
There is no team in England that is favorite against Liverpool so i dont know why you expected Leicester to win this.

agree on this, Leicester count not be taken as a favorite against Liverpool, any time, any where
they had some good show-ups this season, but Liverpool is a much better team, and they proved that on the pitch, no matter Sallah in or out, Leicester could have issues with one player in or out, but Liverpool should not think much about that, it could be seen with Atalanta, it could be seen yesterday

nevertheless, Tottenham is good this season, and they could take this title, not a fan of Murinho, nor Tottenham, but they are playing very good, after first round shake-up by Everton

I am not fan of Mourinho either, but if not Liverpool winning, i would like for Tottenham to win the Premier League. They are among best teams for years but every year they lack something.Who knows, maybe this year will be theirs but for that to happen i think they should only focus on that and ignore everything else including fa cup and europa league, like this game against Ludogorets should be played with b team. Then maybe they have some chances.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 23, 2020, 07:10:26 AM
Leciester city  disappoint me yesterday I was expecting the team to defeat Liverpool just as they defeated Man City in some couple of weeks ago,  however they became a shadow of former self and couldn't score a consolation goal for bettors who staked GG (both team to score) despite the fact their host lost some quality players due to injury.
I doubt if this team will challenge for EPL title this season with their inconsistent and lacklustre performances yesterday Brendan Rodgers has a lot of work to do on his team to up their game.

There is no team in England that is favorite against Liverpool so i dont know why you expected Leicester to win this.It is true that Leicester was bad but then again it is not easy to be good against quality sides as Liverpool.  In the end, i dont think that anyone sees them as legit title contenders despite some good performances lately. Their goal should be to finsih in top4 and qualify for champions league and if they succeed in that it will be successful season for them.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit & Difficulties 😑 on: November 23, 2020, 07:02:41 AM
I needed merit so badly but i can't earn it i am trying to post in BTT with new topic but It's really not working .

Now I really need help from you guyes,

That how can i earn Merit?

I dont  think that you tried badly as you said.If you did you would write more posts outside bounty board. Show some interest in cryptocurrencies outside of bounties, ask questions,be helpful and useful part of community and eventually you will get merit.

At least you did first step and asked about this things and that is also positive.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life, gambling and trials. on: November 21, 2020, 12:28:52 PM

13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: November 19, 2020, 07:30:24 AM
Even though Iceland have indeed surprised many football fans around the world when they managed to qualify for the last World Cup which was held in Russia, but it seems that it is quite a huge burden for Iceland to be playing in the Uefa Nations League being placed in League A, as Iceland have struggled to score goals against other teams and have also lost all their matches in the group. Maybe the players of Iceland would find it much better to play in League B after their relegation from League A.

I think you might be onto something.Even though I like Iceland, they might be overachieving in the last few years so for them League A was simply too much. League B seems more suitable in the long run. And if they are good enough, they will get back to League A.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot can take place of Ethereum? on: November 19, 2020, 07:26:50 AM
I heard people talking about Polkadot a lot lately, calling it Ethereum killer and other similar names, but we heard those things before in the past.Same thing was said about EOS,ADA,BNB and few others whil all this Ethereum is still at top of similar platforms.

Polkadot price could inrceas a lot,but my money is still on Ethereum and i dont see anynthing overthrowing it anytime soon.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof - The long Hodl on: November 17, 2020, 09:25:22 PM
I don't know about the others, but people around me mostly hodl all their btc and they didn't sell during bear market. All this patience is finally paying off. I always planned that once btc reaches 20k that i will sell at least half, but now i am not so sure since end of 2021 might be like end of 2017 and then even $100,009 is possible.

So in the end i will probably  just go on with hodl.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can people rebel against bitcoin? on: November 14, 2020, 08:07:56 AM
Last few months I saw an article, that make me shocked, how some killer open their mouth in the court to tell the judge how the woman paid them with bitcoin to her husband that is making court to start investigating how the transaction was made to carry out such act. Assume it's fiat money she use to pay the killer, do you think the court will still like to investigate the  type of currency used for the operation?
India is trying to Re-ban bitcoin in the country just because some people said is a scam currency.
What is your opinion?

I dont think that it matters at all,the way killer got paid to do the work, or that it would bitcoin somehow look bad. They do try to smear bitcoin by saying stupid things like bitcoin is used only by criminals or something like that, but no one buys that anymore and we can see that by the bitcoin price.

So no, i dont think people will rebel against bitcoin, on the contrary once they learn few things about it they will see bitcoin=freedom.

17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: can you rate trust wallet? on: November 14, 2020, 08:03:28 AM
I use many walled and trust is one of them. But since trust wallet is owned by binance company and binance is centralized, I would count trust wallet as centralized wallet. That's why trust wallet can't be good for long term saving and I prefer decentralized wallets. In the other hand, I can't recommended binance savings because even if they are honest with users, they are centralized and this can't be good. Also don't forget the rule saying never keep your funds on exchanges for long or mid-term unless for trading purpose.

Just because Trust wallet is own by Binance it doesnt mean that it is centralised wallet. You own your private key when you make Trust wallet, not Binance. So it is not the same like depositing money on Binance exchange. IF you don't think that money is safe  in Trust wallet, then you shouldnt trust any hardware wallets, as companies are behind them too.

I just want to add that I dont think it is good idea to hold funds long term in any mobile wallet,i only use them as hot wallet.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: can you rate trust wallet? on: November 13, 2020, 07:21:21 AM
is it safe for me to store my coins in trust wallet or i should let it in savings account in binance?

Since Trust wallet is owned by Binance, I think that it is pretty safe and i am using it myself on mobile phone. Probably even safer than soring your money On Binance because when crypto is on your wallet you at least own private keys so no one else can take your money, while Binance can freeze your accounts, or can be hacked and you can loose everything that way. So, your own wallet>>exchange.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling = just for fun or an investment method? on: November 12, 2020, 04:32:14 PM
Gambling can be investemnt methid if you know what you are doing and have very strict control. But still, I wouldnt advise anyone to see it that way as things can get out of control really fast.It is better to see gambling as fun activity or it can grow into addiciton.

If you want to invest in something, buy bitcoin and put it someplace safe.
