Can we have an update on the scale of Tokenlot hack and are funds stolen from ICO lost or recovered, also I’m assuming this only effected tokens bought with ether? There was 20,000 ether in that account, was those funds from AML Bitcoin ICO or from other Tokenlot ICO? Will AML Bitcoin investors be effected by this hack?

Right now it is too early to speculate what happened to those few orders with Tokenlot.  While they are investigating this further, we are no longer using their ICO payment platform and are currently using ICObox technology. All AML Tokens are secured and all buyers will see them shortly.

I sincerely hope that who has bought the token (like me) and has received the confirmation email from amlbitcoin@tokenlot.com including id transaction has no problems. Get this point I would not have any surprises and would like tokenlot to send tokens to our wallets as soon as possible! So do not you work anymore with tokenlot in case of problems who will respond?

Quote "So do not you work anymore with tokenlot in case of problems who will respond?"

At this stage, it is really difficult for us to answer this question. Above all, we will choose the best available method to allow our supporters to buy and obtain AML Tokens in a secure manner.

*********STOLEN FUNDS UPDATE*********

As predicted by people on this message board, the AML Bitcoin team has taken control of my concerns and the issue has been satisfactorily resolved.

For those of you that are curious about what happened, it appears the the TokenLot web site has a security breech wherein the auto-generated ETH address in their payment system was replaced by an address which they do not retain control of. It also appears that several users buying into the AML Bitcoin project were affected and I would think it likely that many other ICOs were affected in a similar manner.

I would like to make it clear that this is NOT the fault of the AML Bitcoin team.

I would like to express my apologies for the inflammatory nature of my posts. I understand that the ICO purchasing system was being run by a third party(and I understood that the whole time) but my suspicions that there was a security breech meant that I need to be as abrasive as possible in order to create a sense of urgency and cause the AML Bitcoin team to take this issue seriously. My desire was primarily to prevent other people from being affected by this and I hope that I was successful in that.

Regarding the AML Bitcoin team and the project; I have been eagerly following AML Bitcoin for months and, despite the problems I've encountered, I am still very much interested in being part of the project.
I hope that the speed, patience and politeness of their replies despite the borderline abusive nature of my posts is an indicator of the manner in which they run this project in the future.

Again, my sincerest apologies to the AML Bitcoin team and any users that I may have offended.

We are very pleased to know that Raidei is happy with our responses. In fact, AML BitCoin team is also very grateful to Raidei's posts, which have alerted us that there could be some problems during our ICO, and such problems may affect some AML Token buyers. This allows us to take prompt action.

Hi,

The AML Bitcoin Team is working on a statistics on how many AML Token buyers are still waiting for the confirmation emails.

If you (or your friend) have purchased AML Token and are still waiting for the confirmation email (> 1 hour),

please email us (or tell your friend to email us) the information related to the purchase, including

name,
email address,
Payment platform used: TokenLot or icoBox
payment address such as ETH address (where did you send your payment to),
amount of ETH sent,
purchase time,
and as much information as possible

to info@amlbitcoin.com

Thank you very much for your attention.

I made a small token purchase on the 9th of October to see if I received any confirmation email or tokens before I committed to a larger purchase and I have yet to receive anything. It's been a week now and the web site says that I should receive confirmation within 12 hours. The currency that I sent has not been returned to my account so when will I receive confirmation?

I did not pay through shapeshift, I paid with ETH using the basic payment system that the site provided. I used a valid email and, I received no confirmation, the ETH I paid has not been returned to my account.

Hello Raidei,

If you have not received a confirmation email of your transaction within 12/24 hr:

Please send your transaction information to: amlbitcoin@tokenlot.com and info@amlbitcoin.com

Include the used email, the AML Token wallet receiving address you have given us and any other relevant information.

Someone will then get back to you soon.

AML Bitcoin teammate,

Please forward Raidei's email to me as well as any related information. Thanks.

I've emailed as instructed and included the email I provided, token receiving address and ETH transaction detail. I look forward to the reply.

Have you checked your "spam" mailbox? Has it gone to the wrong place?

I'm not an idiot. Obviously I checked all of my mail boxes to ensure that I didn't miss the email. In reply to the email I was instructed to send I received:

Quote
Unfortunately the transaction you are referring too does not belong to a TokenLot payment address.

Can you please check your records to see where the ETH may have been sent.

I verified the send address several times prior to sending and have been involved in cryptos for nearly 5 years and never made a mistake on a transaction. I have no reason to believe anything other than this ICO is either a SCAM or their purchase system is BROKEN and effectively steals money from people who are trying to take part in their "project".

I provided the email and receiving address that I used and the etherscan.io transaction record which shows the send and receive address for the transaction.

Additionally, there seems to be no way for me to recover the web page which provided the ETH address during the transaction due to the way it was generated so it is impossible for me to verify at this point without going back in time and grabbing a screenshot.

DO NOT BUY THIS COIN. IT IS A SCAM.

Edit: It appears the the funds I sent have since been moved into an account that has nearly 20,000 ETH, so the address that I was provided was legitimate and the funds I sent have either been sent to an exchange or an account with a huge balance. It's been months since i sent any ETH transactions so it's impossible that I accidentally sent it to the wrong address and **even more impossible** that I just happened to send them to this address randomly. THIS ICO IS A COMPLETE SCAM DO NOT BUY YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Please accept our sincere apology for your unpleasant purchase experience.

I will ask my colleagues.. What has been happening.

Please kindly note that for this AML Token ICO, TokenLot is responsible for all the purchase steps (including payment steps) for us (i.e., NAC Foundation).
If there is any error in the ICO process, it is not related to the legitimacy of AML BitCoin project.
However, it is our obligation to follow up your case.

It appears that your case is a bit complicated. Please give me a few days to work on this.

If you have sent your transaction information to amlbitcoin@tokenlot.com, please kindly forward your email to info@amlbitcoin.com

Only the TokenLot team can read those emails sent to amlbitcoin@tokenlot.com.

If you have already sent your transaction information to info@amlbitcoin.com, I will receive a copy of it very soon, and will follow up this asap.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AML Bitcoin Token Sale Main Thread - Launches 6th October @ 00:00 PST on: October 11, 2017, 06:52:44 PM
Interesting project, I read the whitepaper but I have some questions (which to my surprise haven’t been asked already);

1. 2.3 Identity Verification: The Digital Identity Trust Network (DTN)

DTN appears to be a separate entity to the NAC foundation and processes the verification of users (through government issued documents and biometric means) needed to get access to the AML blockchain.

Could you please elaborate about this; how can I trust DTN? Is there any regulatory oversight on this company? Is it being audited? Do they store all the ID data on their own servers and on the NAC servers (and how do they communicate)? And how are the costs of verifying AML users being covered?

2.3.2 Explains how users can identify; 'they select their Country of residence, and State or Province'.
How do I know my country is on that list? If not I cannot convert AML Token to AML Bitcoin.

2. 3.6.4  Locking the AML BitCoin Accounts of Suspected Criminals

Reading this part, it seems to enter quite a grey area, with has 2 downsides;
I. there seems to be a lot of non-automated work associated with it, do you plan on having a whole team on this? And how do you plan on covering the ongoing costs associated with it?
II. If NAC may deem something suspicious, can they lock my funds? Or is it only 'Upon a legitimate request from a governmental body'?
P.S. I'm not talking about 3.5 (because I understand being on some terrorist list, NAC will lock the account but that is no grey area).

3. 6.2 Limitations of Bitcoin and Other Cryptocurrencies

In this part you cover 3 subjects of limitations (on which I agree), but on only one (6.2.3. Pseudonymous/Anonymous Property of Cryptocurrency and Illegal Activities) seems AML bitcoin to serve a solution, do I read that right?

4. Although not in the whitepaper, but it was stated (in the FAQ I believe) that all the centralized (ID) information is not stored on front-end servers of NAC, which is nice, but is of course not a guarantee for anything.
How do I know this information is really stored securely, not only in a technical sense, but also in procedural form (which employees have access under what conditions, etc.); are you audited by an external company?

5. Having 50 million of AML bitcoin to burn trough will ensure NAC not going broke soon, but how are you planning long term to fund yourself?

6. Because every AML Bitcoin is stored in multi sign addresses (me and NAC having the keys), it is absolutley vital NAC will keep functioning, what provisions are made to that end? Things like disagreements/infighting (everybody leaving NAC) or the whole NAC team is involved in a plane crash or something..

Let me try to address your concerns briefly here. Otherwise, it will be an extremely lengthy post.

1. 2.3 Identity Verification: The Digital Identity Trust Network (DTN)
Brief Answer: The DTN involves a third-part company, who has experience and expertise to verify the submitted identity proof document. The third-party company’s method should have been audited. Most data are stored on the NAC servers (not front-end servers). All personal information is encrypted before storage in our servers. Some data will be stored using the IPFS protocol. For communication between Internet interfaces for ID data submission and the 3rd-party ID verification platform, network traffic encryption will be involved. We will follow the ISO/IEC 29100:2011 standards (Information technology - Security techniques - Privacy framework), and the system will be subjected to third-party accreditation. Some of the costs of verifying AML users are from the ICO. Some of the costs are covered by the profits from our business. Please refer to the white paper for the basic ideas about our business plan.

2.3.2 Explains how users can identify; 'they select their Country of residence, and State or Province'.
How do I know my country is on that list? If not I cannot convert AML Token to AML Bitcoin.
Brief Answer: (1) If you are a resident/citizen in a country in the OFAC sanctioned country list, you cannot convert AML Tokens to AML BitCoins. (2) If you are staying in a country in the OFAC sanctioned country list, you cannot convert AML Tokens to AML BitCoins. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more details. https://amltoken.com/aml-sale-terms-and-conditions/

2. 3.6.4  Locking the AML BitCoin Accounts of Suspected Criminals
Reading this part, it seems to enter quite a grey area, with has 2 downsides;
I. there seems to be a lot of non-automated work associated with it, do you plan on having a whole team on this? And how do you plan on covering the ongoing costs associated with it?
Brief Answer: This is a very good question. We have thought of a solution on covering the ongoing costs associated with it. Unfortunately, owing to the trade secret, I could not disclose detailed information to you here. I hope you could understand. However, you can think in way that NAC Foundation will develop its business to generate profits, and the ongoing costs will be covered by the profits of our business. You could refer to our whitepaper for the basic ideas of our business plan.

II. If NAC may deem something suspicious, can they lock my funds? Or is it only 'Upon a legitimate request from a governmental body'?
P.S. I'm not talking about 3.5 (because I understand being on some terrorist list, NAC will lock the account but that is no grey area).
Brief Answer: For suspicious transactions, we are not planning to lock those funds. However, we are planning to report those suspicious activities to the related government agencies, e.g. FinCEN in United States. We will only lock those funds upon a legitimate request from a governmental body.

3. 6.2 Limitations of Bitcoin and Other Cryptocurrencies
In this part you cover 3 subjects of limitations (on which I agree), but on only one (6.2.3. Pseudonymous/Anonymous Property of Cryptocurrency and Illegal Activities) seems AML bitcoin to serve a solution, do I read that right?
Brief Answer: I hope that I understand your question correctly. If not, please correct me. AML BitCoin is designed to serve as a solution for the illegal activities related to the pseudonymous/anonymous property of cryptocurrency.

Brief Answer: Correct. Centralized (ID) information will not be stored on front-end servers of NAC. We will follow the ISO/IEC 29100:2011 standards (Information technology - Security techniques - Privacy framework), and the system will be subjected to third-party accreditation.

5. Having 50 million of AML bitcoin to burn trough will ensure NAC not going broke soon, but how are you planning long term to fund yourself?
Brief answer: We are well aware of the need of long term fund to keep the AML BitCoin running. Please refer to whitepaper for the basic ideas of our business plan. AML BitCoin’s operation will be supported by the profits generated from our business.

Brief answer:  The key answer for your question is the “provision”, that NAC is going to make at the end. We have a plan to build one or more valuable assets as the provision to ensure there will be sufficient fund that supports the continuous operation of the AML BitCoin system. As such information is trade-secret, I could not disclose in details here. Moreover, here we have to emphasize that the market price of the AML BitCoin must not be linked to those provisions, and AML BitCoin holders should not expect that the acquisition of AML BitCoin will result in profit because of those provisions. The price of AML BitCoin should be mainly dictated by the market force. This is to ensure that AML BitCoin is not considered as a security.

Thank you for your question.

The counter at the ICO webpage is being reconciled and also as we sort out some of the technical issues with the site.
It will be back very soon. Hopefully within 24 hours.

Reading accusations of a scam because tokens were not received straight after buying in ICO is just crazy, obviously a newbie but never the less it’s normal for coins to be distributed after ICO and in some cases much later, check out Tezos there tokens will come around 6 months after there ICO,for obvious reasons most tokens can’t be listed on exchanges till after ICO period, I read about this project and expected to receive tokens after ICO because that’s what was stated,I know the team have said there looking at releasing tokens early which will keep some happy but until they get listed on exchange after ICO there worthless,it’s really quite annoying reading newbies throwing scam accusations about every time they fail to do correct research and understand how process works,if your calling this project a scam you don’t deserve to be here.

LOL... Which company do you work for? NAC Foundation from Las Vegas? Good work....
BTW: I made a purchase AMLTokens.....but  I have not gotten any confirmation email about this transaction. The company may not exist at all tomorrow....

Let's me make use of this opportunity to thank you as well as other people in BitcoinTalk Forum for purchasing AML Tokens from us.

According to our communication with TokenLot, "no" confirmation emails have "not" been sent out. If you still haven't got your confirmation email, please contact us or provide your purchase information to us at info@amlbitcoin.com. Or you could leave your purchase information through personal message (PM).

If there are other people in the BitcoinTalk Forum having similar problem, please also contact us asap.
We will help you to follow up.

another money grab and exit ico

All funds are held in Escrow, and tokens will be distributed a little after the end of the Token Sale to participants.
We are discussing the possibility for early delivery (i.e., without waiting after the end of the Token Sale. I will keep everybody updated here.
One issue is that this token sales involve Escrow.. We need to see how this can be properly handled in the case of early delivery.

This is to ensure that we won't be SCAMMERS.

We spent a lot of effort and money to obtain the patents for our AML features for cryptocurrency.

If you are interested to learn more about our technology and patent, you can visit:

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AML BitCoin Token Sale is now LIVE ! on: October 08, 2017, 08:20:16 AM
In order to participate in this Token sale, there are a few pre-requisites.

Firstly, you need to download the AML Token Wallet (based off Bitcoin Core v.15) on Windows, Linux or Mac from https://www.amltoken.com/.

This will need to be installed, opened, and the blockchain downloaded (which only takes a minute or so, even on slow connections). Note, some anti-virus software flags Bitcoin Core as a miner malware, so you may need to whitelist, or grant an exemption for this.

Once installed go to File | Receiving addresses, and generate a AML Token Wallet address. Once you have this information, you can read through the terms and conditions below to understand what the Token is, and if you are happy, accept the terms and conditions to be sent to our distribution partner.

On their site, you click buy tokens, put in the amount of tokens you would like (currently priced 300ATK/ETH), enter in your name, email address and the AML Token Wallet address you generated earlier. You will then be brought to a screen with an Ethereum Wallet screen. If you use this, send the ETH to the address. If you would like to use Bitcoin, or a wide multitude of altcoins supported by Shapeshift, you can choose Pay with Altcoins. On this screen, it will carry over the Ethereum value you chose based on your token purchase. Select the crypto you want to use, allow the bottom of the screen to load, and then proceed to check out by sending the relevant transaction. The progress of the transaction will happen on screen. Please note: Due to the demand for AML Bitcoin and a backlog our team is going through, it can take up to 12 hours to receive the confirmation email.

If you have any questions, please contact info@amlbitcoin.com, via @AMLBitcoin on Twitter, facebook.com/AMLBitcoin  or talk directly to a member of the team on Telegram or Bitcointalk.

Thank you for your interest in the AML BitCoin token sale, and your support for our version of a fully KYC/AML/Patriot Act compliant cryptocurrency, with physically identified Biometric identity, and the applications it has to bring cryptocurrencies into mainstream usage among Public and Private Enterprises around the world.

Hello. I made a purchase of $ XXX worth of "AMLToken". ( www.amlbitcoin.com ) Now it has been  47 hours and I still have 0 coins in my wallet. I am just really worried !  The whole thing is a scam ?  Shocked

My question:

Dear fellow investors,We are sending this email to confirm your contribution to the AML Bitcoin ICO.If you are receiving this email, you fell into the 10% of investors who did not get a confirmation email for their order. Due to high volume, our email server got bogged down and did not generate the emails for you. Rest assured, your contribution is accounted for. We will be resending the confirmation emails which include the amount of ETH you contributed as well as the amount of tokens you purchased. Please allow 12-24 hours to receive this email.
Thank you,
The TokenLot Team

My question:

Hi,
31 hours after receiving Purchase Confirmation, my AML Token Core wallet shows Available 0.00000000 ATK, Pending 0.00000000 ATK, Total 0.00000000 ATK.
ATK Explorer search for wallet address shows Error!
I'm sorry, that's not good for your business....
Regards

Reply:

This is because we have not sent the coins yet. Coins are supposed to be sent after the token sale ends.
We appreciate your support and will try to see if it is possible for us to release them prior to token sale end date.
Thank you,
Aml Bitcoin Team

My question:

What???
Are You Serious? You got the money from "xxxxxxx" people, but there are no AMLtokens available ?!
Oh my god...That's a scam !???

WOW ! What does it mean?  " Coins are supposed to be sent after the token sale ends."   Shocked  Shocked  Shocked We were not informed about this fact. The buyers expect AMLTokens instantly!

BTW Info from www.amlbitcoin.com :

Phase 1 ) AML Tokens Available: 13,500,000
Phase 2 ) AML Tokens Available: 20,000,000
Phase 3 ) AML Tokens Available: 40,000,000
The AML BitCoin ICO crowdsale ends in 37 days.

-----------------------

If we have to wait for the tokens will be sold out, how long will that take? 37 days or 6 months?   Huh
It's very suspicious...... Why the buyer's wallets are downloaded and installed on a PC?  Why was written on the web, that we should wait 12 hours, then 24 hours? .... and now I've been informed that Coins are supposed to be sent after the token sale ends.   ?  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked  WTF ?
Clearly  www.atkexplorer.com  is not applicable, but transactions is visible. (Still showing the same amounts 0.00000100 AMLTK) These are fake transactions ? This is a great business idea....
I would like "NAC Foundation from Las Vegas" to explain what we should think about this. The attempts to deceive the buyers and to try to hide the truth must stop.
My money is gone — hijacked to an unknown account in some foreign country .... and I have not gotten any confirmation email about this transaction. What is the best way to collect money from people? - The business world today revolves around trust and your most powerful asset is the people who trust you.....

Hi, Let me to answer your questions one by one. Please accept our apology for any confusion and hesitation caused.

Q1: I bought XXX ATK . When will they be delivered?
Answer: We (AML BitCoin team) are arranging the delivery shortly. Definitely, you don't need to wait until the end of the ICO.

Q2: 31 hours after receiving Purchase Confirmation, my AML Token Core wallet shows Available 0.00000000 ATK, Pending 0.00000000 ATK, Total 0.00000000 ATK.
ATK Explorer search for wallet address shows Error! I'm sorry, that's not good for your business....
Answer: The "error" message is no normal. This is because there has been "no" related transactions that have been recorded in the blockchain. After we send out the ATKs to your address. When you use the ATK explorer to search again, you will find the related transaction.

Q3: What??? Are You Serious? You got the money from "xxxxxxx" people, but there are no AMLtokens available ?! Oh my god...That's a scam !???
Answer: Again, please accept our apology for your confusion and hesitation caused. You will receive you ATK tokens very soon.  The salesteam has been arranging this. I am currently asking the salesteam for the exact delivery time when the salesteam will send out ATKs to all buyers, including you. I will keep you all posted. Please be patient.

Downloading Sierra now. Hopefully this works!

I did that, and I am still getting the same error message.

11 hours after receiving Purchase Confirmation, my AML Token Core wallet shows Available 0.00000000 ATK, Pending 0.00000000 ATK, Total 0.00000000 ATK.
ATK Explorer search for wallet address shows Error! : Search found no results for: [my wallet address]

The wallet reports:
"8 active connections to AMLtoken network."
"Up to date. Processed 9454 blocks of transaction history"

When am I going to receive my AML Tokens?

AML Tokens will only be distributed later. The team is conciddering to do this as soon as possible in coordination with Escrow and Exchange listings.

The Mac wallet is not working for me.  When I attempt to download, it simply says that "AMLTOKEN-Qt cannot be opened because of a problem."

According to the wallet team there should be an option for you to open it and install.
You can safe it as exception:
https://support.apple.com/kb/PH25088?locale=en_US

What is the OS version that you are using? Please make sure that you are using OS Sierra. You may have problem to install it if you are using earlier versions of MAC OS.

If this is still not working, you need to delete the old amltoken plist file, and then install the MAC wallet again.

Here are the steps for finding and deleting the old amltoken plist file.

1) Go to the folder containing the hidden amltoken plist file

i) Open Finder
ii) Hold command+shift, then press "g"
iii) Type in ~/library/Preferences
iv) Click "Go"

2) Identify the file, named: com.amltoken.AMLToken-Qt.plist

3) Delete this amltoken plist file (Warning! Don't delete the wrong plist file!)

Now you can try to install the v1.1 AML Token Wallet again!
It should work.
