With statements like these, one can only guess.

"we understand that delays are unprofessional, and outright unacceptable when we state a deadline. We can only apologize for this, and will work on this in the future – and work on improving our overall communication. We would love to know what we could do for you to make up for this, as well as what steps we could take in order to regain your confidence."

What are the names and phone numbers of the developers?  Those motherfuckers are going to pay me for all I lost on this fucking shitcoin, they owe me 0.8 BTC plus interest.

You could have made money. It's all your fault, I'm afraid. Sure, the devs (why do we call them that?) aren't doing anything right now, but they aren't making your trading decisions. By your logic, you should owe me .8 btc I've lost due to all your enthusiastic fudding. Pay me or please, just stop. You aren't helping anything by throwing a temper tantrum....
I know losing money sucks, but now you're not just broke, you're also pissed off and stressed out now. That's a lot of emotion to put into such a small amount of money (especially compared to what I'm sure many have lost. Someone mentioned their kid's college fund riding on it, and you're losing your shit more than them.)

Oh no, I couldn't be mad. Crypto trading is no place for being emotional.   Wink
Just making light of how persistent these guys are. They are some pretty dedicated folks.
They're always here to offer us a window into their unique world, lol.

As for the taking heat analogy, I think letting someone come and take a dump in your kitchen is a bad idea.
I also think we should probably ignore this currently empty forum until the food's ready.

It couldn't be more clear as to why you're here. I knew you guys would jump on this pic to make up metaphors and shit - but you missed some of it.
Notice the bag is the only pristine item, and that one of them is ignoring the trolls?? These aren't homeless people. They're undercover - with the most stereotypically used item for holding giant amounts of money.
The trolls, laughing to themselves like escaped mental patients; one of them with a tiny shitty looking bag in his hand and piles of garbage building up around the two of them, overflowing on to the crypt side.(you caught the metaphor, but missed that you were focus of the joke.)

But all that crypt stuff aside; what the hell is wrong with you? I lose a little bit of faith in humanity knowing that trolling cancer feels it's worth this much time out of their short (and apparently meaningless) lives to go on a slander mission against strangers from a crowd of people all doing the same thing, and so truly terribly too.

lol what's the point of this anymore? This is all bait-posting.

the bait

is

overwhelming

Hey trolls, getting bored yet??? I'm not sure anyone is paying attention to you anymore, so I made you a picture to commemorate the abnormally large amount of time you spend here. I recommend framing it on your wall or using it as a desktop picture.

cwis/asoom/whatevernameyouchoosetoday: I was on irc last night for 4 hours. Just had a convo with shack and logged off 30 minutes ago. I don't know what your problem is. Maybe if I was 15 I would understand, but I'm not. You are now the 2nd person I'm placing on Ignore in over a year. I rarely do it, but you have nothing to offer the thread. I recommend everyone else do the same.
Ignore.

What happened to the pool http://bdc.pool.mn/ why it does not work?

I have no idea, and they don't say anywhere why they might have removed it, but it is no longer on their list of mineable coins (I wonder how many of those workers haven't realized this when it happened like I did by chance)

I've made a thread in the support forums for pool.mn , feel free to add to it if you've also lost coins. http://pool.mn/index.php?topic=344.msg773#msg773

pool.mn down?Huh  They removed it from their list without saying anything. bastards stole 100k from me by the looks of it.

Yeah I think they were stealing coins or screwing with distribution, I had found 32 blocks 3 mill worth of coins but had only received 1.2 mill through distribution. Things didn't add up.

they are a reputable pool, it will be back

I'm having more and more trouble with Pool.mn across different coins. I'm staying away from them.

They are far from a reputable pool, yet they still get massive hash on coin launches, the asians love them.

After asking around for a bit, it seems like they regularly rip everyone off, because they can get away with it, and nobody tries to stop them. After asking around, anyone who answered my question said they themselves or someone they knew was robbed by pool.mn ; If only I knew what to do about this...

Coin devs should distance themselves from these people and remove the link to their pool from the front page.

Funny thing is I used to mine doge here too, but for a very short time, I got 2x as much everywhere else. I assumed it was from pool size or something, that was the reason people always gave me, not something I'll trust again even if it is true.
I guess it's so easy to take advantage of people some folks just can't help themselves.

Thanks for the response  Grin ; I think this answers all my questions. I'll be keeping an eye on this; probably will mine some soon - but I find it strange that pump/dumpers are finding this coin so appealing.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CoinShield - SK-1024 GPU| Prime CPU| POS | Shitcoin Cleanup| Unified Time on: July 11, 2014, 11:16:00 PM
It sounds like a cool idea, and has a great intention, but I don't see this ending well personally, though maybe I missed something. Please correct me if this is the case.

It seems to fly in the face of the concept of open markets, which is a major reason for bitcoin's success; and are investors really the right people to be deciding what is and isn't a shit coin?? This sounds like something that would be turned into a tool for pump+dumpers to me; Imagine - you make a shit coin, pump the hell out of it, dump it, buy back in, the shieldcoin community notices and finally gets around to voting this coin as a "shitcoin"
- at this point, the dumper is ready to move to shieldcoin, so not only do they get all their profit from pumping and dumping their "shit coin" (which is really subjective, at this point, bitcoin is a shit coin compared to many coins not taken seriously or valued, and joke coins like doge become legit successes. Who are we as investors, not devs, to make that decision?? many traders don't have the first idea why any of the coins work) Just imagine, for a moment, a bunch of greedy people with no technological knowledge voting on coins based on their innovations.

So basically what I'm saying is, this coin looks like something that would make shitcoins more profitable to churn out and pump, since it adds an extra layer of profit for the pumpers far more than it would for any bagholder. I believe mainstream adoption of decently developed coins will kill the real shitcoins, not making another coin and devoting it to hostility towards open markets. People make stupid choices in every market, it's not really up to anyone but yourself to stop that from happening. Trust me, I know it sucks to lose money on a trade, but this..??

...With a coin like this, I would finally have a reason to mine shitcoins!!! I didn't before. Should I be buying doge again? It does nothing, and is deemed the shittiest coin, yet it's been to nascar and saved starving childrens' lives. I really don't see how we could possibly play crypto-god in the way shield intends to, it is not our place to do such a thing. Is this some kind of crypto-government??
