1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend in cryptocurrency? on: October 16, 2019, 05:46:43 PM
Would you give a loan to borrowers in cryptocurrency?

If yes, in which cryptocurrency:
- Bitcoin
- Ethereum
- Stablecoin (please tell us in which)
- Libra
- Maxit (https://maxicreditcompany.com/whitepaper.pdf)
- Other (please tell us in which)

So you are just trying to advertise Maxit over here? The thread kinda feels like you are genuinely not interested about the question you asked, rather you want people to click on the link and read the white paper (Why do you even have Libra in the list? It hasn't been launched yet nor does it have any network currently). Why don't you make a proper thread promoting your coin (or token or whatever it is) and highlight what is good (not talking about the announcement thread).

I put Maxit's whitepaper there, cause the other currencies are known by most of the people, while Maxit is now just a conception. Of course, I would be happy if somebody read the whitepaper or even tell me some serious opinion.
I started this topic cause I am interested in how people think about lending cryptos. And have already some interesting infos, I thought more people would answer ERC20 stablecoins like USDC or Dai.

Theres a lending section on this forum so people definitally Do it, not me personally tho.
i believe the easiest way to create a negative connection with another human is lend them money, it usually goes bad and ruins the connection with that person
BTC was CREATED to battle the problem DEBT has created in the world, maybe its better off we dont bring lending/debt into the crypto world haha

It's interesting what you say. I think the main reason for the last financial crisis was the lack of transparency in lending, not lending itself. The blockchain technology can eliminate this problem.

I just heard this, is there any cryptocurrency website that has lending ?
Are we able to lend to the them ? Or did you mean a lending program that we have to pay certain amount then we got X% daily ?

Actually we work on a P2P lending system where people can lend each other - and using credit scores to choose how is trustworthy enough to give them a loan.
We are now before getting investment and launch a test.
You can find more on https://www.maxicreditcompany.com/ and on https://www.maxicreditcompany.com/whitepaper.pdf - many of the above-mentioned questions are answered there.

As long as I join a crypto currency, I have not heard that there are parties offering loans in crypto currencies. If indeed there are parties who offer loans in crypto currency then this is a great breakthrough because it can provide capital to those who have financial limitations. If indeed there is borrowing in the form of crypto currency then I am one of those who will take advantage of this convenience. Besides that, I hope there are also those who offer crypto currency insurance. In this very volatile crypto currency, insurance is an option to guarantee our crypto currency.

What cryptocurrencies would be best suited for such an business? Or would it even matter if you were to borrow in BTC, LTC, ETH or any of the bigger cryptos out there.

I am interested in opinions about borrowing in cryptocurrency.
If a cryptocurrency will have low price volatility, then would you borrow in that token?

If not please tell why?
It has advantage and disadvantage,if the price of your token increase after you borrowed then you will get benefited or it will get upside down. But the chances of getting crypto currency for borrowing is minimum because it is not like fiat money you need to provide valid collateral to get loan which is not good because we can sell it and take the money for ourself no need to pay interest.

Actually, the real advantage will be that the margin of lending will dramatically fall, cause there will be no need for third parties like banks.

Previously I had never heard of online borrowing in crypto currencies. I want to know where it can be found. Because it is very unique and extraordinary if there is borrowing in cryptocurrency. Of course this is a very good development in the future. A loan in the form of cryptocurrency.

We are developing a P2P lending platform, with custom cryptocurrency Maxit, which has low volatility against the major currencies

Today's question is:

How many Maxit tokens will be issued initially
a: 10 million
b: 100 million
c: 400 million
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MaxiCredit Quiz on: April 11, 2019, 08:37:22 PM
Yes, the right answer is B.
Maxit is an ERC20 Ethereum token. Now under development.
Maxit has built-in mechanisms that limit volatility.

We develop a custom cryptocurrency, called Maxit.
It has built-in mechanisms that limit daily price volatility in +/-2% with setting the money supply and 70% of the funds collected in ICO will be used as a reserve.

Today's question is:

What is Maxit?
a: an Ethereum wallet
b: a concept of a cryptocurrency with low price volatility against US dollar
c: a blockchain

No one can predict the future of cryptocurrency and even a specific token. But I’m sure that it will develop and grow despite government bans. Therefore, I think that no one will give away cryptocurrency loans.

You can't say exactly what will happen in 10 years. But you can predict that USDC price will next week 1$, simply because it is designed that way.
And you can code a token - may be you not, but for example, I can - with mechanisms that limit its volatility.

Congratulation to the winners!

Actually, you can predict the volatility of a currency - also a cryptocurrency - if you know the forces, which are setting the price of it.
If a cryptocurrency has built-in mechanisms which limit their volatility it can be much easier to predict what will happen with its price.

Do you mean cryptocurrency crediting? If so, then I think the financial market is not yet ready for this, and in private it is not fair to both parties to the loan agreement.

Yes, I mean lending in cryptocurrency, of course in such crypto, which has low volatility.
Why wouldn't it fair to the parties?

You can't pre-determine if a token price would be volatile or not, expect it is a Stable coin and I don't think you are talking about stable coin, for now I prefer to borrow in Ether as against Bitcoin because I don't see Ether repeating the 2017 run and expect BTC to outpace it long term. Also remember that volatility is one of the main characteristics of this space

read our White paper:
https://www.maxicreditcompany.com/whitepaper.pdf

a token doesn't need to follow the concept of stable coins to have a stable price
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you borrow in cryptocurrency? on: April 10, 2019, 06:47:15 PM
In our project - https://www.maxicreditcompany.com/ - we eliminated the risk of price volatility. So borrowers won't need to afraid of paying more as they expected.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you borrow in cryptocurrency? on: April 10, 2019, 12:44:21 PM
I don't think borrow from the banks or other people will be a good idea to buy cryptocurrency because we don't know what exactly will happen in the market. Besides that, we need to think about how long we should pay the money to the banks. The market still cannot predict and if you cannot make a profit and get lost, then how you can pay your loan. That is too risky, but if you think that you can handle that thing, then you can try to borrow and hope that after you buy any coin, the price can increase so you can make a profit.

Why do you talk about borrowing money from banks to invest in crypto? That would be high risk and THIS TOPIC IS NOT ABOUT FROM BORROWING TO INVEST!
This topic is about borrowing in stable price cryptos.

What if the price of the crypto which you borrow is stable and you can spend the borrowed amount to common goods and services?
