1  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to file a patent? on: August 31, 2019, 01:34:19 AM
You don't really need a lawyer and it's not as expensive as someone says. Spending from $1k to $4k at max is peanuts for a company, and if there is no budget for, then there is a problem in the 'set up'

Do you really need to file the patent in the US? There, it's USPTO in charge of cases regardin the protection of inventions and trademarks. It decides whether or not to grant a patent.

But you can use PCT to file a patent application in several countries at the same time https://www.wipo.int/pct/en/
(it doesn't include the US, only USPTO can deliver it)

Thanks for your information.

Can you guys suggest me some best ways to reach venture capital investors?

Not sure what you mean, if you HODL enough Bitcoin and did so early enough, you ARE  Venture Capital Investor! Assuming you are still in HODL mode.

That is why I am in BTC. Venture Capitalist says that by the time you learn of something at that level you may be interested in getting into IF it is already

at 50/50 odds it is too late. Nothing to buy. Because everyone will jump on something on first knowing about it at 50/50 odds.

This seems to be the case because in 2013 and again in 2019(?) when Bitcoin hit its $3,200 USD low, the yelling and screaming  from family/friends/strangers

the internet...on me continuing to HOLD and even, gasp BUY MORE, BTC, er, hmmm, .well, it was sooooo bad, I expected a county social worker to be called

on me because I could not manage my money. From what everyone was shouting.

So I don't need to find a Venture Capitalist, as long as I am in HODL mode, I am that beastie!

Brad

My bad, I have to clarify my situation. I mean the VC for a start-up, the way they raise their funds.

4  Bitcoin / Project Development / How to file a patent? on: August 30, 2019, 08:45:10 AM
Hello there,

I'm quite confused about filing a patent for my service.

For your information, my company has just created a totally new service then we want a patent for that. I go to some pages like Upcounsel to post a job looking for an attorney. Then I found another website called US patent & trademark offices. My mind is fairly messed up now as I wonder if we can file a patent or trademark by ourselves or get them done by an attorney.

By the way, is there any other recommended place for me to find help?

Many thanks,

Environmental problems is everything I'm concerned about now. Heard about the giant damage for our World's Lung? The fire has been swallowing our Amazon Forest. It's been more than 3 weeks, OMG. I can't believe that there had been no report about that during the past 3 weeks. Hope in 2050, people will raise their awareness about protecting the environment. better than now. Pray!

Why humanity is suffering today and we are having poverty and low mind is because we take the insignificant aspects of life to be the whole life!
I do get annoyed when you meet people on Facebook and Twitter and the first thing they asked you is "where are you working, where do you live, are you married"? The ideas of asking you all these questions are to rate you and know the level of respect to give you. All of this question, don't matter and we should start to ask people if " They are really happy"!
Totally agree with you. Happiness comes from our soul. If we know how to be satisfied with things we've had and don't be so irritated with things we don't have. We can be completely happy.

I believe that youtuber is the most useless profession that does not bring any benefit to our society.

I have to say that there are various fields of interests that people can find our on youtube, have you ever watched any tutorial video or video that compares two products before deciding buying something? Youtube is considered is the most popular platform nowadays and it's really beneficial for digital marketing as well.

I guess it is the most informative platform for now and we can find answers for almost all the questions on Youtube.
Totally agree, and it shows us "how to". That's the most amazingly positive effect.

I'm not a YouTuber, but maybe I can think of some idea:
You need to have good PR skill. Because you will face negative comments, you need to know how to handle it/answer it with subtle language. You will also need to market your video and need some connections, so I think this skill is essential.
It will ask you to have a strong mentality to face critiques and haters.
This skill is essential not only for being a Youtuber but also for every professions, you know, especially the ones that require you to interact with other people. It doesn't come from audiences but your colleagues or boss as well. Thanks for the advice!

As well as that, look to family and friends for investments, and good luck with whatever venture you are doing.

@seratruong, are you the only person that's working on that part of your project? I've looked for some of your post history and is this the exchange that you are working with?

We do have a team. It's just our first step and I want to get the overview when approaching them. Learning here is considered as my first choice, especially from experienced members like you.

Use Angellist to find singular investors, there is a dedicated section just for companies and investments. Other ways would be running similar to ICO campaigns, where you'd advertise that you are looking for investments.

Thanks for your help, I'll figure out more about that.

Beside being expert in the field about which they are going to make video, what are other qualifications needed to become a youtuber. Moreover, what do you think can make you stand out from others?
It depends on the content you produce and your team.
For example:
You need to know about sports when making sports channels.
You need to know how to film if you do it alone.

In order to become outstanding, I think you need to produce unique content with a high degree of novelty.

Right, as I said, I need to do my best in this field. Thanks!

Do you think we need some trendy things as there are various channels doing the same topic on Youtube, so it's hard to reach their attention to my own channel.

15  Other / Off-topic / Re: I would like to know what kind of job will never be taken by robots? on: August 19, 2019, 09:35:39 AM
It's unpredictable because people now can create such great robotic things to replace manual work. I think some work requiring mentality like writers or actors will never be replaced by robots.
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can I get traffic to my website? on: August 19, 2019, 09:25:08 AM
Beside using some techniques like SEO or SEM, you should list your website hyperlink in some articles. For example, you can create an account on Medium which is a website you can create your own blogs. Then write blogs related to your business as well as your company introduction. Remember to use key words to help customers easily find you.

Moreover, I think you should create your own community like on Facebook or Telegram or even Youtube, to interact with your users.

Hope this would be useful for you.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you had $100 in what would you invest? on: August 19, 2019, 09:18:51 AM
It's better for me to put eggs into different baskets. So I would invest half in bitcoin and half in stocks when getting profit from BTC investment.

Bitcoin is a dead cryptocurrency
Why do you say that? BTC is now considered as the most worthy coin to invest.
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your favorite websites? on: August 19, 2019, 09:08:27 AM
I started to create my account on Medium about four months ago, and I found it really interesting, now I'm also a writer there.
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to study well English grammar? on: August 19, 2019, 07:27:09 AM
Right, to be good at English grammar, there is no better way than doing more and more exercise in grammar books. Moreover, I also watch horror stories (animation) on Youtube, they read slowly and clearly. As a result, I can learn more from what I'm interested in, not just boring exercises.

Anyone has the same interest in horror stories?
