What's happened to those CAIx that were left on MintPal?
Did people managed to withdraw or they are just lost (or in someone's hands) into the cyberspace?
We currently have no reports of people not being able to withdraw their CAIx from MintPal, so I think and hope everyone has been able to withdraw their CAIx  . i did manage to get all the caix i had on mintpal back in to my wallets and staking again i still have some UTC stuck on mintpal though....  |

i have been asked to speak at a convention in las vegas, and we are now discussing the benefit. It is a miners convention and the name is www.HashersUnited.combut again the finances come into play since this trip would cost a few thousand dollars. They have asked me to give a solo presentation on Ultracoin ,N factor and asic resistance and how this fits in the coin landscape. i am not familiar with giving solo presentations , I think i would get quite nervous, however the benefits are great ,just like last time in sweden its a great opportunity to meet new people and spread awareness. this would cost at least 3000 dollars with a plane ticket and hotels so this is very tricky, i dont have a single asic yet, and alpha just moved the shipping from juli to september. This event is on October 10th &11th , 2014 so there is no way i can mine 3000 dollars by then. I think at least someone from the dev team should go! It looks like a great way to spread more awareness about UTC however why would it cost 3000? As far as our PSP program I have made some healthy investments in quick P&D's lately to save our PSP.

I don’t think it is only the greed what is poisoning the crypto world it is the extreme lack of trust and respect. And in this case the extremely negative behavior off most “community” members.
Caix was one of the first to go full Pos and although some missed the boat with the transfer to caix it went very smooth. As far as I know caix is the first crypto that sees its self as a company and invest in projects such as the game and rewards there shareholders if there is profit from those projects and they did! And yes some did not received their payments jet but as far as I can see most of us did received the payment within a few days! Than the wallet, yes it got delayed a few times but they did deliver and it is a a good looking and working wallet with some minor bugs , so what 99% off the other wallets don’t have a social and marked data option. So I don’t see the problem if there is a small bug in those options. The titans… yes that one sucks bad, but who is to blame for that? Not the devs but some guy with a bag off btc who came up with the plan but didn’t come tru for whatever the reason may be.
The only thing we can blame the devs for is the slow and lack of communication, don’t say you have good news about the psp and say you will tell us soooon and then be quiet about it for 10 days. but we also know stuhlman had some personal problems so it is not strange the communication was a bit slow but now the time has come to step it up!.
the devs don’t get paid a monthly salary, yes the did recive 4000 caix…. but how would you feel if you built a coin and work hard to keep developing the coin, don’t get paid for it and the only thing you get in return is f*cking negativity from the community. 14 btc payed out and only a few tweets about it and some with a negative side note about the low price. Yes this price sucks ! I’ve got a few btc in caix and if I would sell it is worth next to nothing but I aint selling a thing.
Who is to blame for the low price?
In my opinion not the devs, the kept on working on the coin yes with a few small setbacks but this price is caused by fear and negativity from a few holders in combination with the bad communication and setbacks. And the negative vibe in this bitcointalk isn’t helping either! I do believe the devs still have good intentions for caix, and I think we can turn this around together.
they were clear from the beginning it would be a long term project but people get scared when the don’t see any news from the dev for a week. So my suggestion for the devs would be to make a road map for caix for the upcoming 3 months. And then give a weekly update.
If we as a community help the devs where ever we can , we can start to stop post negative comments and start spreading some positivity here and in the crypto world about caix. and if you don’t believe in caix than just don’t post here and express your frustrations in a other way. So Stuhlman , can you let us know how things are standing and if you are willing to make a road map for the next months with a weekly update? Lets turn this around together and lets go back to the moon and beyond!

I suspected it when I wrote the devs and they never replied. I'm in Malta and I would have liked to meet them personally. Not answering my invitation was not only rude but very fishy.
Have you seen any sign of muniti in Malta? any d2d activity or what so ever? i just don’t get it, radi is online every day it seems and the premine is still there. looks to me he just gave up. the name Mario Buttigieg is in every article about muniti, i don’t think he is the same guy as Radi, because Mario works in the it sector from what i can find, i gues he is the dev who stopped and after that things went downhill. How hard can it be to let us know oke guys we failed to make it work, sorry now move on. But now every bag holder still has some hope the dev is going to come back and make munity to a success, what is possible but not likely at all now! |

Update from Developers 7/9/2014
I know lately I been away for some personal issues, however, I tried to make as much time for the project as I can. Now things are getting a bit less stressful, and I am able to put more time into steering things back on track.
As most of you know in the last three weeks the helm was held by members of the foundation mostly and I did not have the ability to make decisions on most of the important matters due to lack of time/availability. During these hard times some of the foundation members did a great job picking up the slack by getting more involved and showing initiative to get things moving along, for which I am very much appreciative and thankful.
At the start of the project we decided to burn the premine and use our revenue streams from the game and later the PSP to build a vested interest for the developers to keep improving and working. After getting a generous investment of 24 BTC to cover the costs of development for the game to get to the next stage, we were approached by another investor who offered to donate three Titans if we implement the PSP program into our project. The investor gave me 9 BTC as a down payment for this program, so I used 10 BTC from the game funds to finish paying for the first miner on the promise the investor would finish paying for it later on, and he said he ordered two more miners himself which he will use for the PSP as well. This investor was obviously seeking a pump to exit with profit and used the 9 BTC donation as bait for us to announce the PSP. This investor later delivered a message to a foundation member while I was away, that he will not deliver on his promise. Virtualann or TheGir or Roscoewins or whatever he likes to call himself took that info and went with it public which by itself is not a problem, but he made it look like I was hiding something. This was frustrating because when that message was delivered in the foundation room I was not even around. When I found out I told everyone I wanted time to contact this investor and find out for myself.
When we got the 24 BTC for the game project and 4 BTC income came, I promised people 14 BTC dividend from that, there was nothing forcing me to do this, and this was not even income from the game. So in total we had 28 BTC 10 were used to complete the first TiTan purchase, about 11 so far been given for the nodes and some nodes still have to be paid. I made payments to the game devs as well.
When we got the news about the investor defaulting on the miners, we still had the 14 BTC from dividend and some in the foundation suggested strongly we use that to buy another Titan to add to the PSP but after much thought I decided to go along with the BTC payment for dividend although that put us back on funding for this project in all. Making the decision to pay the dividend might not make much sense to you, but I could not find it in me to tell people one thing and do another.
I been going over much of this, and giving it a lot of thought. Also I contacted the investor who invested in the game to see if we can get some help on the PSP as well. But we do need some help from the community as well so I setup a development fund to help move the game and the PSP.

I will have an answer tomorrow from the game investor if he wants to help fund the PSP program as well.
This is the whole story so far. Am I giving up on CAIx? the answer is no, and I am not disappearing with bags of BTC, so far I have spent over 26 BTC of my own on this project and I will make sure this is not the end of the road for us.
Although the investor who defaulted on the PSP program did us some harm, however, his idea was brilliant and genuine. It will probably go through some changes to allow dividend payments. I strongly believe it's worth saving, and the lord willing will hear some good news tomorrow from our game investor.
Below is a snapshot of the new wallet that will be released this week. Wallet is done and will go through some security scrutiny by the dev team to insure it's safe for release.

Ok guys, holidays over, is there any news, or at least some posts to get the community positive again.
We have a great coin with a 100% trustworthy Dev which has just been proved with the recent payouts. Be nice to get the management and direction that the coin had only a month ago.

+1 I do agree, we need a clear plan for caix and the good and active management we had before. However I do believe we as shareholders/community can do more as well. Instead of spreading negativity and frustration about this price you can do something about it. Tweet about the 14 BTC dividend paid out, buy those cheap coins, mine at the multi pool and so on! |

As for the people who invested in CAIx we will answer all your questions after the node count release.
When will this be? I am glad and I never thought otherwise that the node payments are send! Thanks for that! But I think there are still some concerns or questions left unanswered after the fud about the p2p and investors. I know you had a meeting with the board about the future plans for caix. Can you bring us up to date on those things. thanks ps how is it possible that almost no one is mining the multi pool? Do the devs or the board members don’t have any rigs? 18 mh on x 11 and i am 60% of that... yes i know the payout is low atm but that will change when you add more coins an hash i guess. |

Do you really think the are spending 600 a day on salary for the d2d but not make even one photo or give us one small update. No I think the d2d never started and the never felt the need to tell us.

yes this is getting crazy, but i can understand it though there are so many scam coins now a days, but the run away with the ipo or the premine. but i think caix has proven its self to be a fair coin a long time ago already, and the only thing you can blame the devs for now is slow but maybe very good work and lack of or slow communication. So I don’t think there is anny need to report someone to the police…. |

I am a caix supporter from the beginning. I believe the devs, not stuhlman but the other 8 should have been more active in this thread just to show us there commitment to caix , the might been working day and night for caix but we don’t see them. I believe if the had been more active the trust level was much higher. I don’t think its to late for that though. It is a good thing the board members are active in answering all the questions but a once a week update from the other devs wouldn’t hurt.
Yes it is a bump in the road if it is true the investors pulled back for sure, but common, don’t blame the devs and the board for not telling soon enough. If I have a problem that could affect my customers or share holders in this case I would try to fix it or find a alternative solution and if I tried everything I could and if i couldn’t do anything about it I would be honest about it to the customer, but you need time for that and given the personal situation of the main dev and the size off the “problem” I don’t think 2 weeks is enough time to do everything in your power to find a solution. Given the fact that the other board members are still behind caix it seems like the agree… so to me it looks like someone blow the whistle to soon… so lets all buy up those cheap caix from the weak hands and move on up.
