1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Official FutureBit Apollo LTC Image and Support thread on: January 27, 2022, 12:44:45 PM
both mine burnt out, one from first batch and one from second, I've replaced the connectors had a tough time getting the solder out but got there in the end, I'll be honest I think it was maybe down to only having one power connector connected to the miner, since putting in the new connectors I've had 2 connected at all times and they are still looking bright white so fingers crossed.

I need about 10 people to test out full node image. Finally got it where its running stable but want to make sure it is before I do a general release. Shoot me a PM with your email address. Make sure you have the ability to open port 9333 on your local network/router so the node is visible to the rest of the network.

PM sent

MY device made it to the UK in perfect condition, batch 2 case is spot on, batch2 wifi seems to work a lot better than the batch1 miner.

Very pleased with it and looking forward to seeing what happens in the future.

I find zergpool and zpool have a lot of errors, multipool and litecoinpool tend to be fine.

As above update email was only end of June, said time wasn't on their side but things where moving along.

Your not buying off the shelf here.

just re-image the card?

Nothing in the GUI to suggest you can factory reset.

Any updates on when batch two will be ready to ship?

Things going much smoother this time around so pretty sure we can start shipping end of June as promised. Only bottleneck this time around are the new enclosures which are getting sourced from a different supplier...worst case would be shipping into the beginning of July.

are you shipping to Europe or best to wait until bitshopper.de has them?

works great on litecoinpool, most other pools I've tried like zerg and zpool eventually start running at 20% errors or higher. zpool was fine for around a week then it just went nuts 45% errors and the dashboard saying 400 miners

no idea why the errors started.

Make sure you disable donation pool if your mining on any other chain than Litecoin...currently donation pool is tied with Litecoin mining which causes issues with the software when you start mining on other chains. This will be separated in a future update so the donation pool does not interfere with any user pools.

Thanks, re-imaged my card and it's working great, when batch 2 is available in Europe I'll be picking up another one

just re-imaged the card and went back to Ethernet from WiFi and it's running much better 0.5% errors.
