Sent a request to your email today. Used pywallet.py script to obtain the necessary data requested. Sent pgp encrypted .txt file with the data.
This wallet has been locked for about a year, and I cannot remember the exact combination of the pw, but provided what I believed it to be along with alternate versions of key words.
For the communities consideration as to calling this a scam. The way I see it is, I can't spend them anyways, so essentially they are worthless to the whole community, if by some miracle, this process allows theft of the 1.75 to 1.9 BTC in this wallet, then overall it benefits the BTC community by having more BTC available for use on the network overall.
I have communicated that I will provide 0.4 BTC for a successful unlock, which is slightly more than 20%.
I will post my results here for the communities review.
As to the previous post with the missing .dll file. I had the same error, just reinstall python 2.7 and it should work for you. It did for me anyways.

So after downloading the latest bootstrap provided, my wallet is stuck on May 7th, 2016 at block 387890. Wallet version is Bitcredit Core version v0.30.19.10-33f2960-dirty (64-bit).
I just don't understand why this coin always needs bootstraps downloaded and transferred to wallet directory in order to function. Seems like the blockchain is very unstable. For me it raises the question to the accuracy and efficiency of this coins network. I get that it is still in development and restructuring of features are being implemented, but this is no excuse for the need to provide a working chain database to the community in order for peoples wallets to function properly.
Not to mention that I believe this to be unsecure method for the community to get a functioning wallet.
I hope v 2.0 will fix these wallet issues with getting the blockchain information from the network and avoid the need to download a bootstrap file in order to function properly.
Another question I have is clarification on the total supply reduction. Does this mean that the coins I currently have residing in my wallet will be reduced proportionately as well, or do they remain as the total supply that they presently represent.

Edit: Ok, succesfully updated to the new client. Does this mean that 0.30.16.4b is not OK to use?

ok, let's try this again Windows x64 0.30.16.4bTested on a vm and a laptop, running smoothly. **Exchange temp disabled **Fixes for small known issues if we can be sure that this is working i can dedicate all my time to the p2pool. Posted my problem in the github issues section for your review. Let me know if I can provide any further information you may require. ok, i responded. you posted warnings, but a c++ error is usually fatal. please search for and post the actual error message I saw, don't know where I would find that information for you. Still you can't run the wallet ? No

Bittrex could tell you. Most Likely it's a wallet issue, but don't quote me. All you have to do is submit a ticket and inquire about it. Bitcreditcc is working hard on the new wallet, I'm sure when he gets all the bugs worked out, everything will be rosie again.

Well let me clarify my question, I know I can see my orders in BCR and my Wallet and find the market that way. My inquiry is not how to get to the market, more as Why is it not visible on the bittrex exchange. Thanks for the quick response.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/dx8qizy53806yjx/C%2B%2BError.png?dl=0I keep getting this error message with the Bitcredit Core version v0.30.16.2-beta (64-bit) on a Windows 7 Pro 64(bit) machine. Just sharing to see if others are experiencing this issue as well. And if a solution is out there anywhere. I have already re-installed the 2013 C++ redistributable from Microsoft. I also noticed that BCR market is not visible on bittrex. Must be disabled currently.

Looking to setup a pool for this, was wondering how to setup the stratum support.
Dev, are you working on any source code for stratum pool support?
Essentially I saw in the original post and on official website that a pool is more friendly to setup for this coin as oppose to RIC or XPM. I thought I read it to be as easy as scrypt, however, being that this coin has its own algo, I doubt the stratum support is there just yet. Just curious how one would go about this.
Thanks in advance!

I have a question, and forgive me if it was already answered somewhere in here as I just browsed through and could have missed it.
So what happens in the event of a hard drive upgrade, like for instance, if I have my 6 sata inputs on my board maxed (all used up) with 2TB drives, and I choose to upgrade them all to 4 or 6 TB drives. Is it possible to move the plots that were generated on the original drives to the new drives? Or do I get to rebuild all my plots?
Thanks in advance

It would be nice to be able to sync the wallet, in order to send all my coins from exchanges to it. Windows 7 Pro 64bit

I still haven't been able to receive the final payout from mining at ypool. This wallet gets stuck at block 48502 for me, ironically, it did make it up to 50498 or something before it got stuck, restarted it and it went backwards.
Hi, what helped me before was to take these steps: 1. I removed the Noirshares client and cleared everything from my %appdata%\noirshares folder except for the wallet.dat file 2. Downloaded new wallet from https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwGL9FkcBurESEtVVUtuTFNmTWs/edit?usp=sharing3. I used Notepad to create a Noirshares.conf file in my %appdata%\noirshares folder. (if you do this, make sure you save the file as Noirshares.conf while "All files" is selected. Otherwise you might save it as a .txt file) 4. In the Noirshares.conf file, you enter the following text: checkblocks=1 addnode=ypool.net addnode=nrs.argakiig.us addnode=173.236.43.58:39565 addnode=66.69.215.216:64946 addnode=5.9.158.79:47779 addnode=178.125.216.61:63731 addnode=107.170.207.147:8500 addnode=8.38.76.74:8500 addnode=121.185.195.12:8500 addnode=14.201.25.59:8500 addnode=70.114.143.108:8500 addnode=124.168.225.125:50023 addnode=59.55.230.181:59019 addnode=65.128.192.240:8500 addnode=98.250.252.199:8714 addnode=222.242.174.137:11054 addnode=88.8.127.16:49448 addnode=192.99.144.139:59973 addnode=77.28.2.49:44534 addnode=198.101.10.110:8500 addnode=75.143.69.254:8500 addnode=86.163.25.105:59196 addnode=83.227.236.11:63228 addnode=85.243.107.186:51194 addnode=211.149.148.150:58600 addnode=183.66.32.185:61793 addnode=82.66.239.16:50554 addnode=124.231.7.138:6415 addnode=118.186.153.220:55145 addnode=212.117.32.160:63075 addnode=87.231.15.229:54376 addnode=77.185.64.103:51852 addnode=107.170.254.5 addnode= 41.78.77.178 addnode=192.241.213.244 addnode=172.245.183.30 addnode=162.243.131.88 addnode=54.213.71.178 addnode=192.241.213.224 addnode=54.80.61.11 addnode=198.199.96.129 addnode=54.197.175.238 5. Run the Noirshares QT client again and it will start syncing again from the beginning. It might get stuck a few times in the end, but then just close the client and start it again and it should continue to sync. 6. After it has totally finished syncing, you should be able to open the client again and it should remain up to date. Thank you for all the support everyone! I'm up to date and sync'd basically using this info. The only things I did differently was checkblocks=750 in my conf file and I never restarted the wallet when it got stuck at the higher blocks occasionally, and just left it open over night while I slept. This morning I was sync'd. Now where did I see that staking information hahaha

Hello all, The group has decided to push a Mandatory Update for NoirShares. The updates includes a few minor touch ups and security check, but most importantly, it HALTS PoW at block 50000. The initial statement stated 5 million PoW but we have decided this number is better reached through PoS, at time of posting there are roughly 2.5 million in existence. We believe this is sufficient PoW and the spread is good. The key advantages are that w move to the "green" solution quickly, meaning the wallet needs very little maintenance. It also leaves our dev team free to fully pursue our second DAS/DAC, which is imminent. We apologize for any who feel inconvenienced, but from our point of view, this is the most prudent course of action. Below are the links for the new wallets, The Mac wallet will be made available shortly. Windows Zip Windows exe For Linux and other derivatiives of the unix system, please use our source code from our git here Source CodeThe windows version's are giving me C++ Framework error's, I will try the Linux version to see if that works better for me. Just thought I would share that since it's a short window for the update.

the question is who is finding those blocks?
I'm curious to know Calculated net rate is ~16Ghash/s. 1gh still has ~15.9Ghash/s claimed. I suspect 1gh's web display is stuck. @reorder ? I was hoping you would show up and set us straight. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) We came to that same conclusion on the IRC So what's the deal with 1gh's payouts and web display, looks like the backend for mining is still working as shares are still being accepted. Haven't had a payout in 3hours, was receiving them every 30 mins, sorry if I'm redundant, but didn't see anything but this post that referenced it.

so 1gh.com shows the first 22 blocks as orphans is there anything bad about this?
