1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Theta wallet address on Binance on: March 29, 2022, 09:50:06 PM
Why is my Theta wallet address the same as my ERC20 tokens on Binance? Ethereum, Chainlink, REN and Aave have the very same address.
There is even a warning on the deposit page that says "This address is for Mainnet token deposits only. Please do not deposit ERC20 tokens to this address."
Shouldn't each cryptocurrency have a unique wallet address?

2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell car for Bitcoin on: October 04, 2020, 09:15:07 AM
So, how did it go? Did he panic sell at $3500 in december 2018?

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy these altcoins!!! on: July 08, 2020, 10:09:03 AM
Based on my own research and input from various key channels on YouTube and Twitter, my portfolio consists of the following altcoins:

Chainlink, Cardano, Zilliqa, Theta, DigiByte, Ren and Kyber Network.

4  Economy / Speculation / Re: For real? on: June 20, 2020, 08:28:01 PM
After the 2017 crash almost everyone is aware of crypto, and they have the impression that it is risky and volatile, so they'll be unlikely to jump on this train.

This time alot of people will realize Bitcoin is not going to zero. So I think the same type of people will FOMO in when Bitcoin makes a new all time high and goes parabolic.

5  Economy / Speculation / Re: A shorting paradise: next target is 5.5k on: June 02, 2020, 10:28:38 PM
June 1: shorts got rekt
June 2: longs got rekt

Conclusion: don't trade crypto on small time frames. Invest for long term  Cheesy

Would be insanely stupid to short a bullish asset class during a bull cycle  Cheesy

7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving 2020 and Altcoins on: April 19, 2020, 12:45:50 PM

When Bitcoin and other cryptos make new price discoveries, the same thing as in 2017 is going to happen. People will FOMO in when Bitcoin is making new all-time highs and they realize crypto is not going to zero.

Lol 2017 is much far from this Halving, because in 2017 there is no Pandemic like now so even how the Price Discovery that you are pointing still now enough for this one.

I mean after the pandemic is over and 1 year or so after the halving. 2021.

8  Economy / Speculation / Re: My first experience of Bitcoin halving, I'm excited. on: April 15, 2020, 12:25:39 PM
After the last halving, things have been changed a lot, so, we can't expect another 12000 or 10000% growth like before! This time, people will sell more if bitcoin price ever goes to 15K USD or plus! Because the longest bear market in 2018 ruined lots of things, and that's impact still not gone from the market! So, I don't think we will see a massive pump, but I wish to see Bitcoin at 15-20K USD once again! Many people think bitcoin price will jump immediate after the halving, but by seeing last halvings statistics, we can say it will take a year or two!

Last cycle Bitcoin stayed in the price range of approx. $200-$1100 for 1170 days! If the same is to happen this time we'll get a new all-time high in february/march 2021.

New price discovery means FOMO. And this time we get FOMO from financial institutions aswell.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Chainlink (LINK) a good investment? on: April 14, 2020, 08:52:43 AM
It's too late to buy LINK now but you can buy BAND on Binance because it's Chainlink's competitor and very cheap now, DYOR.

Hehe, are you only operating on short time frames? LINK is very likely going to $100++ in the next 2 years.

11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Doubt the tested support at 6.4k will hold forever on: March 09, 2020, 10:39:33 AM
How long will this bear market last? Its 26 months already.
Its the longest bear market in bitcoin's history.

Bitcoin is still 153% up from the bottom at $3200 though. Back in 2015/2016 it took 500 days to sustain 153% gains.

12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here is why the market is still bearish (nothing to do with the Corona virus) on: February 27, 2020, 01:45:45 PM
Draw a line underneath aswell (on log scale), and you got yourself a squeezing wedge on macro level! And when the price reaches the tip area somewhere after the halving it will most likely break to the upside.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos Price??? on: February 27, 2020, 12:22:54 AM
Tezos up 16% at the moment while Bitcoin is going down. Very unusual.

Never mind. Went down again of course  Grin

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins for 2020? on: February 19, 2020, 05:25:50 PM
Probably Tezos, Chainlink and ICON.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best way to cash out from Coinbase (fees/spread margin etc) on: February 15, 2020, 10:43:42 PM
Thanks for the tips guys. Will check out Binance for sure.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Best way to cash out from Coinbase (fees/spread margin etc) on: February 15, 2020, 12:10:01 PM
I just bought 3000 XTZ on Coinbase and I'm wondering what's the best way to cash out to FIAT when the time comes to sell in the future?
(I live in europe, so I use Bitstamp to buy Bitcoin. Transfered 1 BTC to Coinbase and converted it to XTZ. They took $130 for that conversion, by the way.)

So what's the best alternative here to get the lowest fees/spread margin.

1. Convert XTZ to BTC. Withdraw BTC from Coinbase to Bitstamp. Sell BTC on Bitstamp and withdraw EUR to bank account (SEPA transfer).

2. Sell XTZ to EUR on Coinbase and withdraw using SEPA transfer.

3. Withdraw XTZ to another exchange with lower XTZ/BTC conversion fee/spread margin. Then withdraw BTC to Bitstamp.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos Price??? on: February 14, 2020, 12:06:21 PM
After watching youtube videos about Tezos (Tai Zen and Cryptobud), I'm considering converting 50% or more of my BTC to Tezos. But I'm really on the fence about this. Too risky?

19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: January 31, 2020, 11:37:00 AM
I think the most relevant point is that the prediction has been very accurate (so far), regardless of the tools he used to make this TA. Sometimes the best analysis are the vague squiggly lines and random arrows pointing up and down - if the price follows that path that this. Kudos to PentarhUdi for getting things right so far, I haven't seen another publication that has been this accurate (regarding the lows, the highs, with the correct time-frame).

I haven't either. It was an amazing prediction. For whatever reason, he has apparently abandoned it though, and is now predicting a return to the 200-week MA to build out this long term triangle.

I definitely prefer his December 2018 prediction.

Drawing a squeezing wedge on the linear chart on macro level is pretty meaningless in my opinion.

20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Short term bullish run is now over, and it was most likely a failed rally on: January 26, 2020, 11:53:40 AM
Studying the typical 60 day cycles in past uptrends I would say a 15% pullback from $9200 is probable.
$7800 in mid february?

It's possible in mid february but every speculations and expectations in the market today is very bullish the chances for that to happen is very slim. If you're looking for a good price to buy im afraid the price today is the best suitable for accumulating more. I will not look for that $7,800 in february because it might be too late and fomo.

Good point. $8200 a couple of days ago may well be the higher low.
