Has anyone have burnt ports on R606? I have 4 and have 2 burnt PCIE ports, They are running on server ps with breakout board.

I have been running them off a bitmain psu and no burnt ports in many months (6 ish ?)

That is to say never burnt ports

VH also put in a gekko-specific flag to use only particular serial numbers in each instance, which might simplify things especially if something comes unplugged or gets re-enumerated on the bus.

Do you know where I would find info on how to use it?  I can't find it in the readme.

@harmonic I meant to ask, why does your computer run them separately? mine combines them in one window.

I have them on different pools.  You can use the --USB option in cgminer to do it.  You will need to find out which bus each is on and what it's ID is.  You can use cgminer to do it, just go to the USB management and then list devices.

Hi All!

I'm hoping someone can help me.  I am running into issues with my 606 and I'm like 99% sure I didn't break it when I took out the stock fan and put in a mega fan ...

Had it running for I want to say a month and a half and the thing blazed with stock fan and extra exhaust fan running on 250w psu.  I took the fan plug out completely and have the new fan on external power.

One thing is I recently got an antminer on the network, could my network be the issue?  I have tried some improvements with no success.

Grasping at straws since I don't like having to ask peeps ...

My WU is very low which is not usual.  My internet searches haven't helped me.

lots of edits but ya, I know the HW is good based on how many times I thought I killed my 2 pacs lol

Has anyone managed to get the R606 to run on a mac?

I can't say I have, I don't have one.  I think you can use a program called mac ports.

As far as I know the latest Mac OS is Unix based and has a terminal and such.  You could have some luck if you get the linux like terminal up and running using mac ports.

If I actually had a mac I could probably walk you through it;  I did it one step at a time using google with my last Mac.  What I mean is that I got the linux terminal to a point that I could use WINE and run windows stuff.

Good luck!

Hi everyone!

This is my first post ever here.  I had tried some 2pacs a while back and decided to get one of these.  I had some issues at first but they were all on my end.  This is a great piece of hardware.  I've had it set at 750Mhz for weeks.  I added a push-pull fan even though VH thinks it's dumb.

Voltage setting 6

Cheers!
