For efficiency wise and hashrate performance rtx3080 and 3070 will do the best job followed by the mid GPU cards like 1660 super or Ti but mind you GPU are over priced right now so your return of investment will take longer

It looks like scam to me, there are other better quantum resistance coins out there mate, do your own research for example we have quantum resistance ledger( QRL ) that have the exact features you are looking for, I suggest you look into this project because it's more popular than this tidecoin

I don't like staking because price can devalue but stable coin comes to the rescue and the best platform I use is binance exchange for staking USDT, another thing is you can't use your coins until the staking period is over, honestly I prefer PoW over PoS staking for so many reasons

ONly rich can do that such thing, As far as i know, laptop with RTX 3070 is about to range the price of 1800usd plus and morethan that it depends on the brand of the laptop, Laptop cannot handle the heat of its gpu while you begin to use it in mining, even the open case mining rig can reach up to 80c of heat, and that the GPU has a triple fan plus the cooler comes from industial fan, How come that laptpp with a small ventilation survive from heat cause by intense usage of gpu. Just think morethan twice  It's more than 1800$ unless you go with non gaming dedicated laptops and they have bad cooling, anyways if a gamer has one of this laptops he can make money out of it but literally buying laptops to mine ETH is a waste of money |

The option to activate or deactivate dedicated GPU in BIOS may not be available if your CPU doesn't have any integrated GPU on board my question is what type of CPU are you using are you sure it has integrated GPU cos not all CPU has integrated GPU you have to figure that out first
I do have a gpu on board "Intel(R) HD Graphics" and it works when i unplug dedicated gpu but can't make them work together maybe it's bios limitation can't enable options in bios and my motherboard is Gateway Dt71 already try their new bios version of 2012 -__-. My cpu is i7 2600 I don't know what is going on here but I can see that it's your motherboard issue because I have a motherboard here and the BIOS has no settings to activate or deactivate igpu or even graphics card but still whenever I connect my HDMI cable direct to the motherboard I always get a display even when my graphics card is connected |

are you talking about wattman? 80-90w? i know that rx470 will draw 130-150w on kawpow ofcourse if you want get 12-13mhs as soon as you undervolt too much you will get 10mhs 120w. and eth 110w. always look what wall says to you.
You are wrong, I'm mining with a rx580 here at 89watts max and I'm getting 30mh per second from the card mining Ethereum, if you are getting 100 watts+ then you are wasting electricity, you need to lower voltage to 850mV |

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, So this is what I have tried to get it working; - Changed the riser, iv used different risers of the same version(008c) and 1 version 007s riser - tried all 3 different power options and combinations of them -Tried 2 different PSU, both high wattage - changed the motherboard -flashed old bios, and used the bios of similar cards -forced gen 1 PCI This is the really weird one, I taped the PCI pins on the GPU so that only the 1x pins in the front were exposed, I plugged the card into the 16x slot and it worked like a charm, fans could be controlled. Then I plugged the 1x riser into the same 16x slot, plugged the GPU into the riser, and it didn't work  This tells me it's riser related, but it looks like a signaling issue and I have no idea how to fix it. So nothing iv tried worked, please let me know if I missed something. Keep in mind it's not all my 1660 supers have this issue, only the Palit and rog cards. The only thing left to try is a ver 009 riser, but from my understanding, the only difference is the power input option? Thanks again for the help thus far. There is nothing wrong with those risers 007 and 008, I'm using them in my rigs right now and no issues or whatsoever, now it's even more confusing since you've changed the motherboard too, how many graphics cards can you get running on the motherboard with no issue ? |
