Guys! Lets talk to the Blackcoin guys in their thread and tell them why Faircoin is a lot better than Blackcoin. Blackcoin have 74 Million coin, Faircoin 50 Million. Have anyone else noticed it?
Faircoin has very similar early trade pattern as Blackcoin had.
Will it follow Blackcoin in price? Or not? Or will it grow out blackcoin?
Some advantages for Faircoin:
- Distributed much more widely.
- Many chinese support groups.
- Only 50 Million coins while Blackcoin have 74 Million.
- Blackcoin have some big whale holders, just see the rich list, somebody at the PoW stage mined a few.
- Just started a multipool.
- More accurate PoS, better than Blackcoin's PoS!
If it will follow the Blackcoin than its 9x times profit, or more.
The coins are so cheap.

The devs made the "mistake" on purpose, they knew after the 7000th block miners will get a 400k coin for each block.
They knew it but the majority just saw it hours later, so they could make easily 400million coin for themselves.
If they wouldn't make a tons of money from that "mistake" they would fork back to block 6999, as any clever coin creator would.
They cheated all of those who invested in the IPO.
Its now just a new scam coin, get the fuck out of here.
Just ask this question to yourself:
Why don't they fork back to 6999? Almost nobody mined this coin in the 2nd day of the release.
Only a few small scrypt miners, they lost 0,00001 Bitcoin hash power, while the IPO investors lost 20-30bitcoin.
The devs scammed all of you, but it was more prepared than all the IPO scams I ever seen, if you think its not a scam than your an idiot.

FAC floor on mintpal has gone from 500 to 700 and now to 800-900 in just a few hours.
I saw someone throw an 8 BTC buy wall down for a minute. Probably just to get people moving. But
I smell some 500-700k market caps at least coming... hopefully.
10m at least, I wouldn't sell for 10k satoshi. Its like Blackcoin just better. |

I don't know what to say other than we already explained exactly what happened: Regarding the 13 btc, that came in from one investor about 30-45 min before launch. Since it was such a large sum they wanted an escrow and we obliged. To be honest, we were so busy prepping for the launch I didn't pay it much attention because I wasn't entirely sure they were serious. We had a good number of BTC come in up until a minute or two before 2 pm PST, which is when the PLC closed. We didn't accept anything after that time, but it did take me an hour our two after launch to finish listing all the info. I don't know how I can prove the 13 BTC came from a legitimate source without revealing the guy's identity, but I absolutely won't do that without his permission. I posted the TX ID and you can see we received that full amount so it's not a trick to retain coins--that would be counter-intuitive. We wouldn't spend all this time and effort to be transparent and then try to deceive users and keep coins. We don't have 48 BTC, I wish we did. If that was the case we wouldn't have offered any Pre-Launch Coins because we wouldn't have needed any. It's a sad moment to have people drag your name through the mud and make false accusations because of greed. I'm sorry that someone investing caused you to receive less coins but that doesn't make us liars. So in other words, you are saying that the IPO is here to cover your personal need. Self charity, nice concept indeed, so much for the non profit... Who said that? Your arguments are so asinine. This is from the OP: Clean Water Coin is a major endeavor and although each of us on the development team has a “day job” we cannot fund this project entirely ourselves. If we could we would. Wherever possible we’ve relied on the skillsets of our team to put in work and reduce the costs, however, there are still hard costs and fees that we could not offset. That is where the PLC comes in. 100% of the BTC invested goes towards the Clean Water Coin Initiative. From development and server fees to marketing and outreach programs. We are not using the IPO as a source of income--that’s what our day jobs are for. So by investing in the PLC you are not only getting Clean Water Coins, but you’re supporting the organization and helping to build a charitable community. I feel like Frodo right now and the PLC is the ring. I wish it had never come to me. Basically, someone watched how much was being invested at launch, decided to put a percentage of his or her stash in CWC. All of the BTC made from the coins will go towards keeping the project going, which makes perfect sense. That is how this non-profit works. Once you have the coin up and running, the charity donation come from the volume of sales. Non-profits will be required to keep detailed public records of all financial transactions. The app for non-profit status puts them under the eye of regulators (who may or may not be effective in policing non-profit start-ups dealing with currency swaps). Buying a portion of the PLC makes no sense, since they (the devs) have all the BTC from the PLC "sales", but lost half their pre-mined coins to people at bargain basement prices compared to what they could have got just from doing what they already said they were going to do, then selling all 10MIL when they were at the peak of the media attention and community fervor. There is no reason for them to have bought 13 BTC of their own coins, at least no reason that makes it worthwhile. If this coin performs half as well as some others that didn't have the image potential this coin has, I will have made a good investment choice, regardless of my heavily BTC-laden friend who got in under the line. Moving forward! This exactly. Why would we try and put in 13 btc at the last moment? I'm sorry but it is so illogical and idiotic. Time to move on, we've wasted enough effort arguing with people who only want to cause chaos. I have invested too a little BTC and I was a bit angry when saw somebody invested 13 BTC and my Water stake got halved, I said these must be the devs, but after I realised, oh they could invest in the own project buy making a lot of small 0.1 BTC or 1 BTC investments and nobody would be angry, so I don't think they were it. But it could be good for the coin, this big whale must be very curious about this project, and he will keep their coins for a long time I guess and won't bump it. I see a very high potential in Water, still when I own only a very small part of it. |

This coin has MASSIVE potential to make money for both investors and for the charity they support.
The non-profit application is GOLD for getting press in the coming weeks. Journalist's LOVE being the first to cover the next "tech that's good for humanity" stuff. If the charity fund draws in enough money to legitimately help ANYONE who needs clean water, and there is press there to see/film/write about it, then it is a solid bet that there will be a new "sure thing" coin investors can feel GOOD about investing in. (Greed is much better served on a plate bought at a charity auction. ;p). This means more money, which means more water, which means more press, which means more money, which means....
We all have seen the potential for crypto-currencies to create new avenues to funnel much needed money to charity causes by tapping in to people's desire to trade up! While it is really nice to see coins sending a team to the Olympics and such, imagine the impact of seeing fresh water brought to thirsty kids! It is GREAT to be part of new and innovative avenues to bring prosperity and much needed physical resources to people who would otherwise be lacking of both, all just by trying to make a buck! This crypto-coin phenomenon has a lot of potential to fundamentally change the flow of revenue to new demographics, and ensure it is not just lining the pockets of bankers who turn around and loan it out to those who actually need it at outrageous interest!
All that is standing in the way of one of these charity coins surpassing everyone's expectations and changing people's lives is a team of hardworking, honest developers, some good marketing, and others along the way willing to push it along when their help is required. I hope that this team can live up to those requirements and that investors are aplenty.
I am excited about a few coins for various reasons, but this is the only one I have been excited enough about to break my own rule and invest in pre-launch without knowing anyone on the development team from any previous projects or partnerships. As an investor, the marriage of charity causes and high-risk potential for HUGE profits is a no-brainer. The potential for profit is exciting, and the potential for passively helping a good cause is icing on the cake. The Non-profit app submission, good communication by the dev team, phone numbers, locations, etc made public....it was enough to entrust a relatively small amount of BTC to get on board the train early and just hope the tracks don't run out.
And IDEA:I would like to see a pop-up when I receive incoming coins to my wallet, asking me if I would like to donate whatever % to the public charity fund wallet. I can imagine a LOT of people would be willing to donate that way. You just need to gain trust, and that can be done by doing exactly what you already said you were going to do and proving you did it. =)
One last thing, it is IMPERATIVE that this coin use the most power-efficient mode of mining possible, for obvious reasons. You don't want to preach environmentalism and drive a monster truck.
I'll be watching this one closely, as will a lot of others, I am sure. Do it right, and it will EXPLODE. Do it wrong, and....well, most of us have already seen it done wrong and know where the coin ends up. =)
I wish this team and this coin the BEST of luck and will support this coin publicly until I am given reason to cease doing so.
Fantastic post. Everyone should give this a read. I strongly agree that there will be many journalists reporting about this coin. Its obvious, WATER is the coin of the year! They made something that wasn't before, a true organization based on crypto coins. |

Some idea:
Relaunch and we have to submit our private key to the website with a newly generated different coin address?
So the dev could check it that we have the stake, then make the new coin.

If the devs can prove somehow that the 15mil are indeed lost then it's all fair, if not then those coins will hang above the coin's price as a big black cloud and would never allow it to grow above 200-300 satoshi.

Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed I have got all the coins, but still even if only one stakeholder of the 49k who registered with the token won't get his 1000 coins, than I will never use this coin anymore, lock the wallet and forget it... This is not about who got his coins and who didn't, this is about there is somebody who didn't get but had to. |

I have got all my coins, however there is less coin now in the circulation its worth nothing to the coins value, because people now don't believe it.
I think we have only one solution:
Start a relaunch
with the the address database already
and make + 50.000 new stake, so make start the coin with an initial 100million coin, and accept + 50k new users with the same token method before.
This is the only way to make this coin the biggest.
