The 100BTC give away is cra cra ... No way a noob would feel apart of that. Plus I hope to provide informative information to them and us. I am hoping the original video will be reinstated in a week or so. NOT that it matters for the puzzle. BUT once all that is cleared up. I will be resuming the videos :-) ... I will be providing a link to this thread for people to view any discussion on the videos. As well as links to my twitter account. I will provide clues via twitter and BCT.

Thanks for the vote of confidence everyone. Till later

That’s for the replies guys. So, is pgp as we know it in danger of being cracked? Or where can I read more on what they are cracking?
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / 256 bit encryption cracked ... does it affect Bitcoin security? on: September 21, 2019, 01:02:12 PM
http://www.crownsterling.io/2019/09/crown-sterling-decrypts-rsa-asymmetric-public-keys-in-live-demonstration/

I am not a tech person, so I’m curious what all this means? Are they able crack a pgp message? Or simply connect to public key to the private key? Or what is this? Also, how might if at all it affect Bitcoin private keys?

TIA

SO it appears it is user henkster, here on BCT, that reported the puzzle.  He commented on this thread earlier. Syaing it was a sham and unsolvable and n\bla bla bla ... He just deleted the is comment.
This post? http://loyce.club/archive/posts/5244/52446558.html

For what it's worth: I appreciate what you're trying to do, and I really like Bitcoin puzzles. I found it too late though, so I hope you can sort it out with Youtube.

It might have been this comment. Not sure how many comments henkster made. Thanks for sharing this one :-)

The puzzle is more than likely lost to youtube for "copyright infringements" henkster claimed to be mycelium. AND I had a shot of my mycelium wallet open. Oh well. Im working on new stuff now. Thanks for the interest.

@BitcoinPersonalities

Like I told you earlier, next time upload video on youtube
and also on decentralized alternatives (LBRY, Bittubers, Dtube...)
and all henkpricksters can do nothing...

And don't change bitcointalk account

Will do!

Thank you

Oh shit i was that close goddamn it i knew it... i got the first 3 letters right i didn't knew the 33 in the cherry is a really a clue because you said it wasn't part of the clue so i disregard that part damn...

you were close to what? because you knew the PK started with a K and you knew that the next letter was a y?

How would anyone would have been close? Even if you figured out in the video he was telling us which position in the unscrambled key the characters that needed to be unscrambled were you still would have to scramble those characters (which have 720 possible combonations) lol.

Why are you scared to comment with your real account? Come on henkster dont cry like a little bitch because you couldnt write a code to help you ... lol  Cheesy
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Puzzle ... Free money to the first to solve it. on: September 16, 2019, 12:56:36 PM
KyMfrbCq7dfvVDT2xrpfmZ4KWTNpbXJg5YHzWG8t19yMBUvsP9vb

Throughout the video you heard and saw the scrambled characters. Quite a few people were on the right path. 1,2,3,10,33,45 and the last character.

The total scrambled characters for this puzzle was 8. Now before the wankers start to cry because it was like 40,320 different variations. It was also a little lesson in it. Our group conversation was the friend of the new user or anyone unfamiliar with compressed key formatting. Experienced user had a leg up on the first 2 characters.

The lesson here is, compressed keys currently start with K or L. Since this key did not have a L, we know it started with K. (now 7 scrambled characters) The following character would have to be an x, y or z (second lesson) and once you had the correct scrambled characters, process of elimination says its has to be y (an x or z was not scrambled) Now only 6 characters - 720 variations.

My issue is, user henkster has said he will be reporting my account to have it banned. Hes a true wankster. So, I guess I have to start from scratch. I will take this experience and grow from it. The unfortunate part is, new users will have no idea how to participate without instructional videos showing how to use bitcoin software. So, I guess Ill just be instructing them to find their own source on the internet. AND that was really the goal here. Showing new users Bitcoin isn't as hard as they heard it was. Yet, the lesson a few have commented to me is, I knew Bitcoin was a scam. Great job kid, great job :-)

To anyone who doesn't use or know how to use PGP, I recommend googling how to use it. Install it on your device. It is so handy for electronically securing everything text related.

SO it appears it is user henkster, here on BCT, that reported the puzzle.  He commented on this thread earlier. Syaing it was a sham and unsolvable and n\bla bla bla ... He just deleted the is comment. He's upset I have posted his email in this thread. Which I didnt intend to do, but I cant remove it now, Its been quoted. Its obviously a secondary account for someone here.

Anyways, thank this user for removing the puzzle.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Puzzle ... Free money to the first to solve it. on: September 15, 2019, 05:15:41 PM
The account is still up and going, for now anyways. Im under the impression this going to continue by this user. He wants easy BTC prizes. If he cant win, report the video. Whats to stop him from reporting after he wins in the future. Im here to promote a fun environment and this wanker wants to take and take.
so i assume you took back the prize even though others have already spent many hours working on it.
that's a major strike against your credibility. a sub-par puzzle on your first outing could be forgiven.
if you're going to attempt another puzzle, please take a moment to check out previous successful puzzles.

Funs over for everyone. NOT my fault or strike IMO. Video down so is the prize. Hows that fair to new users if they cant view the puzzle to win?

Ill regroup and return :-)
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Puzzle ... Free money to the first to solve it. on: September 15, 2019, 04:54:09 PM
Looks like all my accounts are reported by this user. Hes really mad he didnt solve the puzzle. He thought it was unsolvable and so he reported me :-) ... Guess Ill have to regroup and return using a different format for my videos. So, much for helping the new user figure out how to use a specific Bitcoin product.

Ill let you know when I return!

Later y'all

And they said MY cellium.....

LOL ... So I cant say mycelium?

Anyone know who/how to contact someone on youtube to make sure I do not make a copyright mistake again?

What a waste :-(
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Puzzle ... Free money to the first to solve it. on: September 14, 2019, 05:24:25 PM
I agree. I sure hope someone here wins the prize. Or at least not someone on my FB friends  Cheesy

I’ll say this the 33 does not represent the number of scrambled characters
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Puzzle ... Free money to the first to solve it. on: September 13, 2019, 06:24:41 PM
Hey Im human, I make mistakes. I cleared up the editing error. The comment said nothing about a person with a sign with text ( embellish much) ... Ill get better as we go along. Just bear with me :-) ... The clues about which characters are scrambled are in the video.

If this video sucks in your opinion, feel free to offer some of that experience advise you got to help improve your chance of winning.

Thanks
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Puzzle ... Free money to the first to solve it. on: September 13, 2019, 04:37:01 PM
by the way where are you guys getting the "scrambled" key from? i couldn't find it anywhere in the video.
The scrambled private key is in the description of the video:
Quote
Welcome to our debut #bitcoinpuzzle video. In this video I tell you a little bit of what to expect for future #puzzle videos. I hope you enjoy!

Scrambled private key - M5BfrbCq7yfvVDT2xrpfmZ4KWTNpbXJgdYHzWG8t19yMbUvsP9vK
This is exciting. It's a nice way to get people attracted to the topic and the channel by giving them puzzles. Since we know it's not a scam, it's a good game to play. I, however, am not very strong with puzzles, unfortunately. I am pretty sure I cannot solve this one, but I'll just leave everything that seemed potentially important here. Maybe it can help others Grin
  • Cherry
  • Green herbs (corn?)
  • Something is reflected in the glasses in the green light
  • Bitcoin.org
  • Some white dot/a fly near the end of the video.
  • And we know that not all of the characters are scrambled (from the comments under the video).
Good luck!

Thanks for the shout out. Like I said, I hope to have better watching material after the first videos.

Clues are all around :-)
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Puzzle ... Free money to the first to solve it. on: September 13, 2019, 04:14:51 PM

Its pretty obvious, since its a compressed key, It starts with either L or K and there is no L in the key. That leads me saying ( "first" thing you need is a wallet )

That's actually the most confusing part. For anyone familiar with public/private key generation it's obvious that a compressed key has to start with K/L.
However, it has literally nothing to do with  "That leads me saying ( "first" thing you need is a wallet )". I mean there is no connection whatsoever. Even connecting it to the 2nd statement(about private key know-how) would make more sense.

One of the hardest parts of making a puzzle is to ensure that each clue doesn't have an infinite number of potential meanings.

If you read the other clues I given it not as hard as you are making it on yourself. NOT all the characters are scrambled. Key starts with K/L the 1st thing ... Theres the connection. Now your statement about the 2nd should appear a little brighter to you.

Im not sure what you mean by not having infinite number of meanings? If every clue was in your face obvious, the puzzle would be boring. AND for what?
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Puzzle ... Free money to the first to solve it. on: September 13, 2019, 03:01:32 PM
Yeah too hard to trust a newbie member but I think its worth to try just for fun and dont expect even if you win, if you get the reward its better.

Im gonna try this later  Smiley
My gut feeling is saying the guy really is trying to do this youTube business. If you have seen the videos then you will agree with me. He has put a lot of efforts and honestly speaking for newbies this kind of information will be very helpful.

So I vote for OP that it's legit.

Thanks for the vote :-) ... The puzzle is definitely winnable. I've tried talking to newbies direct. Brick wall ... So, Im trying a different approach. AND Im not a major tech head and I know most newbs now a days are not either. ( At least in my area ) ...  So, I didnt want to attempt something that has already been done ( puzzle wise for current coders ) ... I will have different puzzle formats, but the first vids might be boring to old timers here. They will be more directed to new users. Then hopefully better material for all.

The video comments have lots of good clues ( for those looking for clues ) ... Its pretty obvious, since its a compressed key, It starts with either L or K and there is no L in the key. That leads me saying ( "first" thing you need is a wallet )

Hope that helps anyone that may be stuck with the formatting.

#bitcoinpuzzle still unsolved  Shocked ... I didnt think this scavenger hunt format would be this hard.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Puzzle ... Free money to the first to solve it. on: September 11, 2019, 12:05:12 PM
Again these puzzle. For me it is better to engage in trading than solving riddles

Solving puzzles isnt for everyone. It does take some thought and creativity. Thanks for your input :-)

Trading Bitcoin really isnt the point of Bitcoin, but who am I?
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Puzzle ... Free money to the first to solve it. on: September 11, 2019, 11:50:31 AM
The problem I have with puzzles like this is the ease with which this can be cheated. Let's take an example, someone creates a Puzzle like this and then they share the Private key with a friend (accomplice) and after a few hours or days the friend post the result and they claim the prize. The friend then gives the money back to the creator of the puzzle and they rinse and repeat the process. <with fake accounts>

What do they get out of this? Well, with a increase in the views and subscribers, the Youtube channel owner gets income and he could share that income with his friend. <partner in crime>  Roll Eyes

How do we validate that the winner is not a friend or family member? Well, it's basically impossible and that is the main problem I have with these puzzles.  Tongue

The only solution here is for you to get your ass crackin and let everyone know its real :-)

If I really wanted to "take the prize away" Im not sharing with a buddy ;-)

BUT the goal is to get more youtube subscribers ( thats why youtube exists IMO ) ... Like I said the bigger the channel, the bigger the prizes. I hope to educate myself and new users with the channel as well. Lots of people in my area still believe bitcoin is fake money. AND unfortunately there are a lot of bad actors in crypto. BUT they exist everywhere in life. They just choose to use real money now :-)

Good luck!
