1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange rates: kraken vs. binance vs. p2p on: February 09, 2021, 06:05:05 PM
hi,
I see http://preev.com/ has different sources as input for the exchange rates, as far as I can see, kraken/bitstamp have better rates than binance or other p2p services including localbitcoin.

What's the catch?
If there is no catch but just a fact, why most of you recommend using binance for buying BTC?

thanks

Why is your choice limited to 3 options? Besides localbitcoin, there are other p2p services, as far as I know. For example, you can read here https://cryptototem.com/paxful-review/ about one of them. I'd rather prefer p2p than buy in centralized exchanges with their KYC.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why not decentralized exchange..? on: January 27, 2021, 04:49:48 PM
In my opinion decentralized is one of the great reason that people love or apriciate bitcoin. I know there is many things too but its not about that or bitcoin. I am not too much experience able person in crypto world but with all my little experience i understand that people want a good project which is decentralized. But my question is then why we don't accept properly decentralized exchange..?

There is many point that people should trade in decentralized exchange. But what is the problem that every time decentralized exchange failed to stand up..? Was it us who don't show much interest about it or it's the outhority who didn't provide to us properly..? Is there any chance that decentralized exchange will stand up..?

Please share your thoughts.

Both in the past and in the present, there have been quite a few stolen or scam exchanges. Although I am also a newbie in this area, but the advantage of decentralized exchange is obvious to me. From the user's point of view, the security of my funds is of greatest interest to me. I want to believe that in DEX no one will be able to access to my funds except me.

P.S. I saw an article here Custodial vs. Decentralized Exchanges, perhaps in it you will find answers to your questions.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 [ANN] 👾 [GAME] 👹 World of Ether - 🚀 BETA IS LIVE 🚀 on: February 23, 2020, 10:59:51 AM
Will the MGO tokens be supported? (Xsolla project)

Hope yes. World of Ether is a great game. And that mgo gaming platform is growing very fast, just check cmc.., so why not

World of Ether is worthy of the title of great. The words of the players confirm this https://revain.org/blockchain-games/world-of-ether. But as usually happens, there are minor flaws that prevent the game from becoming perfect. If developers listen to users feedbacks and make edits, it will be really great.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread on: December 09, 2019, 09:06:40 AM
Semux project seems quite promising and reliable, but I have not seen a single review here https://revain.org/projects/semux. It's a bit strange. There are many reviews on various projects on this platform. I was hoping that someone would write about Semux, as I think that this project deserves attention. What positive aspects of this project distinguish it from the rest? Are there any negative points that you would like to eliminate?

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: November 21, 2019, 07:25:32 PM
Litecoin will shoot at the moment when no one expects this. A sharp pump, the entry of fat hamsters ... Tearing the skin and repeat

Are you sure this can happen? I mean, shoot. Although I am not at all proficient in this, it seems to me that a litecoin will never be expensive. Many users speak well https://revain.org/projects/litecoin, but I have a different point of view. It seems to me that the bitcoin fork has lost its position in the market. This project does not offer something new and breakthrough. Then why is this needed?

6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 95% fake volume :) on: October 08, 2019, 08:03:44 AM
It is surprising that only 10 top exchanges have real volume. I am using binance for trade dan that is the best exchange platform ever been. I have used digifinex but their volume is fake and so many bots.

I dare to assure you that not only digifinex has fake volumes, but also the top 10 best exchanges most likely selected by you, too. These are the features of this sphere. We can’t even check and find out the true numbers. Only exchange owners know the real volume. If you have proofs with digifinex fake volume and bots, then you can write a review about it here https://revain.org/exchanges/digifinex. Or about any other 10 top exchange. It is good to say your assumptions, but it is better to back them up with proofs.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best place to sell a little bitcoin on: September 27, 2019, 11:55:00 AM
I have been away for awhile and was wondering where the best place to sell some bitcoin would be?

Was selling some on coinbase but now they want a copy of my ID and I don't feel comfortable with that.

Is CEX.IO a good place to sell?

Thanks

I think you can do that only if you use decentralized exchange site platform, if you hate submitting kyc.
But as of the moment, there are other exchange asking for KYC it is still fine as long you choose the best top exchange
listed at the coinmarketcap(CMC) and one of this are Binance, Okex, Houbi, Coinbene, Digifinex and others.

Of the exchanges listed above, I did not use only this Digifinex. Judging by your words, can trust this exchange? In general, people respond well to this platform https://revain.org/exchanges/digifinex and there are no pronounced negative opinions. It would be useful for me to know the opinion of  forum members, like you. Many thanks.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titanium - World's First Decentralised Cloud Services Provider 🚀 on: September 19, 2019, 08:08:28 AM
Another project which got much success intially but failed later due to corruption charges and later turned scam these are dark sides of this industry.

Yes, it's such a shame Titanium turned out this way after so much anticipation from investors and supporters of this project, it is because so many ico scam in crypto i guess why we have IEO taking over now, many people have been a victim of fake and scam project, yet nothing was done to refund to investors who lost money on this scam ico's. Let's hope IEO will be a better option for investors.

Really sorry that the Titanium ICO failed. This very often happened among crypto-startups. There are no guarantees in this area. By the way, IEO also does not provide a 100% guarantee. You need to carefully know more about the project in which you want to invest. Before buying Titanium tokens, you could read a review about it https://cryptototem.com/titanium-ico/. Such reviews can help you avoid unwanted investments.
