Personally I would suggest trading. It is easy to get into and simple t understand what to look out for in coins to invest in!

Getting started use binance (No ID or anything needed) maybe invest some spare change and play around.

I would suggest looking at the quality of design and also don't"t forget to research them before hand.

We were a bit backed on Support tickets but I believe I answered yours a while ago. I too had problems understanding exactly what the issue was and if I'm thinking of the correct support ticket then I asked you to elaborate. I know we have very few support tickets now that are over a couple days old so if you have responded and your ticket is still open then it will be resolved I would assume in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Most of the things we've discovered we haven't brought to the public's attention. We have become known to be able to investigate and resolve manners much more reliably and have been paid to do penetration tests for other bitcoin exchanges.

For mtgox there were people for over a week specifically complaining that their account was hacked into. After less than 40 seconds of investigating MtGox's security, Patrick Strateman was able to verify a security flaw. We spent hours trying to contact Mark however knowing it might be a week before MtGox replied and that they could potentially have been losing 10s of thousands per hour we made an alert. This almost certainly sparked the price drop exclusive to mtgox as the person exploiting mtgox realized now he or she only had a limited time to deplete as much as they could instead of staying under the radar. We could not have known that there was another mtgox security flaw aside from the CSRF flaw which allowed someone root access.

To this day users like our friend who had their accounts hacked into with the CSRF have not been paid.

In the case of BTC-e someone specifically asked us to check a potential vulnerability. We did attempt to contact BTC-e (just like with mtgox). After being unsuccessful we reported the issue. The person who asked us to investigate was doing so because they had heard from someone else that there was a problem meaning that knowledge of a potential problem was at least wide spread.

We keep security vulnerabilities private unless we feel it is unethical to do so. One exception is when keeping it secret is completely useless as it is already public to the extent that it is likely either already being exploited or someone is actively working on exploiting it.

It is wasn't for Patrick Stratemen alone the value of a Bitcoin would, in my opinion, be at most $2.

We have made progress in looking for a venue but want to check out all possible venues to be sure we pick the best place. We had identified about 50 venues at least to look at. Hopefully we will have a confirmation by the end of the month. There is also some negotiation taking place.

Our plan is to have a venue and date confirmed in 2 weeks time (hopefully sooner)

Part of the reason we will not release all sponsorship plans at once is because we are still looking into prices of certain things and what types of sponsorship we will guarantee. There is no cut off point for the sponsorship and people/companies can be a tier 1 sponsor without being a tier 2 sponsor and visa versa (tier 2 without being tier 1). You could also sign up for tier 1 sponsorship a month before the conference and that wouldn't be a problem.

A very basic example of this is that, until we have the venue booked, we will not know the physical limitations (we may allow for displays) or limitations which the venue operator may have in place. There are also other similar variables we have to work out which will hopefully resolve themselves once we find a venue.

Both London and Berlin are excellent locations to hold the conference and there are many people on both sides arguing for London and Berlin.

In London, December's average LOW temperature is HIGHER then Berlin's Daily Mean. London's average HIGH is almost 2x that of Berlin's (wikipedia Climate charts for the cities)

Obviously we can pick only one city. Obviously we cannot throw a conference in both locations as to throw a quality conference takes a huge amount of effort. After long thorough thought we realized London was the by far best place we could throw the best conference.

We can guarantee a much wider audience which will make it a much more successful event (last year's conference, while being a great conference was a financial loss to us and while we love our projects we cannot continue at a loss - we still have free projects like libbitcoin which are a huge cost in terms of opportunity cost). In London, we can certainly bring a much better quality of speakers also which of course will increase attendance and of course the quality. We can organize things in a lot more of an economic way because we are based out of London.

Even for those traveling cheaply we are looking to provide low cost options in London. While we don't have anything concrete yet, we are looking at the ability for a venue (most likely not the conference venue) to allow for people to stay overnight at incredibly affordable rates.

We are hoping for a conference date earlier than December however venue costs will be our largest overhead cost (aside from our team's man hours for the next few months) and we must take venue costs into consideration. However, all things being equal (or close to equal) we will have the conference as earliest as possible.

We understand that if we have the conference in London some people who prefer Berlin will not be able to join us. We also realize if the conference is in Berlin there are many people who live in the UK or would travel to the UK that would not attend in Berlin. While making a choice like this is hard, the aforementioned variables make a London conference better quality and value for the majority of people. We hope to have information in the next 2 months as to if we can arrange for more affordable accommodations in London (something we will likely be able to arrange.)

I'm not sure I follow this correctly.

Admittedly I took only a cursory glance, but BitMarket.eu doesn't seem to have their identities up or a Terms of Service that I can find. The ToS we have is not just to protect us but also to protect user funds (ie we don't advocate illegal activity and if we find people using our services illegal we may have to report such things to protect not just our site but also our other users funds.)

I can't vouch for BitMarket.eu but relatively speaking I have not hear of them lying, stealing or being hacked or any combination thereof so that puts them at the head of the pack for most prominent bitcoin exchanges. However, I can't even see the company name behind BitMarket.eu (again maybe need to look a lot longer). I think they will be attending the European Bitcoin Conference, if so, that will add some credibility. However, they may simply just be a sponsor. I really cannot comment on BitMarket.eu. They may be amazing people. Logically however I'm uncertain why you would prefer them now unless there is a plethora of information about them which I have not been able to easily find.

A prominent member of Bitcoin once told me he did not want to promote Britcoin (he was promoting other exchanges which had lied to their users). His reason was because Britcoin used to say something to the effect of "Once you have bought your Bitcoins please withdraw them from the site and into your personal wallet." Perhaps we are overly paranoid about security to the degree that it hurts our marketing. It is pretty ironic. We also have a running joke that having your exchange hacked and riddled in other controversies might really help your SEO which may sadly be true.

As we're running a free service we must be patient with our legal advice. The man who is helping us (and in turn our users) is doing so pro bono. It is not that I am being slow on this, I simply cannot demand the lawyer's time unless there was something urgent.

Myself, Amir (genjix) and Patrick (phantomcircuit). I do not have access to the funds, and would not want to. We have measures set up if something were to happen to patrick (god forbid) but he is the one securing the funds and processing the transfers.

When it comes to legalize. I trust the lawyer way more than myself. The same goes for Amir and Patrick. I will ask and find out if I can get clarification as to the extent and definition of this exact condition.

Perhaps we can reword it because now I see your concern. I will ask about number 12 and update it to be less ambiguous to laymen if possible.
