1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Longest transaction confirmation time? on: February 23, 2021, 11:16:08 PM
I tried the accelerator. I am really annoyed because I paid a higher fee to withdrawal from an exchange expecting to get it within an hour.

Still not confirmed and of course the price is down 15% from where I wanted to cash out.

What is the longest I should wait?
What wallet are you using? Some wallets will rebroadcast the transactions till it confirms so it never gets dropped.

Are you using 0.00010934BTC/KB or is that the total fee paid? If it's per KB, then it could be confirmed within a reasonable period of time.

Here is the transaction https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/4ee160ca1bb5a2cd05fcfe6477c14e8c66a240cac7b7c2c968ad0dd6b5f384c4

I moved some BTC over 3.5 hours ago and it still doesn't have 1 confirmation.

What is the longest I should wait?

I never said I was selling it for the traffic. You can buy a lot of websites for the traffic. This is a domain sale.
7  Economy / Auctions / Looking for a buyer for hoteldeal.com on: November 28, 2020, 03:30:24 PM
A bit of a back story. I have owned this domain for a bit over 7 years. I am not a developer and bought it for around $70,000 as a project domain from Marchex.

I paid a developer a lot more money to work on a full system to run the site.  It was always self funded and the amount it was costing me far exceeded what I was able to continue to sink into it. So I decided to let it sit until I could do something with it. Currently with WordPress and booking affiliate box.

Well my life has taken a completely different direction and I don't have the time or money to ponder this project anymore. Therefore I am looking to recover what I can and let a new owner, who could make a multi-million dollar project take it on.

I'd prefer a crypto transaction but really open to anything. In the past when I traded high end domains I used escrow.com that will work as well.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone know a dice game that is actually fair? on: September 24, 2020, 07:48:28 PM

If you lose to a bet, there are ways to verify the result of the dice. I'm sure you have found how way to learn the provably fair system which most casinos will provide the encrypted hash. Here's a good page for it www.provablyfair.me/verify-bets/

There is also this thread here seems to have detailed it all regarding those seeds. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5227525.0

Thanks Carbon. That explainer threat is the closest to what I was looking for in this thread.

All you guys were helpful I am just not very technical. Learning.

I know they all have an edge. I am talking about a game where the stated odds are 49.7% meaning a house edge on of 0.3%. In that environment what are the odds of losing 11 in a row? 17 in a row? or 6 out of 7 bets repeatedly?

I should preface this with that I did have a couple incredible runs on this game in the past. Variance just catching up?

All of these supposedly statistically fair games seem to rape you when you cash anything out or just when you decide to bet bigger than some micro level.

Curious if anyone has ever beat one without getting crushed the second they take some off the table?
11  Economy / Services / Seeking partnership(s) for NBA playoffs on: August 11, 2020, 05:40:27 AM
I have been running a statistical, motivational, injury model in the NBA for 22 years.

Over time I have perfected the system to beat regular season games at approximately 70%. In the playoffs the number increases to north of 80%.

Clearly I was disappointed when the season abruptly ended but not so much after the restart.

I thought perhaps playing all the games at Disney would disengage the players the model wouldn't work as well.

In fact it worked just as well.

As such I am looking to really hammer on the playoffs.

So I am seeking guys who are already versed in sports that can put bets on the games that come up under the model.

I am not asking for anything along the way only that whoever is interested only play these plays and nothing else and after each week send half of the profit to my wallet address.

If you are interested send me a message. Anyone who works with me will also be able to ride along next season.

If you can not send a direct message email me rich -at - rjmg [dot] com
