2  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin trading bot for sale backtested 75% profit (LIMITED SALES) on: July 15, 2011, 01:34:01 AM
this guy's an idiot, he is supposedly a "professional C# developer" and yet he doesn't have enough funds to trade himself?
laffle. plus, historical results have nothing to do w/ the future. who knows what is going to happen tomorrow?
backtesting is worthless.

4  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [330 GH/s] "Eligius" pool: almost feeless PPS, hoppers welcome, no registration on: July 06, 2011, 11:34:21 PM
Any idea why the pool has missed its chance to pay me on the last three blocks?
Payouts are processed 50 BTC (+ txn fees) at a time, choosing the addresses which have been waiting the longest first. Since our last 3 blocks were rather long, the pool rewarded over 50 BTC per block, and there's a bit of a backlog. When we get to short blocks, it will catch up again.

how much is the transaction fee?

13  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: MtRed.com [280+ GHs, 0Fee, LP+, SSL, JSONapi, Auto & Demand Payments] on: July 04, 2011, 04:05:07 PM
so the downside to a small pool is blocks won't be found as often and you will earn less credits, but over the long term it should even out?

in 2days at MtRed i'm not making nearly as much as i did at btcguild

16  Bitcoin / Pools / do pools show an average lower MHash/sec than what u actually see on your miner? on: July 03, 2011, 06:50:32 PM
is it just me or do pools show an average lower Mhash/sec than what u actually see on your miner?

I check my speeds online a lot at two different pools, and both pools show speeds like 50-60 Mhash/sec lower than what I see in phoenix miner. Maybe on one lucky refresh of the pool's site I see what I actually am showing in Phoenix miner.

for security purposes i recommend you remove the "List User" option under Operations.

You are right, the link re-appeared with the new theme on accident, but I have since disabled that controller for that page entirely.

thanks for the quick response!
