2  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: August 09, 2017, 05:20:53 PM
My question is what does the 0.0000016 represent?
It represents an arbitrary number that some dude thought worked well for making the statistics graphs nice and smooth. It does not affect revenue at all unless you set the difficulty low enough that it overloads your poolserver's CPU or network connection with processing an excessive number of pseudoshares. I think it's better to not touch the pseudoshare difficulty at all, as p2pool's default values are generally reasonable.

I think I found the answer in the code...

Code:
if desired_pseudoshare_target is None:
            target = 2**256-1
            local_hash_rate = self._estimate_local_hash_rate()

2 to the power of 256 - 1 in my Excel yields 1.16e+77 and yes it does look like some arbitrary number...

Quick question about Pseudo Share settings for you miner when using P2Pool.

Everything I have read says to set your Pseudo Share using ADDRESS+SETTING. In the calculation for SETTING I see where you use the (miner speed * 0.0000016).

My question is what does the 0.0000016 represent?  I can't find any information regarding this calculation anywhere...

Does anyone know what version of p2pool-drk will run with the new Dash v 11.2.*?

I am looking to upgrade several p2pool nodes and apparently my version is now compatible with the latest Dash wallet.

Thanks

(Official?) Darkcoin Promo Video - New Version

Darkcoin, Not Bitcoin!

Please let me know of any other changes I should make. Thanks for watching!

-onetime

At 2:24 and 3:44, just change the old piece darkcoin by the new version ;-)
Otherwise it's very good ;-)

I'd also suggest that you redo the audio because the music is too loud and overshadows the voice track.

I wonder how many of the new ones used my dummy guide?

I'm looking to put up a MN tonight.... Can you send me the link to your "Dummy" guide for this dummy?

Sorry that you had a bad experience with our miner Hasher011. Unfortunately, your pool was not compatible with Leaserig. So the problem was beyond our control.

Since we provide service via the LRP application for Leaserig your account was immediately refunded due to the incompatible pool configuration.

We would appreciate you modifying your review of our service.

Thanks

Looks like we are off-line, rigs, website, everything.... How long has this been going on?

Any ETA on when it will be back up?
9  Economy / Reputation / Re: OurLink Reputation Thread on: June 06, 2014, 01:53:01 AM
Rented Hasher010 (SHA256 320.00 GH/s) and Hasher011 (SHA256 320.00 GH/s). Work perfectly. We strongly recommend to everyone!
How about a bonus?
Thanks.

Thanks for your Support... I just boosted your lease on both rigs for you!

Still a lot of work to be done, some big updates coming next week, but my goal really is to have the most useful p2pool front end around Wink

Let me know what you think!

Awesome job WindPath... Are you willing to share your work with others for their pools.
I'd be willing to pay hard mined BTC for it.

Let us know!

Thanks OurLink,

I have another big update rolling out this week, and a few more in the works. Once I get those rolled out I'll go back through it all, try to clean it up and make a tutorial on how I got from A to B... There are some changes required to bitcoind, and the file system. Also requires a DB (MySQL currently, but should be portable).

Stay tuned Wink

Sounds great... Can you give an ETA on when you will be ready to share your work?

BTW - I really like the interface and I think it has a very clean and professional look to it. Plus it is easy to navigate and fast. It's a huge improvement over the other available options out there.

We had a few outages over the past couple of days which we have traced back to a faulty router. The router has been replaced so our network should run more stable going forward.
We will continue to monitor the network and ensure we have a stable environment for your leases.

Anyone impacted by the outages over the past few days will be compensated for the down time.

Thanks

Rig is off been for a couple hours, please fix (if fixed please extend by a few hours).... or refund.

Thanks

 Thanks for your notification...

We are aware of the issue and working to resolve it as quickly as possible. Once the problem is resolved we will adjust everyone's rental periods accordingly to ensure you are compensated for the outage.

Thank you for your  patience.

Thanks! I'd like an hour of hashing. I do appreciate the reimbursement. Still a great transaction in my mind. :-)

The machine was hired by another miner who purchased a 24 hour package. His rental will end at ~8:00 AM EST tomorrow.

If you will send me your pool information I will setup your hour hashing to start once his rental ends. You can send me a PM with the information.

Thanks

Okay... I just started hashing to your pool stratum+tcp://stratum5.dogehouse.org:3335 with your worker information.
The time started was approximately 7:40 AM

Happy Mining!

Rented rig HASHER002 for 6 hours. Went down for about 20-30 minutes around the 2 hour mark. Rest of the rental went well. Have not seen compensation for missing minutes.

Sorry for the outage... I can reimburse you for 1 hour or I can give you a FREE hour hashing. Just let me know which you would prefer.

Hey, thanks for renting.
yes, I have 1 Butterflylabs single 60ghs (OrionX)
and 2 antminers 204ghs (Orion2 and Orion3)

Very good machine, can I ask you what is it the 60GH/s ? BFL ?

Thank you

I notice that your hashing rates stay fairly consistent. Would you mind telling me what your default pool is that you are using for your miners?

Hi,
I'd like to purchase 10x L1 option.

It was removed from the OP again!

There is a 1 per customer and limited quantity per round available for the L1 option.  I can do one lease and 9 hosted or just one lease.  Let me know.  I'll fix the OP again.

OK, please cancel my order.

I PM'd you that was going to open up bulk leases.   If you are still interested in QTY 10 let me know.

I would be very interested in the Bulk Lease option of 10 - 20 or maybe more...

Let me know what the prices are please!
