1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Being nice always bring disrespect. on: Today at 01:48:21 PM
I quite disagree that being nice brings disrespect from people, foolish people will always pay evil for good done to them but that is not to categorize nice people as the ones that are always disrespected in the society. I have seen a lot of nice people that are given due respect anywhere people knows them, they are treated nicely because of their characters. I know that people who are nice to a fault are usually exploited because of their kindness but again it is only the foolish and ungrateful that tries to take advantage of other people's kindness. There many decent people who cannot take advantage of other people's meekness to disrespect them. There is need for nice people be to be smart so that they will know those that are unduly taking advantage of their kindness and avoid them by all means.
Nice people are the most respected in every society. All their good deeds are told to neighbors and friends. Ingrates are known for finding faults or laying accusations. As you know, nobody is above mistake. Sometimes the nice person may be fed up of the ingratitudes shown to them by the ingrates, yet they can't run out of friends and help from those who value the kindness they share for their neighbors. Kindness rotates and pays off in different ways it helps set our mind free.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will the world follow Greece on how they restrict children from online gambling on: October 01, 2025, 02:26:05 PM
It could be another means for the government to rise up more documents from a certain age group. The kids wallet still has KYC on it where the parents would upload documents pertaining to the child. That's not real, they would have made it in such a way that documents wouldn't be involve, the parental control kind of feature.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is prevention better than cure? on: September 29, 2025, 05:33:50 PM
Normally gambling is a personal decision so there is no need to worry about anything, as long as you are gambling responsibly without getting addicted, you should be proud of yourself and move on regardless.
Gambling is nice and all except for problem gambling, which has risen concern amongst people in every society. Friends, relatives, and family get affected directly or indirectly, through thoughts or physical misdeed, like misusing family wealth for gambling purposes. All of these disappoinments it drops about gambling brought in a bad label on gamblers, and have caused harm to loss chasers.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins Risk or Opportunity? on: September 29, 2025, 05:07:23 PM
There are countless number of Alts in the market with new coins launching every day or week. It's natural that when you have so many Alts in the market there worth will go down. It's not possible as investor to identify which project is real and which project is scam. There are cases where even real projects fail just because the founders claimed features that were impossible to be integrated at development phase. That's why it's better to keep focus on top alts listed on CMC.
The founders do not also know of what would be of the market. Speculation attract buyers, for the fantasies promised. New projects weaponize predicting how well they'll progress in a short time to potential buyers, to get them rolling in money for maintaiance and development. These things are ran like any other company, when the buyers are no longer there the goods decline in value.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Individual freedom or social problem? on: September 29, 2025, 03:51:31 PM
But the government should regulate this to prevent people from becoming addicted to gambling. That is because no one will know when their control weakens and makes them addicted to gambling. The government should educate their people about the danger of playing gambling so people will double think before they gamble.
Government would have set up rehabs and therapy centers in rural areas to help curb addiction. With one, two, three.. addicts in a society the chaos will be worse and tiring to watch. Complainers and victims are left untouched, the number of problem gamers increase every year, just as the revenue grows. The Government benefits from the revenues and taxes on winners, so, it's quite close to the reason behind the negligence.
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Causes of marital conflict on: September 29, 2025, 03:36:13 PM
all these problems can be avoided if there was open communication between two people i truly believe that honesty is the basis of every relationship the couple must not be afraid of making mistakes or doing something wrong as long as there is open communication so they know what their partner wants and needs and what they can do to avoid any of those
Talking things over is the first aid to a broken home. Memories watch down their thoughts or ways they've been helpful to one another in the past. The thing is they assume nothing is working, while things were wrong. Life can be cruel, but little changes grows to bigger chsnge. Therefore, at a constant verbal and emotional response to a spouse's signs and reaction, painful thoughts could be straightened out. The problem would be getting them to talk it over. Nobody's complaints happens to make meaning to the other party.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Convince others to tap retirement plans on: September 29, 2025, 03:19:42 PM
Retirement plans paid at once isn't recommendable, bad interest rates, bitcoin is much better, great gains. Fiat is the worse way of running a retirement plan, 10 years of compounded money could go down at the finishing of a home. Prices increase and the value drops. Whoever would want to do any kind of retirement plan should do btc. It's amazing.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you also go through this stage in gambling? on: September 29, 2025, 03:00:00 PM
There are many games for gamblers, but they are very critical and not everyone understands how to play those games at the beginning. Dice and Crash are common games to start gambling now and besides that, slots
Gambling is more challenging with money, I began playing on Demo and it felt so nice, the numbers were going up. But when I tried the same method on a real black roullete game, the outcome was never alike. Losses came in faster.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Internet search about Bitcoin can be misleading for beginners at times on: September 29, 2025, 02:39:36 PM
There is no better explanation or persuasion than letting them find out the evidence, the truth, for themselves.
Serene information on bitcoin are meant to be researched. Documented works and books. Bitcoin is not like any other course where a several blog posts can conclude. The person must stay current at the happenings and changes in the market. The moves from top VCs, which direction of the market are there heading forward too.

What also matters is the next decision, they'd take after figuring out the truth, would they doubt action?
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are politicians not truthful? on: September 29, 2025, 11:46:23 AM
This is mostly common in Africa countries politicians don't fulfill promises they always believed they can't win election if they don't tell lies to the people and due to hardship in the country they accept little pinnut given to them and vote blindly. They have intention to fulfil their promises during their champagne after elected they become greedy and start embezzling the country funds instead of building projects their wants are always insatiable.
Leadership is emulation -  previous leaders have an eye or hand in the current leadership. Nothing changed. Good leaders also try to be like the great leaders of their past soldiers. South African presidents tend to refer back to Nelson Mandela, and the United States has too many great presidents to think of, but they go with Lincoln at most times. There are leaders to be remembered by coming leaders. That's true leadership. When a leader is not forgotten he must have left something unexpected to the people. Some nations never produced leaders who put them on the map. When a leader don't keep to their words other great leaders won't associate with them. Which crawls the strength of the nation.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Individual freedom or social problem? on: September 28, 2025, 11:55:30 PM
Underage gambling shouldn't be encouraged so there should be some sort of limitation when it comes to kids under the age of 18 they must be shielded or restricted from such content. As for adults, I don't think there should be any form of restriction because they bookies or casino don't force anyone to gamble, it's something that's done out of freewill and personal decision, it's up to individuals to limit and control themselves
Individual freedom could cause social problem, the internet is free for both the aged and young, and has loopholes all over it for young people to access contents meant for adults. So, it's dangerous, but freedom supercedes it all, nobody is there to regulated who's using a specific gaming account or not. The KYC kept in place for this restrictions couldn't hold to the tricks of young players who wish to make money playing online. To worsen matters, elders are free to discuss wins around underaged wards, so it makes these young minds think that gambling is also for them. In a nutshell, the market is wide and the restrictions won't get to everyone.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The issue of Poor Rich men in our society. on: September 28, 2025, 11:19:24 PM
in the richman scenario.. for me a "poor richman" means to me someone who has wasted the earned/inherited money due to bad decisions
- they have all the glamour assets for appearances, but no money left to upgrade, maintain, keep the glamour alive
On the personal perception of themselves that would be right, but on the side of the people, such a man would still be seen as a rich man. Hence, a poor rich man in the view of the life around him, should be seen as one who is actually rich but chooses to stay around the poor, live like them, drink and dine with them in same neighborhood, with none of his friends knowing how wealthy the man is across the state.

When a 'poor rich man' with the definition you have given shows up they may be given more respect than this kind of poor rich man I've defined. Because people love to see them cars, jewelries, and shiney clothes to judge. While the actual rich man in their means has chosen to lie low and leave a segregated lifestyle. And because he has picked this side of living, they think his just poor or average, but on his personal perception he is rich and comfortable.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why does most of the none-reputable casino cook up stories on: September 28, 2025, 10:42:35 PM
Do people really use a specific casino because of the bonus only? Most people look at how easy it is to use a platform regardless whether the bonus is actually worth it. But at the very least, casinos should not be manipulating people into taking bonuses from them
Players hunt bonuses to enjoy games with lesser amount, being it casinos the reels could change to a win for a specific player and yield unexpected wins. The trouble begins there and most casinos whose financial backbone ain't too strong deny the responsibility of payment. The support teams are not also commendable. No gamer with no exceptions for the bonus hunters likes poor payment development after a remarkable win. A casino like that always find everyone leaving immediately to a better side where trust is paramount.
14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are politicians not truthful? on: September 28, 2025, 05:54:39 PM
Lack of credibility erases a leader from everyone's memory whenever they step down or their tenure gets completed. Good leaders who stayed to their words like Martin Luther king are still in the mind of the people and are remembered once in every year for the good deeds they did to humanity. Politicians are not the only victims, in offices and companies head of departments don't stay to the truth or keep to their words. And it affects productivity in the company and demoralizes workers aswell.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we still need more stablecoins in crypto? on: September 28, 2025, 05:35:47 PM
BUSD is no longer on any exchange. BUSD has been removed. Stablecoin is not needed much. Because Stablecoin cannot be sustained by everyone. Luna company launched stablecoin UST and it crashed. I think USDT and USDC are two very trusted stable coins in the market, these two are enough. There are a few more stable coins in the market, but it would be better if they were not there. Because if any stable coin crashes, people there go bankrupt. Stable coins should be a place of trust, so there is no need for too many stable coins.
The government has their eyes on stable coin and wouldn't take likely any event that'll be as bad as the Luna coin. Usdt is very strong being under the Ethereum network, which company has been around for a long time. Usdc, is quite great they've got the widespread and lots of networks supports them, I don't think there'll experience a crash. Other stable coins can be risky but if the team has proven to be trustworthy with durability against time and terrible market condition, nothing will be bad about checking them out.

Since most people won't hold stables for a long time instead they'll buy Bitcoin or eth with it and hold, buying and swapping after sometimes can be a better means of escaping terrible moments.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: The most important factor when building a business on: September 28, 2025, 05:15:16 PM
Every successful businessperson, or let me say, anyone who wants to start up a business, must at least know these: have a clear business idea by conducting market research to understand the customers and create a business plan that will bring out your strategy and financial needs. You also need to secure funding, then target the right audience in a suitable location.
Market survey is a compulsory strategy at harnessing the right approach of the market. Knowing the budget needed to push the business to the eyes of buyers comes through surveys, which is always affordable. It's a kind of way of being in the market without being established yet, the investor or business person isn't just going to the market for the first time when they open a shop or build an office. With that If the target audience is nice and responsive to the business they'll be no double mind in making the right decision on budgets and planning.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it still gambling if you're sure you're going to win? on: September 28, 2025, 05:03:45 PM
Is there anything like that exist? because there's no one will run a business if they give 90% chances of winning for their gamblers.

But I think that that of set up can still be called as gambling. Since even if you stated that they have great chance to win there are still 10% that can change their current situation and make them a loser. This is provably the dream situation of the gambler since for sure there are lots of people there are tired to have 50% chance or lower to win on the games of chance they playing.
That would be a kind of gambling where the house losses. They wouldn't want it this way, since they pay the huge paycheck to players, the house will deliberately run out of funds. If bankruptcy could get to them with the house edge intact, what more a 90% chance of winning, no way will it be possible to run a casino business.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does data really help us bettors, or are the bookies just always ahead? on: September 28, 2025, 04:44:58 PM
I don't think you can win the game/bet using the data alone, and sportbookies rely on the basic concept of odds, they favor the strong team but the reward on that game will be low and if you think the team got no chance of beating others then the odds will be higher, to calculate the odds they may use many stats than an average bettor but it doesn't guarantee a profit either.
Right from the beginning of my gambling experience it's always the underdogs who've got the best odds, and it's the tough part of gaming. Betting with the underdogs can be risky, but when things Turn around, though rare, there'll be more rewards for going with the small team. The big clubs don't offer big wins, because it's on everyone's mind that they'll win. Bookmakers use this to their advantage. If they have upper hands in game manipulation, that's not certain, but the brain work made out there by these bookmakers is somewhat extraordinary.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Sports Betting Here to Stay? on: September 28, 2025, 04:26:59 PM
That’s right, sports is something that a lot of people are passionate about naturally and that is why it feels looks like the backbone of the gambling industry. When individuals feel that excitement of watching a game, it makes it easier for them to put their money on it. I’ve seen some folks who only went to watch a game in a gambling outlet, they initially didn’t plan to gamble at first, but the thrill of watching the game sometimes pushes them into making a bet. Although the truth is that, gambling as a business actually predates sports betting because if you look back in history, you’ll see that games like the dice games and even card games have been around much longer before sports betting even became a thing.
These games have been around even without the online platforms. Players had circles that revolved around games like dice and sport there were also covered by pools, and close friends who would want to monetize their habit. Seeing the online settings only brought such users closer to gaming with devices. Without the online gambling these groups will begin to work together and earn. Remember, every innovation came with an invention.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2024/2025 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: September 27, 2025, 05:09:09 PM
No matter how you look at it, Chelsea defeat at Old Trafford left a deep wound, not only for the players but also for their fans, it was very disappointing. No one expected Manchester United to win this match. We know where the mistake was made, it was none other than one of Chelsea players receiving a red card early in the match, which caused Chelsea to lose. On the other hand, this was a golden opportunity for Manchester United to capitalize on the situation, and they proved successful by winning and securing three valuable points.
Chelsea had one narrative to change; equalizing that game. But, it was never made easy for them playing against 11 players on that condition. Nothing about the game turned out thrilling except for the Man U side who were winning. That was an opportunity they can't let slide, considering their position in the table.
