For all the idiots out there. This coin was made on Coingen, it's another crap, clone, scam coin. There is no possible way that you can "delete" other alt coins unless you have their private key and/or you're a billionaire who can buy all the other alt coins and dispose of the private key, thereby making them inaccessible permanently, because deletecoin has no valure, and you have to place your trust in the hands of the devs, who will 100% surely stock up on those "shit" coins instead of deleting them, and instead sell them to gain themselves a profit. It's a scam.

thank you I can absolutely guarantee this was not done by Coingen....it was not done for profit nor a scam. I can show you every single penny from the premine + what I have personally mined myself. If you are going to throw fud, please know what you are talking about first. Secondly the coin is dieing, without the hash to support transactions the chain is down to single sources. We are trying some developments to strengthen the overall coding and bring in new hashing but I just have a feeling that we may be dead. I promise you I had the best intentions but the two guys helping with the coding are not crypto guys and have since been pulled into a full time project (they are friends of mine who are contractors and were currently not working). That being said, if anyone would like to contribute or come on to help support the future I'd be happy to help you. I am a simple project manager with web experience and am doing what I can with what I can. I simply wanted to strengthen crypto by adding value to valueless coins. But again, it was not to rip anyone off or gain anything. I'd be happy if anyone wants to come on board. |

Also want to let the community know, we were one of the first to get on with the Better BitCoin Bureau and we plan on working with them as well to help better this place. Big things are still to come guys, I can promise you.

OK, so after a few weeks we wanted to let stuff die down. We are in the process of using investor funds to buy up anything <100 satoshi. With the current block reward, there is no way it should drop below 100. We, at this point, are almost ready to just go back to our original plan. No exchange is willing to meet our needs to be able to accomplish the goals and we have a few bids out to commission our owns but there is still fears of the responsibility of security, so we are still looking to whatever/where ever we can.
Additionally, we are in talks with a marketplace to get DeleteCoin added and add some true value to the coin. Once this is in place, I feel hash should pick back up and value will continue to climb. If anyone has any questions, please contact me. Thanks!

And now this coin is dead,,,it's a scam from start.
Call it what you want but it is not dead. We have plenty in the work and are currently in working with an investor to go ahead and buy the remaining of the delete coins from the market and start back fresh with the 25 coin block reward that we currently have. We are just trying to get the marketplace finalized and we can move forward from there. In all honestly we have been waiting for the rest of the dumps so we can move forward. |

Sorry guys. Let me explain what has been going on. We (my team and I) tried to develop an in house exchange that would allow us to do direct exchanges for alts all in house. After testing through Alpha we don't feel comfortable with the security considering what all has been happening as of late. That being said, we have went back to several exchanges with specific offers trying to get this taken care of. As of current, it is our #1 priority as it makes the coin much more visible and more easily exchanged. As soon as I get something more solid I will get it up here. Sorry for not keeping you informed, we were trying to hash it all out before I made any of it public.

Well, the exchange we had partnered with that had made some leading statements has backed out on us. We are going to the second exchange we had planned to use for this platform but it is going to delay the release. That being said, looks like we have lost some hash and the inevitable dump on Swisscex. I want to reassure you the premine is still 100% in tact and my team and I are going no where. We will continue to work different avenues until we can establish enough of a value to truly help crypto. More to come as soon as I get anything.

Why cant i send my coin to swisscex? it says the transaction has failed. My wallet is synced, any advice?
Im not really sure, I haven't sent anything to them. Anyone else able to help out? If not I'd be happy to open a ticket. Also still ironing out the final details of the new marketplace and voting system. If anyone has any other suggestions for coins to be listed to start please let us know. |

These coins are already low though. This is about knocking down shitcoins, not beating a dead horse. Also, FoxCoin and MIM have gone nowhere simply because their distributions were too fair, IMO. They weren't mined out in a month so didn't appeal to the get rich quick crowd which seems to represent this generation of miners. They are solid little coins, and don't deserve to be murdered. I guess this is all relative, which is why I think a formal voting system of some kind is needed, but PANDA, GLD (the original scam coin!), and MOON seem to fit the bill. We are building a formal one on the exchange itself, I was just trying to get the ball rolling. Ill go with Panda, GLD and moon to start and we can add from there. |

Still finalizing the new direct delete function. We are also looking to partner with the new Better BTC Bureau to help get some support for a stronger tomorrow. That being said, we were kicking around the idea of creating a supporting badge for legitimate coins to get our branding out. Feedback will be appreciate.
First I'd like to reiterate what the goal is here as I have had a run in with some coin devs lately, and after explaining our point we gain support. DeleteCoin is not here to try to crush all alts, there are some legit alt coins out there that have a place, a need, and are doing things for the community. These are not the focus of DeleteCoin. What we are here to do is give support back to those who supported coins and were burned. A lot of coins seem to just be made for profit, the devs get some cash back for their hour of work, then bail and leave the community holding the bad. At times, the community step up and try to revive the coin, other times, they are just left out. Our point is to bring a quick and painless end to their suffering and give them some value back for their coins that they spent the time, effort, and resources to mine and support. I'd like to create a list of coins that are legit and deserve a right to stay and give them a badge of support from Delete they can display as a marking of safety.
As I explained it to one earlier, it is like the Buffalo Theory. Crypto is like a heard of buffalo in our eyes, and a heard of buffalo is only as strong and fast as it's slowest and weakest. If we systematically kill off the slow and weak ones, we ultimately make the heard (crypto) so much stronger than it was before. The dilution of BTC and support across cryptos in the end will continually make the heard slower and slower each time a new one is added. It is our goal not to allow the whole heard to be eaten.

We have several big things coming which will bring us back. Hash is not as important as the value of the coin for the alt exchanges. We expected a drop off with the fork and reducing block reward. Until price levels back out where it is profitable, we will be on the edge. However I will continue to mine it to ensure transactions are processed as a minimum.

Alright guys, the exchange is almost ready to start. We are going to start with 10 coins and progress from there. What I need is suggestions for 10 coins to start so we can start testing the process. We will progress from there but we would like to keep it small while it is still kind of in the POC. That being said, please post any coins, with any form of active exchange, here in this thread and we will go from there. What we are going to do is allow for an auto delete function which people can submit direct exchange. We may have to rework the math a bit at the start until we can get the volume up on ALTS as well as the overall value of Delete up. AS of right now, if some alt is at 1 Satoshi, and they have 1,500 worth 1 Delete, math simply does not work for them it they will not sell. We may have to increase it to match current market prices but that will be tested/changed as we progress.

Another thought I was having. Obviously the details of how this whole system is gonna work are still up in the air a bit, but I would be careful about overly-automating the whole process of buying alts/dumping alts/buying DEL/deleting DEL. This system needs to have some unpredictability and randomness to it or it will never work and will be abused by traders.
Here is what I mean.
Say I am some poor schmuck stuck with loads of Shitcoin #112. Now, I do a bit of math based on the exchange rates for DEL you posted and all of a sudden I realize, hey, if I just swap my bag of Shitcoin #112 with the DEL devs, the DEL I get will trade for twice the BTC I would get if I just dumped Shitcoin #112 on the exchange! Well, I might as well just dump this DEL, keep half the BTC, and since I know how much of Shitcoin #112 I just sold you, I can take my profits and put in some low orders and get my bag of Shitcoin #112 back again when they dump it. Then I'll trade my reacquired bag of Shitcoin #112 for DEL...................................I think you know where I am going with this.
As hard as trust is to come by in this world, for this project to succeed the community needs to trust the development team here a bit and let certain things be unknowns. What if it was revealed that the DEL devs held 25% of Shitcoin #112? Well it would certainly hold the price of that coin down momentarily, but all you will have is traders jockeying to get really low buy orders in to scoop those coins back up crazy cheap for the inevitable dump by DEL devs.
Even worse would be if dump alt day and buy DEL day had some sort of pattern or happened on the same day of the week. On dump day, all the traders are slipping in really low buy orders. On buy DEL day, all of the a sudden all the low DEL sell orders are cancelled. Then, all the traders are just selling you back the same coins every week!
I am sure many other situations can be imagined. If the rate of trade between shitcoins/DEL is 100% predictable and calculable, if the DEL team is 100% open about what coins they are currently holding and in what quantity, and if the dumps/buy ups happen with any sort of regularity or predictability, you aren't helping to destroy shitcoins. You are creating a wealth of information that any trader worth their salt will exploit to the fullest.
My opinion is some randomness and unpredictable needs to be introduced here. The calculations included in the ANN on exchanging your alts for DEL, well maybe fine as a base, cannot be that predictable. Perhaps some way to randomize the reward for exchanging your alts. You might get 100% of the DEL you are owed based on those calculations, but that is just the average. Based on some sort of random factor, you may only get 33% of that figure, or 75%, or 140%, or 300%. Can't be sure.
And while I think the amount of DEL distributed through trading for unwanted alts should be revealed for all to see, I don't think anyone but the DEL devs should know what coins they are holding.
Dumps and buys entirely random. Maybe 3-4 dumps one week, 0 the next, 2 the next. Same patterns with the buys, random and unpredictable.
We thought about this also, it is not going to be an immediate thing which should combat people doing anything like this. We will build a quantity large enough to crash the alt an no one except my team and our partner exchange will know when, how much, and how frequent. |

I think this coin has fantastic potential. It has and will continue to have my full support.
My opinion, dev should use some of the premine to run a giveaway of say, 50k DEL. Run a few week long vote on which coins deserve to be deleted the most. Every coin is on the table. Each coin gets its own corresponding unspendable DEL address (they are the first to be deleted). Purpose of the giveaway is to allow people to vote without having to mine or buy any, in the interest of fairness. But every DEL you mine or buy gives you more votes. Every DEL you delete equals a vote. After a set time frame, the top 25-50 coins that are voted for being deleted are deemed to be the targets of DEL.
Possibly revisit this voting scheme every 2-3 months to allow new coins to enter the crosshairs, and old coins the community has changed its mind on to no longer be targets.
In regards to both of these, here is another change we are contemplating implementing but it will be down the road. As we continue to increase value, we may allow for sell orders to be placed on the exchange (once implemented). At that point we would allow voting based on volume and what coins people think are the most appropriate to focus on. From there, we can systematically attack each coin on an individual basis and allow for a much quicker death to most  |

Thanks for all the input guys. I can let you know this, my team and I are working several avenues to address this process and acquire alts. As of right now we are hoping to build value and work on the exchange aspect, which in the end, will ensure the premine is not being dumped as it will be placed within the exchange for an automated process. As I said we are in talks with a few exchanges trying to find the right fit, worst case scenario we will commission our own.

I just bought up 50k of my new favorite coin at swisscex, waiting to hear they are on correct chain before I withdrawal.
Thanks for the support, I tried to imply this fact via twitter that block was dropping by to 10% of original reward and to get it now as assuming price will adjust accordingly, no one bit and I didn't feel it was right for my devs or I to grab them up. That being said, it looks like the explorers, both Poolerinos and CryptExplorer have synched back up, I am showing the right chain as are both of them. I have a PM out to swissex and nxt-e to validate against them to ensure they are all on the right chain. That being said, BIG THINGS are in the works as of right now. I am in discussion with a few exchanges to go ahead and implement direct exchanges to help automate this process. I will post more when I have a confirmation of the next steps. Please Please Please make sure you get on the right chain, you are wasting your hash, you need to add Poolerino as a minimum as they are on the right one. I have verified locally with my wallet.
