Just wanted to say that using mymonero.com has been really awesome. It's been working extremely well and has made it much easier to use monero. I donated 40 xmr to the dev address. I know it's not much but it's what I can do for now.

Congrats to Jared, the team, and everyone who has helped so far. I've followed DGB throughout the last year and saw the hard work being done even when DGB seemed to be low on the radar. DGB definitely deserves to shine. I'm really glad to see things taking off.
what exactly is sending this price soooo high?? For me it's the long term development over the past year. Devs that won't stop supporting it, adding multi algo so more can mine it, also creating easy miner so anyone can participate in mining as well. Looking forward the future projects coming up like the exchange etc. These devs are serious about continued development. The community is growing as well and that's a huge plus. All this time Jared and team have been in this thread responding with support, even when times were slow. Any ground breaking news? this is a random pump it seems. Just curious Yeah, look at what's happened the past year, more so the past few weeks........................... Exactly it's a result of continued development and support. It's not stopping either, the team has future projects in the works. I think more are noticing that now. I like the fact that it's going up without such "big news". I really don't like when all some think about is what "news" is making a coin do whatever. I like to look at the past, present, and future developments. DGB has it.

Anyone who has followed DGB through the past year knows it has been through a lot. Jared and his team busted their asses making sacrifices to keep DGB going forward. This is why I totally respect Jared and his team because they would not let it fail. It’s taken some time but DGB has earned it and it’s time for it to shine now. Anyone can see for themselves reading through the 800+ page thread for DGB. The team has some great things planned. I’m not interested in comparing to any other coin or community. I believe that DGB will continually build it’s own growing unique community because it has a lot going for it. Congratulations to Jared, the entire team, and community. You guys deserve it.

Just to let others know if they had a deposit that was in limbo going to poloniex the last few months.
I received an email on my ticket and they have the wallet working and my deposit was finally credited last night (Sent mid October lol). Hopefully others that were in the same boat as me get theirs as well.

Boris has been trying to get together with their dev for quite a while. I have coins there as well, and have not been able to move them, but I have purchased many at good prices. I have also written many many support tickets with no remedy. The regular wallets dont work for the exchanges, because they use layers of security firewalls, and cold storage. Boris usually has to write special code for them. This was done for Bter, took only a hour. Poloniex took several weeks to get straightened out, and several meetings with Boris and the Polo dev. Since when is Polo sorted out? My funds are still disappeared from a transfer to my account with them 2.5 months ago. Did you check the blockchain? I sent 1200XCR from Cryptsy 3 months ago that got confirmed while in a fork. It does not show in the blockchain, although Cryptsy has a transaction number, not found int he blockchain. If your transfer is not in the BC, then it did not happen. Your XCR may be in the same fork as mine. Mine is in the blockchain that went to polo in October. I'm on my second ticket with them after waiting a bit since I knew there was a wallet issue. Still haven't heard anything. Although I see it popup under incomming deposits a few times but always 0 out of 10 confirms. I'm hoping they can sort it out but yeah polo for me isn't fixed yet. http://live.crypti.me/tx/17348682373526183032Edit: And to be honest it's kind of good it got stuck. I was transferring it to polo to trade so I could trade other coins at the time. Now I just want it back in my address to hold since the coins I wanted to trade it for went downhill anyways LOL.

I was able to donate to the posted address yesterday. Mine went through fine. Edit: You know what may have happened? Copying it could have created a space near the end. I notice this happens to me using firefox. I always copy and paste long text addresses into notepad first to check.

Hi all, I got myself a bit of monero at these bargain prices, however I have to keep it on an exchange because I cannot get a Linux wallet to work at all. I have tried many things. I am using Ubuntu version 12.04 32 bit. I would appreciate it if some of the experienced linux heads could help me out here. Don't wanna keep XMR on the exchange the whole time Thanks Anyway you can try to use 64bit version of linux? Right now 32bit isn't recommended until the embedded db is released. If you can try to run it on 64bit linux you shouldn't have any issues. Just make sure you have swap space setup if you have less than 6-8gb of memory. Once the db is released we won't have to worry about needing a large amount of memory.

monero client, sorry last link was missing 2 .dll's https://mega.co.nz/#!th5WmaQR!0TV2vdK4P7rDMUXH8WleKAink8B92gWjpslUI43sl_k this should work for all ( need dot.net 4.5.x) Works good so far. Testing on my mining pc with mining wallet. So does it just connect to any remote node or just one that you had setup? Either way its nice and fast not having the blockchain locally.

Zoidberg,
Just started donating my GPU to your address on cncoin.farm. I plan on leaving it there for a few weeks at least. It's doing around 1.8-2.0mh so it's not a whole lot but hopefully it helps a bit. Thanks for your hard work.

Anyone got a good peers.dat I can download? Syncing is not working at all anymore even with new generated .dat. Android wallet is not connecting for me either.

Magicoin was one of the first I solo mined. Never sold what I had. If my 1078 get swapped I won't sell those either. I remember the first magic blocks I found, I thought something was wrong lol...good times Anyways I agree that this process should be slow. I have to think about the current miners and price. It needs to be fair to them as well. The way the coin has changed I think the ratio is very generous and would completely understand if it was changed to 1:10 as well. One hell of a task to balance it all. Big thanks to dev for keeping the old miners in mind.

A Few Notes
So I have noticed many asking about the orphan like behavior and also the fork processing.
In the blog post, I mentioned it down in the notes, but it was kind of hidden. Here is a copy paste with relevant piece highlighted.
In the new system, you still need a client with your passphrase loaded and 1000 XCR to forge. Your client will try to win each block and may initially display that it has won. The network will then come to a consensus, announce the correct forger to nodes, and have the winner updated in your ledger. This means it may look like you won a block, however once the the block confirmed, it will update the winning node. This is also a normal behavior.
Basically what you are seeing is when the new block starts, your node trying to forge the block and saying it has won until it is told otherwise. You are just seeing the network update your node who the real winner is, and then logging it in the ledger.
Keep in mind this is an ever evolving temporary solution that may even turn into a permanent solution with enough tweaks to get the algorithm where we want it and clean it up a bit.
Also remember that we are doing a 1 min block time and the only transactions really occurring at the moment are transfers between users, exchanges, and passphrase fees. So we will still see a good number of zero fee blocks. The idea here is for everyone to see the potential of the system as we continue to build out and gain support. The more we build, the bigger we get, the more you will make for forging and the more full the blocks will become.
On the bright side, it looks like even with all of you coming online, we are all staying on the same fork (no more forking issues) and most here are getting it installed with little to no problems.
If you are still experiencing problems getting installed, please let us know! We will try to work through it with you.
Also, an install video is a great idea. As soon as Eric is available today I will talk to him about doing one for each version and see if we can get them posted to youtube.
As always, stick with us, we will keep you updated. We are happy to see you all still here and appreciate your support!
Doh I missed that myself in the notes. Thanks for the explanation. With that said I definitely agree it's working well. im not seeing any other issues at this time. All of my nodes are at least 2gb servers so no issue with memory. It seems from some posts we have seen an increase in memory use. Will some more memory optimization be possible for those running with less memory? You guys are doing a great job.

Because of the TEMPORARY random algo that replaces the Proof of TIme Algo, you will see almost every block show up on your forging screen as a forge. It is only a possible forge. Every node online gets this possible forge, then one is chosen at random for the actual forge.
You can also see this in the blockchain tab. Your wallet number will show as the generator for the top block, then be replaced by the lucky wallet.
Again, this is only a temporary measure until the PoT algo is bug free
Thank you for the clarification. I was wondering about that.

My linux node is running well. I did notice it tries to forge just about every new block tho. The fork cleanup is working well since they get cleaned up with each sync. The windows install works great. One click install and you're off running. Great job devs. I also got my withdraw from bter so all good there.

Can't sync blocks, stuck at some point even if I deleted blockchain.db and resync.
The latest block I got is shown as following:

Ok I know this sounds like a little pain.. but it shouldn't be to bad... first delete your blockchain.db file... then re-install the wallet... this will first uninstall and then download the blockchain.db and then install the wallet... it is important you delete your blockchain.db file before clicking the installer a second time... bc if it see a blockchain file already there is will not DL the blockchain file... I hope this makes sense I will be home in a few hours to hammer out these little issues you may be seeing... I am using a linux server, so I just kill the node process, delete the blockchain db, and then start the node again. Still the same result. Oh hey I run 2 linux servers and I had to take the downloaded blockchain from the windows install, copy it over, then start it. I had same issue as you on my linux nodes. They would stop only after downloading like 23mb. All good now after I copied the downloaded blockchain from my win box. Can you share me a copy of the blockchain? http://downloads.crypti.me/blockchains/blockchain.db.zip
