Can't sync blocks, stuck at some point even if I deleted blockchain.db and resync.

The latest block I got is shown as following:

Ok I know this sounds like a little pain.. but it shouldn't be to bad... first delete your blockchain.db file... then re-install the wallet... this will first uninstall and then download the blockchain.db and then install the wallet... it is important you delete your blockchain.db file before clicking the installer a second time... bc if it see a blockchain file already there is will not DL the blockchain file... I hope this makes sense I will be home in a few hours to hammer out these little issues you may be seeing...

I am using a linux server, so I just kill the node process, delete the blockchain db, and then start the node again.
Still the same result.
Oh hey I run 2 linux servers and I had to take the downloaded blockchain from the windows install, copy it over, then start it. I had same issue as you on my linux nodes. They would stop only after downloading like 23mb. All good now after I copied the downloaded blockchain from my win box.

Can you share me a copy of the blockchain?

Zzyz........ Did your XCR get transferred from Bter yet?

Still an issue with bter. I transferred earlier and shows successful with tx ID but I can't even find on block explorer. I put in a ticket myself.

Me too, I can't see the withdrawed coin in wallet.crypti.me.
Of cause I can't see it the my own node either because of the block sync issue.

Seems forked again......bter and the official wallet are on the different fork.

Maybe it's my time to dump my 2M coins when next time the price is up.
I lost my confidence on the team.

So many months passed, the basic wallet still does not work.

Okay do it. As I've said this is similar to a Windows beta. Everything isn't going to be perfect in the beginning.. Talk is cheap, dump your coins if you're not happy... We don't need threats of you dumping your coins..

Why consider my words a threat? Curious.......
I just express my real feelings.

Actually I am a strong hand, accumulating including and after IPO.
But, to be honest, it's hard to accept that basic working wallet still does not work 3 months later after the first release.

Hope all will be well and I can change my mind later even when the price is up next time.

Thanks, it works!

But.....the process will be killed when loading around 6000-8000 of total 33950 blocks.
it consume too much memory in my 512MB RAM virtual machine.

That blockchain.db.zip is from October 5th. I don't recommend using it.

Can we get a newer one posted, please?

Is anybody else getting stuck at 22490112 in their blockchain.db size. Third time in a row on clean t2.micro instances.

Also getting the same results on Digital Ocean. Gets stuck at exact same block:

Working wallet has been out and functioning since release, they use a brainwallet like NXT.

https://wallet.crypti.me/

Windows installer is more of a easy forging wallet than just a functioning wallet, first of it's kind.

I think you are mad for wrong reason.

I am currently speaking with Customer Support on BTER regarding XCR withdrawals that I pointed out earlier.

They disabled withdrawals for now, I think it is something on their end which will be resolved soon. Will update with progress so we can start forging soon.  Smiley

Orphan blocks, are basically valid blocks which are not part of the main-chain. Normally it can occur when two forgers produce blocks at similar times, this is most likely the reason for all the orphan blocks we are seeing. All of my orphaned blocks have been produced within 10-15 seconds of the forged block that has been accepted onto the main-chain.

I am now forging.  Smiley

Took me 1 minute to set up. Ridicuously easy, why hasn't this become 100x more popular than mining stuff?

I spend nothing, I do nothing yet I earn and contribute. Will let you in how goes in terms of return on investment after I let it run for a while. Very smooth sailing.

Hmm I see, but which forgers gets it is determined by who's forged longest I think? Or have to have it up for an amount of time before network counts on you?

Could it be network rejects your block in favor for the other guy because he's forged longer when you produce blocks at same time?

Need to find what applies to current algo, can't remember it now  Smiley

Devs need to

Update original post with new information -/ releases. (the current algo, new wallet, timeline)
Update www.twitter.com/crypticoin with info, people follow it for one reason and that is for latest news.
Market the Windows installer a little bit. A video just setting it up is sufficient to show just how easy it is to set up.
Editing all news posts linking to blog.crypti.me for releases, it is OK to link to it but I think you should write a part of the message / the whole message in post here because of people skimming through side to side might miss it.

Also did you contact Cryptsy/Poloniex about your new version?
