Also transaction messaging and a new GUI is your only unique point? And you require funding for that crap?

That literally takes 1 day's effort to make.

You're the imbecile spouting that everything is FUD (which you don't know the definition of, clearly), we're just pointing out that your coin sucks and does nothing original and it is your job to refute our claims with actual evidence, not false promises and misleading advertisments.

Plus transaction messaging already exists. Check Florincoin (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=236742.0)

You'll probably just copy paste those commits into your own codebase.

Also, it's been 48 hours. Where's my proof video?

EDIT: Also, since you'll be stealing Florincoin's transaction messaging feature, you might as well remove your image in the main thread and on your website detailing "encrypted" transactions, since you are misleading, if you want to overlook the fact that you're scamming as well. If you're developing your own, then I want a clear explanation of how it's going to work (you mentioned a separate blockchain).

HAHAHA I JUST FUCKING NOTICED THIS:

BACK OUT NOW, RECALL YOUR IPO INVESTMENTS, THE "DEMO" VIDEO IS A SHAM!

HOW CAN HE SEND 100 EDGECOIN WHEN HIS BALANCE IS 0? CHECK THE VIDEO FOR YOURSELF!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPqnSbCGgQY

YOU'RE FUCKED, DIN!

Quote
First early beta demo video of sending/messaging is here! Smiley

Point out any flaws you see! So far we've just noticed our programer had forgotten to add the code so the balance value on the send tab corresponds to owner's total balance, we unfortunately didn't see it and recorded the video a bit early, this issue has now been fixed, and will be in the next compiled build

You're a stubborn one aren't ya

Since you're online, give me the demo video you promised me you'd have 48 hours ago.

Concerning _Doge's questions

Two of them are redundant and answered

One of them is requesting unfinished and open code before launch
Quote
I want to see you download, MD5 verify the checksum of a known miner software, compile, run GUIMiner, CGMiner, or any of the equivalents and then start mining since the difficulty must be low and I must see unconfirmed coinbase transactions show up in your wallet.

Chop chop.

Alright people, since Din is too big of a fucking pussy to continue this conversation in the public eye, I'm going to show you the questions he is avoiding. The things I asked him to post as proof are essential to this being real or not.

He has ignored all of them.

Here are all of the posts he hasn't provided the appropriate proof for:

I took the gamble although IPO's are mostly scams if this is the real deal I don’t wanna miss out.

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

You did the equivalent of sending your BTC to a 0% Satoshi Dice address.

They're banking on the fact that you'll be fine accepting with them accepting escrow in the later rounds because they plan to run away with those funds.

There is no rational reason for not accepting escrow for all of the investment rounds.

P.S. Din is going to bold all of the fucks in this post in a measly attempt to show how we're behaving irrationally, only when the skeptics are the most rational.

Keep giving him free money you sheep.

Also, Din, answer my questions you dim witted piece of shit

Please
read next time, and stop littering the thread:

PROVIDE THE FUCKING PROOF THAT I ASKED FOR EARLIER IN THE THREAD. DO YOU WNAT ME TO BOTHER YOU AGAIN WITH MORE BLATANT FACTS THAT YOU ARE INDEED A FUCKING SCAMMER?

Everyone, an excerpt from the website concerning escrow:

Quote
Note:

Regarding Escrow payments, we're not responsible for the fees and risks associated with using an Escrow service. While Escrows are allowed, the funds need to be in before the end of whatever stage you have invested in. Unfortunately, it has to be done this way due to overhead. Luckily for you, we'll be releasing a demo video of our AIO wallet in a fully functioning state in a couple of days. In order to protect the market, the IPO distribution will be fully realized 30 days after launch. Every day after launch you will receive 3.33% of your respective IPO earnings.

In other words; Even if you escrow, the escrow must be turned over to them in blind faith before they will prove they have produced anything.

The whole point of escrow is to mitigate risk.
This is not mitigating risk, it is just organizing that risk into a neat little package for them.

Also, regarding pictures of wallet:

Escrow:

Stop fucking posting the video without addressing my concerns, it's not proof.

Why the fuck is there escrow if nothing is being delivered once someone releases their funds.

Oh right, because you are a manipulative son of a bitch and I can see straight through your mirage of pseudo promises.

...

I'm also allowed to conject whatever the fuck I want to. You have no definitive proof that this is even a functional client.

This is also free fucking forum, I can be as professional or unprofessional as I want.

You should be more concerned with the lack of evidence that you are providing and the fact that most of my concerns haven't been addressed, but put aside later because the "developers" are sleeping leaving the poor clueless marketing dude to shill a fucking non-existent coin. That's unprofessionalism.

Fuck... you got me.

Exocoin has had a very successful IPO even with a sketchy image and delayed information releases.
I don't give a rat's ass about what Exocoin had or didn't have.

I'm talking about you guys.

This IPO will end up being successful... for you guys.

A few days of effort for a couple dozen BTC, I'd even bite.

Heavycoin had code samples, videos showing working wallets, a very clever IPO distribution process (involving generating private keys), and very competent developers who were able to defend their hashing algorithm using cryptographic explanations.

All you guys have shown is that you can code a basic graphical client that talks to another computer, this is high school level computer science here.

Again, I want to know how encrypted messages are going to work.

Thank you for your lengthy and informative post. The information regarding Escrows can be found here:
http://edgecoin.info/invest.html

Regarding the several requests you have made we'll be working towards fulfilling the majority of them.

And you mentioned a demo? Not sure if you've taken a look at this one.
http://a.pomf.se/kxazdl.mp4

Yeah, I'm talking about that video. Nice try. You did exactly what I've described.

I'd like to know how encrypted transaction messages are going to be implemented. I expect a prompt response, otherwise... try harder.

Encrypted transaction messages are still in a developmental phase. Yes, it would likely follow the coin-mixing style of Fedoracoin for example. Encrypted transaction messages were never something promised, but these messages will be attached to typical transactions (mixed or not).

Almost forgot to answer, yes this project will be open-sourced and free to duplicate once launch time comes around

I'm not qualified to elaborate on the topic as I'm just one of the graphic designers and the main thread moderator.

Then get your fucking developer on here before this crumbles to the ground.

Also, if it's in the development phase, how were you able to send a transaction with a message and be able to receive it on another computer?

You're so full of shit. Give up.

I've read through all of your posts.

I have come to the conclusion that this is a neatly organized scam.

Anyone with mediocre programming knowledge could:

  • Create a demo GUI in Visual Studio, Node-Webkit, Qt, you get the idea.
  • Make a small interactive socket server to send the details of the "transactions", or just use a service like pusher.com.
  • Use an HTML template for a quick website.

I mean, fuck I'm even tempted to pull the same thing as well, only a lot more complicated, more thought out.

For Christ's sake they're using a fucking GMail account for IPO investments. You couldn't even set up a Google Apps or Live mail server, seriously? All it takes is an MX record.

And don't try to pull the whole, we wanted to get this out as fast as possible card. If you're hunting down for sane investors, then you take your time to make sure everything is professional.

Until I see a functional demo, including an RPC interface or the console, or some screenshots of the GUI code I'm calling this a scam. I hope to god that you are open-sourcing this, because otherwise you would be so full of shit any noob coming here wouldn't believe you.

I see no mention of escrow. If you were serious about this coin release you'd have escrow details ready to go, meaning a trusted member of the community's word that he approves.

I want to see you download, MD5 verify the checksum of a known miner software, compile, run GUIMiner, CGMiner, or any of the equivalents and then start mining since the difficulty must be low and I must see unconfirmed coinbase transactions show up in your wallet.

Until then:

491G Shocked, what happen?

yup just told my buddy to kill this scam dead, these coins will be dumped on your asses as soon as it makes exchange...

goodbye scam coin.

Your "buddy", yeah... too bad he probably only mined about 20k. Can't wait for him to fill my buy order at 1 satoshi. It'll make me very happy.

Yeah i like to give you guys extra publicity.... don't worry Smiley

This scam will not be missed out on... i will highlight it for a while. Like all scams they deserve their 5 mins of fame shame.

Both wallets available for all platforms and a DNSSeed node doesn't scream scam to me. Sounds like a reasonable developer who, even if he decided to use an obscure PoW algorithm, still deserves to mine a few coins at launch. Bounties don't come out of thin air, bro.

who said the dev can not code?  he can sure scam though.

it is very simple

you can not have ninja launches - because there is NOTHING to stop the devs instamining 1000's of blocks with no competition from other miners.

This is a scam have no doubt, and planned scam.

Do you think for the average 1-2 gpu miner it is more profitable a launch with 1 week pre ann, kgw from start so dff being 4 after 10 minutes of launch?

Obviously Pre-Ann are overrated. Even if you assume that he did mine ALL of the 6 million to be mined before KGW, then the "premine" would be .8%, much fairer than most coins. But he didn't mine all of them, I'd say he only mined a few thousand.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hiroscam - X11 Next Gen Crypto Currency - Launching now while u sleep lol on: March 15, 2014, 12:52:42 PM
Hirocoin........... another scam coin here is why....

1. no announcement

2. picked terrible time for release whilst most of US and EUROPE are sleeping

3. no pools at launch.

4. now pretending to want to buy loads for btc.... when he ages to mine at  0.00000000000003 diff.  He could have mined 1000's of block and now pretending to want to buy some.

This is a scam do not take part in this. We need to encourage fair releases.

Are you not tired of getting scammed yet?

If you are reading this and thinking fuck i managed to mine a 100 blocks or more on easy diff and now i want cryptohunter to shut the fuck up...... think about it.... the dev has 100x what you have and you will just be used to promote his scam because you have a few crumbs.....

SAY NO TO SCAM RELEASES. DO NOT MINE OR BUY THESE SCAMMERS COINS.

Nothing different than a premine, assuming that's what happened. I didn't get to mine a single block, but I still ain't mad.

Also, how can releasing a coin be a scam? Your dildo is rammed too far up your ass to think rationally.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Hirocoin - X11 Next Gen Crypto Currency - Launch Now - Start Mining on: March 15, 2014, 12:42:14 PM
HiroS, you need to update your difficulty adjustment algorithm to the Darkcoin fixed KGW algo. There are a lot of exploits that can be performed on KGW that cannot be on the Darkcoin fork.
