I welcome your input. Greececoin will make contact with yanis varoufakis, i think he is very genuine and open to alot of new ideas and possibilities. |

Ok the wallet is synced with 8 active connections which is better, so again thank you to the members who are contributing to the network, as it gets bigger it will become more stable.
Im still waiting for Pool Operators but no contact back at this moment.

Can Greececoin be mined from the wallet?
It is Scrypt but because the difficulty is so low you can mine it from your wallet but as soon as someone puts a good gpu on it the difficulty is then way to high. Keep your eye on the diff and you might get some blocks. |

All coins which start from scratch have 0 value because usually are not traded on any exchange so we can't know what people are willing to pay for a coin. And GRCE is now like new reborn coin starting its new life. So the priorities now should be as follows: 1) Establish seed node 2) Get some miners and get added to some pool so that network starts working normally again. Pool can serve also as seed node if we agree with pool owner. 3) Get on some exchange, I would start with C-Cex. 4) Let's activate the website, there was already some in the past, so let's start it up after updating its content 5) Then let's play pump and dump games OR let's set some higher objectives like new air drop for greek citizens.  But first let's see on exchange what the value of this coin could be. But seriously: dev should present his ambitions because I'm not sure why he decided to open pandora's box and restart this coin. It's a mystery for me and I like mysterious coins.  (see MysteryCoin haha) Dev, are you going to fulfill what is written or ANN page or was it all fulfilled already? Because if not, then ANN page needs to be revised and updated in first place. It must be obvious that without any clear roadmap no pool owner will waste their resources just because you returned back after a half year without saying to community why. I do agree but i will not update the ANN at this moment because i am leaving the 'Air Drop' as an example to what can be done to people who don't know. It is like the start off a new coin but just because i hold the premine coins it doesn't mean i can pull everything out of my hat all at once and have a successful coin trading on multiple platforms and miners filling up pools etc. Things take time and it would be good if more people could join and help with the project even if is just sending a pm to a pool operator. I do thank you for the work some individuals have contributed so far. First lets get a pool and block explorer. The price of the bounty is irrelevant at this moment, a pool operator is going to have to be kind to open a pool so lets find one. |

GreeceCoin: can you contact this maxminers pool, it seems they are still running grc domain but the pool just can't connect to wallet. probably they need to resynchronize wallet but first we will need seed node because I don't want to keep my laptop running nonstop https://grc.maxminers.net/index.php?page=statistics&action=poolThanks for this, i have contacted them. Anybody who would like to mine this coin, you have great opportunity now. I was able to keep the coin running since the morning and I'm finding all blocks which is not good because when I turn off my PC, all coins will be lost as no other node will synchronize the blockchain with me. We desperately need seed nodes to be running 24/7 at least for the beginning. It seems that with constant mining speed (in my case cca 200Kh/s) the KGW has slowly lowered difficulty to cca 0.00294309 now and it runs very smooth now. So if you want to take piece of pie, I advice you to lower hashrate to somewhat 100-500 kh/s so that the difficulty doesn't spike to heaven and the network gets stuck again. I think this was the main problem yesterday that the few of us were too greedy and tried to take all blocks with as high hashrate as possible and after not finding any blocks (because network got stuck) everybody left away. But I returned. I was initially running with 2x280 on cca 1400Kh/s and temperature was over 95 degrees nonstop. Now I run only on 1 card 200kh/s with default sgminer setting and temperature cca 65 degrees. Here are my addnodes so please update your conf file first: addnode=151.224.88.7 addnode=213.122.107.7 addnode=109.73.173.39 addnode=80.178.27.83 addnode=94.22.41.45 addnode=188.167.248.231 You are right thanks for this, because the new network is so small it's stopping and starting. If we can keep our wallets open for as long as possible and provide new addnodes then this will help. When this gets more popular it will not be an issue. |

OK thanks. I think there are only few people mining and some don't keep their PC online 24/4 (like me). So it's very unstable to rely only on individual wallets being online. This is my node: addnode=188.167.248.231
Thanks for the node I have added it, I'm working on wallet now. Good I have connected now as well, probably to your wallet. Anyway it's not synchronizing, still stuck on block 50065. Any idea what's the issue? Yeh it was the same yesterday so I did a bit of solo mining in the wallet 'setgenerate true' to mine some new blocks then it was fully synced. What has happened is that no new blocks have been mined since block 50056 so the wallet is showing 12 hours behind, as soon as a new block is mined it will catch up and say fully synced. Everyone keep your wallets open. |
