Hi, I have a A1246 87TH and trying to use this command for the static fan setting and it just sits on the "running command" progress bar. I also tried the Aging tab and prior, the machine ran at 75TH on normal mode, and 88TH. Now it is showing 88TH in normal mode. Thoughts?

Did you include the bold tag? Remove it just like this below

Code:
[{"command":"ascset","parameter":"0,fan-spd,90"}]

About 88th in normal mode how did you know if it's running at normal mode?  Usually, you can check it on API logs under WORKMODE if it's 0(normal) or 1(performance).

And if you choose a normal mode on the pool configuration it doesn't mean it will run in normal mode it will still automatically run at performance mode if your temp is running at a cooler temp.

Is there a way to make this permanent?

Correct it was the bold brackets stuff that I didn't take out. Normal mode was observed from the configure screen showing normal selected and Log workmode=0, it is stable at 76TH now in normal at 59c temps fan at 65%.

Thank you for your help

Update, Got the correct Fan command line and it works. Machine now running at 75TH in Normal mode, it Ramps down from 90TH at the start or when changing the fan speed on the command. This is the behavior after clicking Aging on FSM one time.

can you send the command for autotuning of chips, my one chip is exceeding 120c mark and voltage is around 338, although miner is working good at 82th stable.

can you share the command line please,
thanks , looking forward for your reply

Try to refresh the miner's ASIC chips through the FMS tool you can download it from this link below

And then look for the aging tab and select any hashboard with high ASIC chip temp.

If it still overheating manually set the fan speed to 100% to test if it can help to cool down those chips

To set the fan speed you must have the FMS tool and then go to diagnostic and put this command below

Code:
[b][{"command":"ascset","parameter":"0,fan-spd,90"}] [/b]

Fan-spd,90 it's a fan speed with 90% you can replace it with 80% or 100% to try if it fixes the issue.

On an antminer pw field, would that be mindiff=442 ?
Ckpool ignores anything in the password field. It only works with cgminer that supports the suggest-diff option directly. There's no need to adjust diff manually anyway, the pool will slowly choose what's best for you.

Thank you for the info.

Sledge0001 - I see in your pic your running 4.12?  Is that just for the stick miners or can you run it on R606 and if so where did you get it?

Thanks and Congrats!

Appreciate it and I'm incredibly blessed not to mention lucky as hell. I've sent you a link via a PM for what I believe is the link to Kano's newest version.

How was it able to submit such high WU , worker utility? Was there a diff setting used? Looks great.

Difficulty adjusts from the pool side to keep your miner submitting shares based on your hashpower. My rig was set at Kano's recommended difficultly of 442.

Apologies if there is any misinformation feel free to correct me.

What's the hash power on your antminer?

I have two S19 110TH machines

How are you monitoring your rigs on the pool?

How are we able to set diff parameters in the PW field? Do we need to use the default PW of 123 as well?

15  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Help S9 firmware flash issue, works, but stalls when pool changed on: May 10, 2021, 06:01:06 AM
Update fixed. Both stratum I was using were dead, went to another pool host and it worked bit only after 20 min on the stock antpools. Figured this out by repeating test.
16  Bitcoin / Mining support / Help S9 firmware flash issue, works, but stalls when pool changed on: May 09, 2021, 03:54:53 AM
Today for no known reason my S9 wouldn't spool up after 45 min it wouldn't load and start hashing when I plugged it in today. It has been working fine for a month. It was new never used sealed in box. I reflashed firmware with keep settings to 2017 firmware. Same after 45 min. I did sd card t9+ recovery, flashed 2017 firmware unchecked keep settings and it spools up In the usual 5 minutes but to the stock antpool addresses.
When I change the pool addresses it goes back to hanging for 45+min. When I reflash and uncheck keep settings it fires right up. Change pools and hangs.
I let it run for 20min on the stock pools after reflashing and tried a completely differnt pool and same.

Any ideas?
17  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Need 2017 S9 Firmware with SSH access on: April 10, 2021, 02:21:51 AM
Thanks guys. Appreciate the help. Yeah, this S9 was brand new sealed, just plugged it in this week and getting higher than expected stats I've been mining with many L3's for a while. Just wasn't used to seeing that many discarded shares. So far today, 11 hours on, 2575 accepted and 19530 discarded with a 4.3 utility and 115HW.
I understand the machine working on stuff that is already been solved/old news is discarded. Didn't know what to expect.

Thanks again.
18  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Need 2017 S9 Firmware with SSH access on: April 10, 2021, 01:10:55 AM
All the 2017 firmware options say- * Remove: post mac and stop mining interface. Does that mean removed SSH access?
19  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Need 2017 S9 Firmware with SSH access on: April 10, 2021, 01:08:54 AM
Ok I will give it a try. I was not sure if bitmain still had the 2017 firmware available and if they did if it removed the SSH port from what they have available, even if it says 2017.
When I ran through this with my L3's they didnt have 2017 only 2019 and that had no SSH access. Thanks for your help.
20  Bitcoin / Mining support / Need 2017 S9 Firmware with SSH access on: April 09, 2021, 08:18:12 PM
Hi I have an S9 that has the following firmware on it.   Linux 3.14.0-xilinx-ge8a2f71-dirty #82 SMP PREEMPT Tue May 16 19:49:53 CST 2017
This is a 13.5TH unit.
I would like to reflash the unit with the same firmware to see if it corrects a discarded share issue. Getting about 86% of shares discarded, with no latency/router/connection issues. 5 hours on and 1062 accepted and 7909 discarded.
Wanting to avoid loosing SSH access and bricking the machine as I already went through this with my L3's. I use SSH on mine. There are a lot of download links just want the correct one.

One that I have is Antminer-S9-all-201711171757-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar but not sure if that is the correct one to use.

Thank you.
