from 1200h/s to 1400h/s

fuck it, time to sell my amd rigs.

but it isn't profitable right? 2-3 monero a day?

My profit calc says otherwise Cheesy

Mining using crytonight miner is very unstable. The hashrate shown on miner and pool is very different. Most of the time pool hashrate could be reduce by 50% of what is shown on miner. I think crytonight miner submitting of shares to pool need improvement because pool don't receive share often which cause miner hashrate shown on pool to cut down majority of the time. The only time pool showing correct hashrate as miner is when initial connection to pool. After which hashrate start to decay and reduce. Hashrate shown on miner is just a guide line, most importance is how much hash the pool receive because that is how much they going to pay you. So what u see on profit cal need to be reduce by 30-40% due to unstable hashrate.

meh, it's pretty much accurate for me, still within ~5-10%, so no complaints there.

I think that might depend on pool/difficulty, thats why you have that issue or maybe you just need more ram. not sure.

for XMR , can i mine directly payout to exchange address ?

No, don't even think about trying it.  Will not work.

Exchanges need a both a base address and a transaction address (ID address).

Download the wallet and create and ID for mining.

Use this while the deamon catches up which will take a long time as it's over 1 GB block train.
Send ALL transactions from pools to your local wallet and then transfer to exchange.

If anyone is super stuck I can generate a wallet address for you to get started mining on XMR or QCN.
I'll transfer this info to you so you can take possession of coins but you should then generate a new wallet address as soon as you have caught up on the block chain.

Let me know if I can assist any of you.  It's not hard (but different) then any other alt coins.

Carlo

PS I'm as trustworthy as I claim. Smiley

But kicking aside let me know if I can help any of you out getting started with CryptoNight.  It's different for sure but not hard.

You just want his coins  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Yea, because I'm the stupidest scammer on the plannet and will use my real credential to "scam" with. Smiley

But seriously, I would agree this in general isn't a good idea.  But it can take a long time to sync up with the block chain.

I also figure if I offer to help, I've got enough "credentials" around here for people to know I'm not a scammer and really only offering to help and i'm not going to steal a few XMR worth of coins.

But yea, in truth there are only a few people on this forum I would trust with any large amount of coins if truth be told.

Chris, Bombadil, djm34, cryptomines, zelante, dma etc. (I'm sure there are a few more)

please nobody release a GPU miner for cryptonite. Leave us alone with a coin that is profitable on CPU. I really mean this. Let us utilize every processor in a PC rather than choosing which coin to mine on GPU while CPU sits idle.

the same was said when the first gpu miner for btc was released, but nobody care

Bitcoin was only coin that was good back then but now we have choice so we must choose well. Honestly there are 1000 shitcoin for GPU and people r going mad deciding which one to mine. I guess we need some really great innovation in CPU only algo, not releasing the GPU miner when it can be made is not going to solve the problem. I hope someone will come up with something that will remain CPU only for years before it is cracked for GPU.

It doesnt matter, as long as its asic proof its fine( for now Cheesy)...people can always by a couple of pc's or use cpu cloud so...

There's already an AMD/ati miner.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XDN] duckNote [ANN]. CryptoNote based. Anonymous and CPU only. on: June 24, 2014, 04:27:13 AM
I am not sure but either there is an issue with this coin or there two pools are extremely sketchy:
1. Extremepool
Pending Balance: 0.00000000 XDN
 Total Paid: 12.13879839 XDN
Last Share Submitted: a day ago
 Hash Rate: 0 H/sec
 Total Hashes Submitted: 3577600

No payout since 24hrs +

2. Hashharder
Last Share Submitted: a day ago
 Hash Rate: 0 H/sec
 Total Hashes Submitted: 508669000
 Total Paid: 0.00000000 DUCK

No payout since 24+ hrs

Because no block was found yet in that pool lol.

The blockchain is proof.

as explained its not...
its like a screenhot that can be photoshoped

Really, make a coin yourself, come back to me, I'll check the code. Then you try and fake the blockchain. You're just making up lies now my friend..

Please do the above, make a coin yourself, and try to fake the blockchain, lordoliver. I know you're not going to bother, since it's impossible....But it'd be funny to see you try.

I don't want to do that. Because it costs a lot of effort. so why should i do it?
But you still didn't explain, why it is not possible.

Quote
just take maybe 2 or 3 Months and rent a bunch of Computers. You set the times of all computers 1 1/2 years earlier and start a changing algorithm that smoothy fakes longer time frames. voilą...

Why can't you change the system time while the demon is running? Isn't the demon using it? And even if not a good programmer can surely change that in his version...

As I said again earlier, There's no point in trying to make up bullshit excuses. The point is, the bytecoin's blockchain says the first coin was mined in 2012, and over 80% of it's coin supply have been mined by only a few addresses. You cannot deny that. It also wouldn't make any sense for them to "try and change" the blockchain date to 2 years earlier....Think before you type.
