coupon needed. 0.1 BTC tips. PM me.

We need a coupon trading tool!  It's hard to keep up with who has one and who needs one.

If anyone has one, I'll do .11BTC, I'd really appreciate it!!  I'm also innoman on bitmain, just PM me your BTC address.
3  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The last Batch of AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner, $1850 per unit, Shipping on June 26th on: June 26, 2014, 06:22:19 AM
If anyone has a coupon they are willing to part with for a fair "donation", let me know.  Thanks!  (Just let me know what you think is fair and I'll take it as long as I agree!).  I can order today so it just needs to be valid for the rest of the day.
4  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner (1w/GH/s) on: April 29, 2014, 03:47:20 AM
please tell me how to post a screen shot i want to share something. i tried the prnt screen and paste but nothing happend

With Win7/8 (maybe XP?), use the snipping tool that is built in.  Just search for snip and it should be the first thing. It's REALLY easy and you can select exactly what you want to screenshot.

On a Mac,  Command + Shift + 4 to select a specific region-saves to desktop.

I'm looking to cash out a small amount of BTC for $70 Skrill or PayPal
I'm offering to do .12 BTC for either payment method

Just use coinbase...  it's easy and much safer.
6  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: April 28, 2014, 10:33:39 PM
Got my S1 coupon this morning after sending an email last night.

Mine showed up this morning, BTC0.05 off of 2 (ordered 3/28 and 4/9).  I got 2xS1's for BTC1.108.  Now I just need to find a reasonably priced PSU that can support them...  Energy is really cheap for me right now so it doesn't have to be really efficient (less than 6c/kWh for wind).
7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: April 28, 2014, 04:44:39 AM
I just used the email on their website Bitmain Tech (info@bitmaintech.com).

I sent an email to that address days ago and got no response.  Hopefully they will come through soon!  I'm definitely up for buying a couple more S1's if they do send a coupon (maybe if they don't, though I am a little frustrated with some S2 issues), what are they providing?
8  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: April 26, 2014, 04:51:54 AM
I am also wondering how far back they will go for the coupons.  I purchased on 3/26 and 4/8.

You should be able to re-enable your email now by re-checking the boxes if you've unsubscribed via email.

Everything is working now, thanks!

Shenzhen, China    04/15/2014    5:12 A.M.   A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible. / Forwarded to the facility in the destination city.

This happened with the S1 I purchased last week, but in Alaska.  I was pretty mad because it was supposed to be delivered Friday and they changed it to Monday.  But it ended up getting delivered early Saturday morning.

Has anyone else had issues with the MicroSD card corrupting after a power cycle?

Yes, and it took about 8 hours to figure out and fix (had to get a MicroSD card and writer) it.  I am really disappointed in this miner so far.  I lost a couple days due to other issues in the beginning and the good part of a day with this crap... They should have done a little more QA before they shipped it!!!  My S1's are running just fine.  I can tolerate a lot and I get this thing is new but the extent of the issues people are experiencing goes far beyond reasonable/acceptable.
11  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAW Miners- $499.95 Gridseed Blades for existing customers! on: April 14, 2014, 07:51:22 PM
Hi, we answered your question on the previous page Smiley

Somehow I must be missing it, I'm just not finding anything except where others are posting about it--but no real info.  I'll have to re-read the whole thread, I guess.
12  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAW Miners- $499.95 Gridseed Blades for existing customers! on: April 14, 2014, 06:02:19 PM
Hi, we can ship it to you anytime you wish, just let us know and it will be sent.
The actual blade you purchase will be the one that's sent. We used outsourced hashing power to move all our existing customers to the blades Smiley

Or just totally skip over my questions/concerns... that's cool too.  Wink  I'm really curious about the 1TH miner...
13  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAW Miners- $499.95 Gridseed Blades for existing customers! on: April 14, 2014, 06:01:40 AM
I'm not finding much on here about the 1TH GAW Miners...  I'm looking for information on how easily/effectively they overclock, etc...  Also, to be sure they are real!  Wink  Is there any info?  Has anyone purchased these?

I wouldn't be upset if I found a promo code either Smiley  haha.  jk jk, sort of.
14  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [700 TH] EMC: No Fee DGM. Anonymous PPS. US & EU servers. on: April 14, 2014, 05:36:18 AM
There should be a way to re-enable them, if it's not working, let me look into why... I'll get it fixed.

Awesome, username is the same as here.
15  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [700 TH] EMC: No Fee DGM. Anonymous PPS. US & EU servers. on: April 13, 2014, 03:27:36 AM
Is there any way to re-enable the block completion emails if you accidentally click the unsubscribe button in the email?  I've tried disabling/enabling under settings but it didn't fix it.  (Sorry for the double post, I posted this in the BFL EMC forum but that one seems to be pretty dead as of late.

Also, switching from DGM to PPS, or vice versa, doesn't have any sort of negative effect on credit for shares submitted, does it?  I noticed it resets to 0 shares--I figured that's probably just on the front end.

The overall hashrate jumped pretty substantially over night!!  Between like 70-100TH!!  crazy.  I guess some sort of hosted mining center must have come online?
16  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner (1w/GH/s) on: April 13, 2014, 03:16:15 AM

I have to say innoman is not a member of my family. LOL

We are all doing our best, thanks for your comments

Juan

Haha, agreed--I am not.  Just a satisfied customer right now.  Issues always come up with this sort of thing, it's just the nature of the business.  It's how they are dealt with.  I got the wrong tracking number, emailed and got the right one right away.  I got a problematic device and I'm getting support.  I won't lie, I was a little concerned with my first S1 because communication was slow/limited but I got it in a reasonable amount of time even though I didn't get a tracking number right away.  Stuff happens.
17  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner (1w/GH/s) on: April 13, 2014, 03:08:26 AM
Thanks buddy I will add some light and try again in the AM
I had a working unit before I attempted a new power supply....
But it didnt always come up and has on power restart.  A couple restarts it would.....so I guessed a PSU issue.
Went larger 1200 Thermaltake....and noticed the ribbon cable had nicks....was not sure that could cause intermitent issue or not.
I hate to box the whole think up and send it back....I mean none of us are stupid....just challenged.....lmao
I will reach out to Juan this time I was smart and bought through US dist just in case

Hopefully Juan can get you squared away--he's definitely been trying to work things out for me.  I have it working alright, for now.  I am familiar with your issue, did you update to the latest firmware?  I would suggest trying the original power supply with the updated firmware () and letting it run.  If it fails (stops mining and starts beeping), go to miner settings in the WebUI and click Save&Apply in the bottom right.  Hopefully it will run from there but if not, try clicking Save&Apply again.  Don't use reboot or try power cycling, that doesn't seem to be as effective.

With any luck, it will go until the next power cycle.  Which PSU are you trying to use, btw?  I want to look at the specs and see how they compare to the original.  I noticed a lot of 1300w PSU's are barely, if any, more capable than the one they shipped (based on advertised numbers, of course).
18  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner (1w/GH/s) on: April 13, 2014, 02:31:00 AM
Seriously?  Two days late and you're calling him crooked?  There isn't an industry that I know of where things don't turn up late, even from huge multi-national corporations.  I've never considered them crooks and liars for a missed delivery, (plenty of other reasons, but not that).

You're obviously from a different planet than I am.

This thread is getting really difficult to follow...  What is going on and on about Bitmain shipping a little late going to fix?  Your box got shipped late, you're really mad, you think Bitmain is really crooked, the world is coming to an end because no other vendor on the planet ever ships late.... We got it!  Bitmain isn't Amazon (about the only company I deal with who always seems to meet their ship/delivery dates, almost) and it sucks you lost a couple of days--maybe they'll hook you up with a coupon or something later.  MOVE ON!  What's done is done. We feel your pain, we get your frustration but OMG INBD!!! :-) Maybe we can start a totally separate thread for shipping frustration regarding the S2?

On a more important note, has anyone accomplished any acceptable overclocking?  As in, better than 25-30GH/s over stock?  I'm currently getting right at 1TH/s and not much over, I think some are getting closer to 1060GH/s stock?  I think a steady 150-200GH/s would be necessary to justify an upgraded PSU.

I'm also curious on how Bitmain has handled the totally un-workable units?  Like the ones that arrived damaged beyond customer repair.  As of now 112bit (Juan G.) is working on getting an issue with mine resolved (potential PSU issue) and so far, Bitmain seems to want me to send mine in for troubleshooting and repair--they've suggested compensating me for the days of lost mining in BTC but I don't know how much.

Should it run without the display?

I've read here that several have been able to mine without issue with no display.  Have you been able to access the WebUI at all?  I suggest removing all cards/blades and cleaning the connectors (one of mine had a bunch of thermal paste) really well and then reseating all of them.
19  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner (1w/GH/s) on: April 11, 2014, 07:36:07 PM
These server PSU's are very loud so take that into consideration depending on where you will be running your miner.

The S2 is so loud that I can't imagine the server PSU having too much of an effect.  I wish I'd gotten the S2 in late December, it would have done an awesome job keeping my garage at a good temp!

Become a NewEgg premier member.  For $50 a year, free 3-day shipping, discounts on 2 and 1 day shipping, and free return shipping.  I've been a member since it became available about 2 months ago, and I've already recouped the cost on shipping. Smiley

I did the shoprunner thing Newegg was pushing before.  If you cancel during the trial, they offer you a chance to extend it for 3 months (totally free) which automatically turns into a year if you use the service 3 times in that 90 day period.  On top of that, shoprunner will give you a full free year if you have an AMEX card.  I've been getting it for free for a while and still have about a year left of free, I think.

Haven't heard anything yet.. no reply's on emails either.
Might be delayed some what

For all of you guys concerned about tracking numbers, sign up for myUPS, it's free and you'll usually get notification days before delivery.  You can also release shipment so you don't have to be there to sign if you are comfortable that it will be safe.
