It seems that 66-70% of wMemo members have missed out, which seems hardly fair if 33% can decide for the rest, as simple as every 2 years rebrand as 3.0,4.0,5.0,6.0.

I had originally invested about $100,000 of which overtime reduced to about $50,000 worth into Wonderland time, and investments of being long-term, had left it in there.
To check on and off once in a while. Which like any stock is not unreasonable to check in once in every while, like once every 3-6 months or so.
But I am kind of shocked to find out, that it randomly changed to volta.club and that all users that hasn't migrated lost out.
Sure I was away for a bit, but does that justify robbing an investor that had originally invested $100,000?

If not the purpose of forgetting it in hopes of it going up, rather then watching it all the time and panic selling. Anyways I have 1.456716 WMEMO, 1.456716 *330= 480.71628 * (Current price) = $54,000 If it was swapped accordingly. A robbery of a long-term investor Its like one buying $10,000 out of a $1M company. And then 6 months later that company changes their name, and since you missed out on our changes, you now have $0 on our company 2 $1M. And the $ is gone. If that's not robbery, then I don't know what is robbery. |

Hi, I might be intruding here but is there a chance to know whether there has been an update on anonymouscoward case? I first saw his post at the start of this month but he said that the pending withdrawal started at the end of January and according to his post on February 19, his withdrawal is still pending. I have sent a message to anonymouscoward on the site, and asked to open a support ticket, as an large amount, I am asking for extra confirmation, as in replying with your addresses in the support ticket along with the withdrawal made, to be sure it isn't one of those temporary addresses, and/or exchange. I have yet to receive a response, but will process them as soon as possible, when I get the reply. |

This is a good question... TBH, well I probably shouldn't say this, but I've never understood how 90% of signature campaigns are at all profitable for the project running the campaign. This particular campaign is paying for up to 60 posts per week -- that's 10 posts per day 6 days a week, not considering that at least some of the participants have alt accounts enrolled in the campaign. It adds up to several hundred shitposts per week. This renders the advertisement little more than a spam blast. Back to the coin itself: its a proof of stake coin with 49.74% of all coins held by a single address. IMO you'd have to be crazy to buy this knowing that a single entity can earn half the staking rewards and dump the coin to zero any time they see fit. Yes ultimately a risk and an issue with starting a coin from POS. There are notable attacks such as Sybil attacks, and so on. If a single address gets around 100-200M, and the top stops staking, within a couple years they achieve >1B vis-a-vis governance issues. And yes I wouldn't invest into any coin where one holds such an large amount. I have held 3-6 million in other funds via on bitvest, so it ultimately comes down to will the founder dump the coin or not? If it goes to $10M, $100M? I will try to airdrop it slowly over time and spread it out, this should overtime improve the position, and reduce the problems in regards to this. |

Well, I wouldn't say "he never will be" interested or involved in such a project. I'm over 1,000% sure he will never mention this project, never touch it, never even sneeze in its general direction. It's basically ripping off another coin named PIVX. They didn't properly fork it in GitHub, they just cloned it, changed a few things, and said its a new coin. Even their website - which the developers are too lazy to finish - largely plagiarizes PIVX documentation: He's not talking about that. He's talking about why the signup feature doesn't work, and I presume why the "Download Wallet" button does work; nor does the Contact Us link, or the Subscribe button... Also, if you manage to get to eloncoin.org/download, the Release Notes, Source Code and Wallet Guides buttons don't work. The "Why Eloncoin" menu item brings you to a quote by Elon that has nothing to do with why people should buy Eloncoin. Not to mention the entire project seems to be an unattributed clone of PIVX with a few minor alterations.   I have tagged & flagged promoters of such irresponsibly stupid projects based on stuff like this in the past. To even pretend Elon may someday be interested in it is completely dishonest marketing.  The site has been recoded from scratch for 10x speed up, so yes many things are not working, the functionality of everything should be fixed with the proper download links and so on, within a week or so. Also many coins have been cloned/forked. But yes I'll probably rewrite the documentation up.
