Stick to the original plan. It adds more credibility. Consistency is good.

@sporket

What are the latest on your US extradition? Did you post any updates on your blog?

Or simply that they did not have yet authorization to function as a bank? Did they? Usually one needs such a thing, a posh store and "opening" party is not enough.  Operating a bank without authorization would probably have put him and his staff in jail right away.

It seems not, remember this is a digital currency, not currently regulated or within a regulatory framework in Cyprus - something Danny was desperately seeking. So it would have been banking in a grey-area and completely possible. That was the whole aim of the company afterall and they hadn't been shut down or told they would be as far as we know.

Antonis Polemitis:

@georgiemark @seotiras Cypriot employees kept it from being worse.  He wanted to launch retail, they knew platform not ready so prevented it

https://twitter.com/polemitis/status/453534367579914240

It was ultimately Danny's call. Software platform needed bit more work. It was probably still beta and required more work.

Cyprus university used Bitpay eventually but Bitpay had plenty of time to grow and mature.

I'd be out living the high life if I were you, trying to enjoy freedom. Wasting precious time trolling forums isn't the best use of your time at this point.

Pretty spot on I'd say.

Then again, you also "invested" in NeoBee Cheesy

Let's wait and see who gets the last laugh, shall we?

Popescu's best buddy the Frenchman pankkake is also in this deep. He has taken money from MP to carryout attacks on all things not MPEx. Pankkake knows enough to put MP behind bars for blackmail, extortion, commercial attacks. If the FBI put pressure on pankkake he will talk.
For his commercial attacks alone Popescu could be fined up to 30% of his annual turnover/sales under EU law. That alone would bankrupt him and his business. He can also face prison (in some EU states) for infringing EU competition laws.

I wonder how far they are into this operation. I'd say they're at least half way there.

There are jurisdictional issues involved here. Contrary to the belief of many in this forum USA law doesn't apply in the rest of the world. The SEC like to claim that they have jurisdiction in other countries where services are sold to USA citizens however there are a lot of steps involved in any extradition process some of which will require a reasonable case to be put forward and that the person will get a fair trial.

I am not a lawyer but have dealt with data protection on and off for several years.

Typically in a case like this when you are sent a letter, they already have you. I'll refrain from speculating further, I wouldn't want to spoil anything.

Pretty spot on I'd say.

You know what they say... "if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail".

As I've said earlier price started at 0.0001 when stock got re-listed and moved up to triple the value even before this wall.
8  Economy / Securities / Re: Neo & Bee talk (spam free thread) on: April 07, 2014, 12:26:55 AM

No, you don't get it.

What just happened was obvious, I've seen it hundreds of times, your just trying to manipulate it to fill your own agenda.

I'm ending this, it's clear we are not going to agree.

If anyone comes out and buys half a million shares over the next day or two then ill know you we're right. But that's not going to happen.

They were trying to make a quick profit, and it worked initially, until the market stopped responding, and they got hit.

If you'd ever tried to manipulate a market before you would understand.

Let me give you an example.

Say I want to buy Neobee shares, ok? I want them at cheapest price possible. Key is to buy without driving up the price.

If there are big desperate sellers out there I want to give them the chance to sell at a low price their whole amount, thus placing a big order makes sense and I won't drive up the price like crazy. Seller doesn't know I'm ready to bid up to say 0.0009 so he'd be happy to sell me at 0.0003 a big chunk.

On the other hand, if I keep the sell wall for too long, I'll drive up the price in no time. Of course if I leave wall out for too long, others will get ideas that something's going on and will try to front run me, so makes sense to remove the wall for frenzy to go away to give chance again to buy low.

This was an interesting test that showed to amazement of some there are no huge sellers out there. What I would do I were that buyer, I'd just put smaller buy orders every now and then to catch the smaller fish. Of course takes patience and can be boring. Big guys have small fish that do this boring task for them.

Guys. Be careful though. If this wall goes your all fucked.

+1

Classic pump and dump with one big player controlling the entire market

This isn't going to end well, you're all getting played. Don't be a bagholder

Oh look, a total newbie who's never replied to a NeoBee thread before, who is using the terminology 'bagholder'. Now there's only one other person on these forums who uses that term...

Wow. Who's the total newbie now? I sincerely hope you lost allot of money in that pump and dump. People like you are what's wrong with this community

There's someone buying testing the market. This wasn't a pump.

If that was the case they would have put the wall back in at a lower price.

If it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck, acts like a duck...

No because he wants to test support he will try again but wants to see where price action is. A few sold into that wall but idea was to check if there are any big sellers out there that would eat out the wall entirely.

There weren't any big sellers. Wall was there for quite some time.

Wow. You actually believe that?

The wall would have gone within hours. Any serious investor isn't going to pull an order out twenty minutes after putting it in just because it didnt get instant action - there is nobody with 500k shares to fill that order - and considering there was about 20k that got taken out of it, there was serious action, if they had any actual intentions of buying and holding they wouldn't have removed the wall at all

It worked for a while until a few less delusional people on this forum called it out and stopped allot of weaker hands falling for this shit.

As soon as people stopped placing higher buy support the wall went, the pump was over.

On the plus side whoever just tried that pump and dump most likely lost allot of money.

With people like you running around though its surprising they didn't make a profit

You don't get it. This is the toe dipping Soros strategy to check selling power, how easy is to buy. This gives you a good indicator especially if you wanna start a buying spree.

In this case a fat order like that could be filled in by a big desperate seller fast which would tell you there are lots of big whale sellers out there and you can play that to your advantage.

Because I believe in the long game. I own a large amount of neobee shares I purchased @ 0.0001, and I will hold no matter what. That doesn't mean a pump and dump isn't obvious. It benefits me to have the share price driven up but I thought I would come here to give advice to the less experienced investors, even at a cost to myself. This wall will keep appearing and disappearing, keeping the pump and dump going until someone actually tests that wall. I hope people can see past there own preconceptions and realise that some people arn't just here to spread FUD and troll. I am seriously concerned with what this community is coming too, allot of people here are destined to lose allot of money if they can't see what is right in front of them.

Interesting. Care to present your long thesis?
13  Economy / Securities / Re: Neo & Bee talk (spam free thread) on: April 06, 2014, 10:49:15 PM
And its back. Just to show you guys what happens when the wall is gone, price dropped from 00045 to 0003 in a matter of minutes. TWC

Someone really wants to buy that amount at a good price.
14  Economy / Securities / Re: Neo & Bee talk (spam free thread) on: April 06, 2014, 10:42:22 PM

Don't say I didn't warn you.

So bitcoin.newsfeed, how are things?

You've clearly just brought some shares and are trying to drive up the price.

I have given you honest advice, either take it or leave it.

You were the one buying 2 days ago.

Check his posting history. This guy bought dirt cheap Neo shares just days ago.

Price was going up long before this wall showed up. It tripled from 1 to 3 prior to this wall.
17  Economy / Securities / Re: Neo & Bee talk (spam free thread) on: April 06, 2014, 10:03:21 PM
If there is any money left after that, presumably it would be distributed to the shareholders.  Is that correct?
Only, keep in mind that – unless I'm mistaken – NEOBEE "shares" aren't real company shares, are just "shares on future profits", which makes them exactly worthless.

Corporate bonds should be worthless by your definition. The Neobee shares listed on Havelock entitle the owner to 100% of all dividends until 2x the IPO price/share has been paid.
...

The shares entitle the owner to 100% of nothing.  Even if NeoBee became a successful business, the shareholders would be entitled to nothing if the profits are spent on expenses, like hiring your GF as a consultant.  You, as a non-voting shareholder, would have zero say in that.

Corporate bonds have nothing to do with any of this -- they don't pay dividends, they promise the holder a predetermined, fixed payment.

There will always be shady ways for corrupt company execs to be dodgy if they so wish.

Corporate bonds comes somewhat close to this "profit shares" model even if they promise fixed payment. Just change fixed payment on certain established date to % of dividends.

Other than the joy of pissing away money, how would he profit?

This guy is now talking about himself in the third person. Are you so Stoned that you have forgotten who you are?

He's back in character again. Wink

However, if we look at another Bitcoin company that shall not be named here, they've transformed "profit shares" into full company shares recently. Neo shares might follow same model and be converted into full company shares.
20  Economy / Securities / Re: MPEx owner in danger of being extradited to US to face charges on: April 06, 2014, 09:23:52 PM
I personally suspect MP owns quite a few shares in most of the listings on Havelock, just so that he can dump them if they threaten to actually succeed as businesses.

That won't have much impact actually because said businesses already raised IPO money, unless he messes with the IPO process, which he did several times. Most Havelock listings are not actual shares that give control in the company so you don't impact the company much by buying them after IPO ends.
